Staff was curt and condescending. Their lack of information ruined the first sample which they tried to blame on my daughter. Weve been in twice and had problems both times that resulted in an hour long wait.
Had a very nice experience. Usually there are issues getting blood draws and this was a very comfortable one with no issues whatsoever. No passing out, no trying more than once to find my uncooperative vein, no problems at all. The staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and had great bedside manner.
Ive now had 3 family members be treated rudely at this lab. I usually use one in Marshall, but I told my brother to go there and get his lab since he has MS, and it is closer. They were extremely rude to him. At this point, I will have him go to to the LabCorp in Terre Haute or Marshall. I dont understand why its hard to be nice to people when its your job. It costs nothing to be nice. If I treated people like that, I would and should be fired. And I left a message ask they didnt call back.
The lab techs were very professional and had good sense of humor. . Quick in and out!
The phlebotomist did not understand the lab test being performed. Instead of 3 draws spaced out an hour apart, she drew all 3 at once. I tried explaining the procedure, showed her the instructions on LabCorp website, and even had her supervisor give her the info: she still didnt understand the facts and told me to reschedule. She was not very friendly or polite throughout the exchange.
I went in there to get a blood draw of routine labs there where four people ahead of me. not I problem. I went to the window to register in, and now they have a tablet to do that for you. After about 5 min. of messing with the tablet I was able to register. I went to have a seat. The first thing I noticed right away is that the waiting room is not air conditioned. Muggy and uncomfortable. Shortly after two more people come into register, they didnt even finish registering when they were called in to get their lab work done. So I guess you can now make an appointment and skip ahead of the walk ins. Why not make it by appointment only then? I decided not to wait. I called my Dr. and asked them to send my labs over to good samaritan. At Least there I can pull a number and wait my turn and not have to worry about being bumped for a appointment. Gripe over. Too bad too but labcorp will not get my money any more.
These people just won’t answer their phones. I had an important question about Labs that needed to be answered by THEM. I just kept waiting and waiting, only to be hung up on after 5 minutes of holding. This happened 3 days in a row. Extremely unprofessional!
