Great experience here. They really took their time to do a nice cut and made sure it was exactly how my son wanted it. We loved the old barbershop feel with the music to go along with it, (they are cash only as well). There was a little boy getting his hair cut at the same time, maybe 2yrs old, and the barber was so patient and friendly with him and the little guy got a wonderful cut. Would definitely recommend this place.

I have been going to Alex for the last two years after moving to the area and I have always loved how he cuts my hair and beard. My son who is 3.5yo has high sensory issues and hates the sound of sheers. The last time we got my son a haircut was a lady that came to my house and was only able to give him a half done haircut because she insisted on using sheers after I advised against it.I asked Alex about bringing my son in to get a haircut and Alex said not problem and he would make it look nice and he wouldn’t use sheers. I finally brought my son in this morning and he was able to sit through an entire haircut with barely any fuss. Alex did amazing and I really appreciated how accommodating he was to make my son as comfortable as possible. By far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a barber in my life and it wasn’t even my hair being cut.Thanks again Alex! You’re awesome!

This place is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive with everyone who walks in and calls ! I appreciate this business so much because it’s for all men and growing boys. My son absolutely loves it here, they are gentle and quick ! He was even inspired to become a barber because of the workers. Very nice gentlemans barbershop! Julian was one of the barbers in the place. He cut my hair, did a real good mid fade, and cut well on the top. Probably one of the best cuts hair cuts Ive had in awhile.Definitely check the shop out youll be happy you did. Good prices too.

Unprofessional at Hano Henry Gentlemens Barber. I booked an appointment online, was confirmed, received text to be there at date and time few days prior. Go there and barber (Alex) is not there. Staff at location has no idea what is going on (think he is at lunch) or access to appointment book of other staff, strange atmosphere. Was sent home, waste of time, no respect for your time, bad experience.

Alex does an amazing job, I drive 45 min to still come here for my son and I. Amazing feel to the place as well.

I have been on the hunt for a true gentlemans barber. Seem to only find fade shops .so I gave them a shot and was pleasntly surprised . the cut was great and the decor really adds to the experience. I will definitly be recommend this shop to all.

On a day where they were fully booked with minimal to no time in between they made the effort to accommodate an older gentleman who came in without an appoint wearing a VFW post 2801 hat. That’s community.

This is the absolute best barber shop in the area. Aside from the barber skills offered, the atmosphere is incredible and gives you a true feel for a traditional barbershop. Had an eight inch beard, sought a trim down to a 6 inch beard. Guy was over confident in his abilities of taking on a beard and now Ive got a 2 inch beard and people asking what happened.*Update - Thank you for the response, FYI each inch of facial hair growth on average takes 2 months per inch. It will grow back to the length requested in 8 months. You did great jobs on the haircut, the shaving of the neck/cheek, and great lines there. Giving an additional star for that.

Amazing classy atmosphere and decor. Staff is immediately welcoming and keep the place very tidy. Got my first cut with amber and she was absolutely kind and professional. Very happy with this establishment and will continue to take get my cuts here from now on.

For 3 years I have gotten my hair cut with Hano, 3 years of compliments by friends, family, and even strangers. Hano, the owner, is a top notch barber. The guy simple has the talent and skill, super detail oriented. I personally appreciate that from him, he won’t let you leave his shop just looking “OK”. You won’t be disappointed, explain your self well with what you want done and sit back and let Hano worry about the rest. You won’t regret it! As for the shop, employees are professional and down to earth. Great staff & environment!

Love this place! Took my son for his first haircut and the guys there all interacted with him to make him more comfortable and at ease! The owner, Alex, is awesome! Hes very warm and welcoming! Gary did such an awesome job with my sons hair even with him being squeamish! I knew these guys from another shop in town but Im so glad Alex opened his own shop! It really is a fantastic place! For being a girl, I loved the feeling of just wanting to sit there and relax with a cigar and a whiskey! It has this old time feel with a modern twist. I will definitely be going back again and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Alex, your doing an amazing job!

Great barbershop and group of guys here. Its got this classic and sophisticated look going on. They have big flat screen with sports always playing. They take their time with their haircuts unlike a lot of these 15 minute haircuts I was used to getting at barbershops in the city. Give them a try. You wont regret it.

Going in for my first time was great! From the ease of setting up the appointment on Google, to the compliments I have received since they have done nothing but perfection. Well designed inside and outside from what was Als Smoke Shop back in the day. Great staff that makes you feel like youve been going there all your life. Fairly priced. Wouldnt think twice of recommending and going back.

Well the story goes like this, my barber retired after going to him for 25 years. I started going to barbers around town by alphabetical order. Just to be upfront I have a difficult hair cut as well as difficult hair. My wife made an appointment with Tom and I went in loaded with all the information from my past barber to give him the upper hand. I think he was a little overwhelmed by what I had blurted out and knew that I had high expectations, especially when I have had a few failed haircuts. We talked, he ask questions and I felt comfortable with the way he took on my hair cut. By the end of my time in the chair Tom had done an awesome job, he was truly happy he nailed it and I was happy as well. The talent and the atmosphere at Hano Henrys is like no other. I am glad I finally found someone to take on my difficult haircut. My friends highly recommended Hano Henry and I now recommend them and Tom too. I should have listened to them in the first place. Ive been there twice now in 2 months..Gary and Pear have cut my hair, amazing cuts... everyone is friendly, talented and they tailor to your needs. A true classic barber shop. I have seen then cut many different types of hair, including childrens.. prices are Very reasonable for the services they provide. I will be going back for as long as I have hair (hopefully another 40 yrs lol). You can easily setup an appointment online, or just walk in like I do ( i live 1.5 blocks away )

The best haircut/beard trim I had in a while.

My son went in for a trim after growing his hair rather long. He told Amber to cut only one inch. She told him she thought that would look stupid so she cut 7 inches instead. Now he has to start over. Terrible customer service when I called to complain. They told me to have him wash the product out of his hair and that would make it longer. Be warned. Too add insult to injured the owner Alex Halo told me to tell my son “chin up” and stop being upset because it will regrow in about 7 months.

Must give this place 5 stars because my boyfriend always looks amazing! He goes to Hano and he’s been going to him for years now. A few other friends have gone to him, and it’s a complete transformation! I’ve never seen him give a bad cut, he will make any ugly person look fresh!! Very professional, you’re able to schedule your appt through their website, and the place is clean! Highly recommend, Hano has magic hands!

My husband has been going to Alex for the past year. He followed him from his old shop to his newly renovated one because he liked him so much. We now take our 1.5 year old to get his haircut and Alex is so patient with him, its never a struggle. Really clean shop, easy to make an appointment, cuts are on point and to top it off Alex is a really nice guy!

Great barbershop

I got a classic shave with a straight razor. To sum it up in one word, amazing.. Alex is very kind and knows what hes doing. The shop, and atmosphere, allows for a very rustic, vintage and classic feeling. They dont have places like this anymore and this is a classic place to go.

My wife and I moved to Villa Park in 2008. Since then, Ive been looking for a good barber. Believe me, I have been everywhere in the western suburbs and no one is as good as Hano Henry. His shop is awesome and the haircut is fantastic! Im glad he is in Villa Park!

The main guy Alex gets it perfect every time. Classic, but modern decor. Place is really nice. Price isnt bad and is definitely worth every penny.

Amazing hair cut, and they have free waters, Donuts, and pizza and that was nice, they joked around and made it a(n) nice experience .... BUT there prices are pretty outrages. It costs 50 dollars for 2 people. At my other barbershop you could get 4 people haircuts for 50 dollars...
