TintFX is the real deal. I shopped around the area and found that they are the most cost effective for quality window tinting. I had my front two roll-down windows done and it’s perfect. I had an idea of what I wanted going in, but they recommended another tint percentage. I took their advice and I’m really glad I did. They are true experts of their field. The entire experience was seamless and I’ll be taking our other vehicles to get done soon.

I had my auto windows tinted here. I called and was given several quotes and all were well within reason. I made an appointment and was able to have the tint installed on all four windows as well as the side and back windows in less than an hour.There is a comfortable waiting area with a large television, so dont worry about not having anywhere to sit while waiting, if you choose to do so.There were several choices between brands and levels of tint to choose from. I chose middle of the way and so far, I am satisfied with the quality of the work that they did as well as the amount of light thats not coming into the vehicle now.The location is in a building on a side street off of Maple Avenue in Vienna, which is very accessible. I can truly say I recommend their services in the future.

The scheduling was easy and she gives realistic estimates on how long the process will take. It took about an hour for me and they had a nice waiting area. Been coming here for years, Im just glad they relocated into Vienna, so its even closer to Tysons. Ive had all my Hondas and BMWs tinted here, from sedans, coupes, to minivans. So a total of around 6 vehicles over the past 20 years, all done at different seasons and temps. Only once did I notice enough tiny bubbles to warrant me coming back to have that window redone, which they did at no additional cost. Everyone I recommend this shop to is happy. Which is why Im sitting here again waiting for my latest car to get done.

Did a quick and good job removing the tint on my front windows, no adhesive was left and it wasnt sticky. Will definitely be back here to add/remove tints in the future.

I came here to have tint put on my car and they had several openings within the week, so it was easy to find a time to come in. They are a little more than a few other places in the area but the quality of work that was done was great. I will say that it took almost two weeks for the tint to finally cure because of the cold weather but now looks great on my car. Thanks guys!

We had what might be considered to be a small job -- just tinting of two garage windows. Mike showed us a couple of examples for us to select, and he went to work. When I bought my new car, I didn’t where to go, so looked on here and Yelp. TintFX has great reviews on both, and I must say that the reviews were accurate. The customer service was stellar, and the tint job was immaculate. The front-end woman (her name is escaping me right now) took the time to carefully explain to me all the differences and choices, and I finally ended up with a great looking tint; I got it done 2 or 3 weeks ago. 10/10 would recommend. BONUS: they have a special discount for military/first responders.

The service was pretty awesome. Erik (probably the owner?) is a chill and friendly dude. I got quote from a few places and their prices seem to be reasonable. I got all of my windows and a shade band for the windshield done. Everything looks pretty good so far. One minor complaint is that the shade band is a little too small. I dont think its going to block out the sun a lot of the time, which defeats the purpose. But that could just be poor communication from my part. I called at 1:30ish and got an appointment at 3:00. The entire installation was done under an hour, tho they had two guys worked on it. I imagine it wouldve been a little longer if they were busier.Asides from some minor non-communication issue, it was a pretty pleasant experience. I wouldve giving them a 4 star but they deserve be rated higher than all the other places around here.

Eric has tinted multiple cars for my family and I and the quality is always flawless. A little pricy compared to some shops but well worth the extra cost for the work to be done right. Theres never any lines or creases in the tint, you cant see where it meets the edge of the window nor are there any air bubbles. The window still looks stock after being done, minus being darker.

Great job with a word of caution:I brought a brand new, fully loaded car I was overly worried about. I wanted to nit and fret about every detail. But TintFx managed to accommodate me! Ashley talked me through my choices, alleviated my concerns, and made me feel like she would make things right if there was a problem.I called Ashley on Wednesday and she had my whole car, windshield and all, done by 2p Friday! They did a fantastic job - I have been over their work repeatedly and have yet to find a noteworthy fault. For this I gave 5 stars. And for a very reasonable price.Unfortunately, I think there is a possibility that you could have a 1 or 2 star experience, as the owner is a bit abrasive and condescending. If you have a problem that ends up going over Ashley, I could foresee the conversation becoming tense with an unfavorable outcome, turning a 4-star there was one small issue experience into a 1-star there was a small issue that escalated into a shouting match and Ill never go there again experience.So long as Ashley stays in control of the customer experience, this place will likely give 5 star service, as the guys doing the work are fast and do a great job.

I got my new Jeep Grand Cherokee tinted with tint fix about a week ago and I was very pleased. The employees were friendly, informative and professional explaining the various window films, benefits, cost etc. this is the first time Ive visited them since moving to the Vienna location which is much better than their old spot.I wanted my front windows to match the factory privacy glass before I decided to make the rear windows darker and he gave me the option to have the front windows match either from the out or the inside, depending on which % film I chose and explained why. I had them match from the outside and make the rear window 5% just so I could decide later if I wanted the rear side windows darker.The car came out beautifully. The only issue/concern I had was that my car smelled heavily of cigarettes and unfortunately I couldnt roll the windows down. Other than that, extremely pleased and I will return to them in the coming weeks to go darker on the back windows!

