Absolutely top service in every category: extremely responsive, worked extensively with me on price (keeping a total AC replacement absurdly affordable in the end). Our air went out during an overnight storm. I called KBS and Mr. Jimmy came out. He was very professional yet very kind and friendly. He immediately knew what our issue was and had it fixed quickly. Unlike other HVAC companies Ive dealt with, he didnt try to rip me off. I was very pleased with their quick service, friendly tech and above all else, the honesty. I will definitely be using this company for any other issues I have.

I texted through the online system and a rep immediately answered. The tech, Jimmy, showed up within minutes. He had to come back the next morning as we needed to defrost our system. He came right on time. We were charged the fee that we were quoted and nothing more. Who does that these days?! 😀 We were also happy to learn that they keep our services on a digital file, so if we have any trouble in the future, there is somewhere for the tech to refer to for historical repairs.From beginning to end, I was very pleased with Jimmy and KBS. Called in an emergency and they had someone out within 20min!!. That is unheard of. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. They were also very very reasonable as far as price. I was referred to them by Hope Works. They replaced my furnace and water heater. The installation was scheduled for 1 week after my initial contact. I was surprised it was so quick. Two men showed up to handle the installations. They were very respectful and professional. When they were finished I also had a new thermostat and CO2 detectors. Im very satisfied with their work.

I see some good reviews fir this company but I warn you now that they is a very poor job for us. They system install was done in a way that for three years we have had noting but problems. They had to come back so many times I lost track and eventually we had to bri g in another company braise we lost confidence in them. Now, after all this I found out that our 2200 sf home requires a 3.5 - 4 ton unit and recommended a 3 ton unit that just can’t keep up. We had to report them to the state board of contractor licensing and at this point are having to engage an attorney…it just been awful. I believe we will be forced to replace our new $7500 Trane system after three years. Do yourself a favor, scroll past them when looking for a contractor.Reading your response below we can add lacking in any sort of integrity to the list of things we don’t like about your firm.Anyone reading this should at the least beware, after all if we were pleased with the Service provided why would we be taking the time to write all these bad reviews!Also have attached photos showing that the ducts were cleaned...This is the sort of folks youd be dealing with!

I contacted KBS for a diagnosis and estimate on a new Upstairs HVAC unit. Jimmy was very friendly and courteous. He was very knowledgeable in explaining my current HVAC issues. Jason was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Hope to utilize this company for my future install. Update- I used KBS for my purchase and install, and could not be more satisfied!This company has the small town company feel that most are missing these days. I have to say that the service I just received from KBS heating and cooling was one of the best service services I have ever received! The service person was very friendly and personable. They actually put in my heating and air conditioning unit around four years ago which means that the part that they had to replace was covered under warranty. I really appreciate the fast service it took them to get the part and in installing it. Again the service personnel is the best I have ever worked with.

Purchased a system from them that was poorly installed. So poorly that Trane came out to look at it and said it was the worst installation theyd ever seen. This is after they were out to the house more than 10 times. T?hey literally taped the door shut on the air handling and it has been sucking in attic air for months. They left crushed ducting, and The Trane reps own words were They just didnt care. In the end, the equipment is ruined from their negligence and we will likely have to sue them to get made whole. Do not ever use these people.

Paid 89.00 service visit so they could quote me $5,500 price for a 2.5 ton swap-out. The going rate is about 3,000-3800. Usually about 1,500 for equipment and 1,500 + labor. Just got a quote from someone else for 3,200 for the same thing with a great warranty and that was just the 1st other quote so far. Not a good value at all as far as I can tell.

Customer experience was top notch. Jonathan was very knowledgeable and helped me understand exactly what was needed to fix our current problem. Would highly recommend for anyone needing their AC unit serviced.

KBS has always been a good service provider over the 20+ years I have lived in my house. I specifically appreciate their flexibility and ability to schedule me in within 24 hours weekday or weekends the few times my heating or cooling has gone out. (two times the lawn guy somehow cut the line) Ive had a few technicians, we signed up for the yearly maintenance, but Johnathan stands out as especially diligent. He will make sure he shows me where the problem is, the before and after state, and encourage questions to make sure Im satisfied and have a complete understanding of the issue before he leaves. I highly recommend them as an HVAC service provider.

I was happy to get same day service. Our air conditioner seems to be working now. However, I didn’t know that when the technician asked me where the water spigot was that he would be getting our water hose from the front, bring it around to the back and then leave both of them pulled out in the grass. This is not acceptable in my opinion.

Not only did Tommy tell when what was causing the water leak but he also took the time to clean up our outside units. Apparently we are supposed to clean those one a year but I never knew that. Tommy Smith came out recently and serviced our outdoor units and one of the furnaces. Very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us tips on maintenance to get some more life out of the units. Our HVAC system has never performed more efficiently than it does now.

I waited until first thing Monday to reach out and try to schedule an appointment, as the company I normally used for servicing was booked a week out.KBS fit me in first thing in the morning, gave me a 2-hour window, showed up promptly after giving me an ETA at the beginning of the window.Jason came to my home and went right to work. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. We discussed the steps I had already went through to try to get my system running. He diagnosed the issue very quickly, had me up and running. He went above and beyond going over things to look out for, explaining parts of my system, giving me advice and pricing for future needs.The cost was very affordable and competitive, and the extras you get from the technician who services your home is worth more than you pay.Extremely satisfied, would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them if the need arises in the future.

I was referred to KBS by a dear friend from JSSConstruction. I met Jessica over the phone she was sympathetic to my situation and made an appointment for the very next day. I was at work when Chris came to the house, he spent over 2hrs evaluating the problem. When your heat goes out in the middle of winter you tend to be a little anxious about it, especially with an infant. In no time these guys had us set up with two new units. They were super friendly and Id recommend them to anyone. Looking forward to that lower electric bill next month!

I am grateful for the proficient service which I received from KBS Heating and Cooling, Inc. They were very professional, and friendly. My heater was installed in a timely manner, and I am enjoying my new Water Heater. Thank you KBS!!!!

The workers were great, but the management is the absolutely worst and we have had nothing but trouble with our system. They didnt mention getting the ducts cleaned but then blamed the issues we had with the system on that. We then paid $500 to get the ducts cleaned and our system still isnt working properly and makes a lot of noise. Our old system worked better than this one and we are having to have another company come in to fix it. They also stepped through our roof and took a month to get it fixed, AND on the same day they installed our new system the Hot Water heater burnt out and they were miffed at the coincidence. We had to pay them $900 for a new hot water heater because otherwise wed have been without hot water. We were patient for months as we battled through this, and when we finally got frustrated one of their young managers came to the house and showed his butt. I would not recommend anyone every using these guys, and if you do, dont forget you read this!