Decent enough tint job, I suppose. This place works QUICK, but it definitely shows in their attention to detail. Quite a few tiny bubbles are present throughout the job (although, admittedly, youve got to look close), and I would have expected the window edges to be more even. Owner Emily seemed to appreciate both my business and feedback on the job, while her husband and co-owner... well... lets just say its a safe bet he hasnt taken Customer Service 101. But this isnt personal... its just tint. In any case, looking at online reviews, Tint FX still appears to be among your best bets in Northern Virginia.

I recently had my 2018 Infiniti Q70L tinted by Eric and his team. The Q70 is a hard car to tint because it has a highly angled rear window and small portal windows with lots of curves in the inside. The last tone I got a 2015 Q70 tinted by someone else, I had to get it removed because of issues with poor installation. No such issues with TintFX. The customer service is great and polite and they totally stand behind their work. What I really like is that Eric responds immendiately and will fix any issue till the outcome is perfect. Overall, I’d be glad to take any car to TintFX. Highly recommend them.

Great service from Eric and team. He was able to fit me in same day. When I arrived, he quickly walked me through the options along with recommendations and then they went to work. They knocked it out with superb results in less than 50 minutes. As an example of the level of detail, they put a dont roll down the windows sticker over the drivers side window controls. Horrible service, unprofessional, paid $500 to have my paint scratched, on top of that the mileage on my car went up. Recommend staying and watching your vehicle. Usually the customer is right, no not at this business, at this business the customer is crazy, called an got hit with a list of excuses maybe a branch hit it, maybe it was a rock etc. Will not be coming back to tint fx in the future

Had a 10 AM appointment booked weeks in advance. Nobody showed up and opened. I missed work for the appointment. Tried calling multiple times and left a message. Even tried texting and no response.They called back, rescheduled, and gave a 10% discount. They did a great job and made up for the missed appointment.

Very friendly staff including owner. Ashley, the office manager, is especially friendly and takes her time explaining and demonstrating the different classes of tint. Their pricing is competitive for the area. They lose a star for giving me my car back smelling of cigarette smoke. Took a few days for the odor to dissipate since youre not supposed to open the windows for a cp me of days after the tint job. If Id have known, I would have asked them to avoid smoking in or around my car and Im certain they would have accomdated.

I had an image of what I wanted the tint on my car to look like, and these guys knew exactly what I wanted as I was explaining. They are professional, and they did an awesome job!

Based on a friend review and many positive reviews on Google +, we chose to get our 2014 BMW and 2014 Focus tinted. The BMW was first and Eric did a great job in selling the best tint product for our BMW. He assured us it would look great and we wouldnt be disappointed. It was done in about an hour and was pleased to see they put this protective tape over the window controls so you don’t roll down your window by accident. But after 2 weeks and following their instructions to a tee, we still werent satisfied with the results. The back window had multiple bubbles and imperfections. The sides had bubbles that did not go away with direct sunlight as Eric mentioned and we noticed there were actual scratches in some areas as well. We brought it back and met with Emily to show our concerns. She was very nice and professional and made an appointment with us to bring the BMW back to fix the issues as well as the Focus on the same day. She apologized and assured us it will be done better. The day of tint, we brought both vehicles back and Eric met with us and went on a tangent about how nothing is perfect, that the work he sees looks “good to him” and we “need to look through the tint and not at it”, huh? He made us feel as if we were wrong for bringing the BMW back and should be happy with the work they did. Regardless, they took the BMW and Focus in the garage and we returned a little over an hour later. The imperfections on the BMW were corrected to the best they could do, but the Focus has the same bubbles and imperfections, but more and no sticker on the window controls! The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I got into the BMW, THERE WERE CIGARETTE ASHES ON THE DRIVER’S SEAT!!! Not just a few, but all in the leg extension crease, covering the seat. It got on my pants and when I went to wipe it away, it just smeared the white ash everywhere!! At this point, we don’t want to go back to have them correct the Focus; the thought of having the same confrontation with Eric and/or run the risk of actual cigarette burns or something else worse happen is enough for us to take our business elsewhere. More than dissatisfied with Tint FX and would not recommend at all.

Their services and products are excellent and customer service is top notch. Ive had my vehicle tinted twice (moved from VA to MD, went with darker tint) and had numerous parts plasti dipped. Cant recommend this place enough if you live in the DC area; its worth the drive to have your vehicle tinted or dipped.

My car came with tinted windows when I bought it but not being used to driving with them at night, I opted to have them removed. Anyway, I removed the tint myself from all four doors but didnt want to mess with the rear window and risk damaging the defroster lines. Long story short, I wanted professionals doing that so based on reviews, I drove up to Tint FX. They provided me with a quote which I found very reasonable and asked me to come back in the evening. I came back as agreed, car went in immediately, and 20 mins laters, car is out with perfect results. What I really appreciated about these guys is that they didnt ask any questions as to why I was removing the tint or to offer lighter shades/other products. Any place that doesnt annoy me with up-sell, is a place I like. Five stars all the way.

A quality tint is not cheap but these guys did a wonderful job. It looks great and is so much more comfortable in the summer sun.
