Richard installed our replacement Architect series window. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. When he completed the installation he advised regarding (interior) painting and window maintenance and ensured he had answered all my questions. He is a true professional. .

I would highly recommend Pella for those looking to replace windows. These reasons stand out:a) Pricing is competitive -- not the cheapest option, but one gets what they pay for. We were willing to invest in quality.b) Love the Pella windows -- clean designs and easy to use. And one will be shocked at how much quieter things are after the installation. I can no longer hear one of my loud neighbors.c) Communications with the various Pella workers -- all around -- was excellent. If you had a question, it was answered quickly.d) Workers doing the installation were great. We are crazed about workers coming into our home and cleaning up behind themselves. When the Pella workers departed it was hard to tell that they had been around -- everything was cleaned up and spotless.

Don came to look at two possible repairs for our early 1980s doors and windows. I found him incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and engaging. Cant imaging anyone out there who knows his product better than Don. When he noticed we were missing one of the sliding glass door clips which hold the interior glass in place, he went to his truck, found a clip and even painted white to match the others. We were very pleased with the service he provided.

I hired Pella to replace my casement windows and patio doors. Great job. The workmanship was remarkable. The windows and doors are great.

Signed a contract with Pella in Aug 2020 with a completion date of Nov. 23,2020. Was told wrong storm door was delivered and would need to reorder. Waited 30 days and I had to contact them tp see what was going on and they put other installations a head of me so I would have to wait. The management of Pella never called to let me know any statuses of this job. Work finally was somewhat completed in April 2021 with the supervisory manager telling me I would get a discount. He lied as usual and I got billed 72 hours after the last visit. Pella Mid-Atlantic is not a place you should do business. By the way they pained the wrong color and the storm door no longer latches properly. World not recommend them.

Richard and Mark from Pella made a special Saturday appointment so that they could install a replacement Pella door in our kitchen (the next weekday scheduled opening was not for over a month from now). They arrived promptly at 8 am and, after routing out the door to attach the hinges, installed the new door. They also relocated the remote alarm relay from the existing door to the replacement door.When I asked them to show me how to install new rollers (which I had previously purchased) to replace the broken existing rollers on a Pella sliding screen door to my deck, they offered to replace the new rollers and reinstall the screen door on its track!Richard and Mark had done work at our house before and I have always found them to be very friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. I would highly recommend them!

RICHARD provided quick and efficient service and advised me on how to adjust the closing mechanism. Unfortionitly, Pella does not provide rehabilitation services for their wooden frames.

Do not go with Pella if you can help it.The product is good, but the service ends once you signed a contract.It took a year, yes a year, to get my front door right. Customer service blames everything on COVID but can’t explain what COVID has to do with the door painted the wrong color or it being scratched.Manager of any level would never talk to you even when promised and you never will get any apology for a year of inconvenience.Unless you really like irritation and poor customer service, don’t use Pella.

Awesome experience! Only 2nd time in 14 yrs. needing Pella to send a technician for like my still like-new, beautiful 2006 casement windows with snap in shades. Richard called first and arrived when he said he would, was as knowledgeable about 2006 windows and products as current ones, solved two problems for me, and then measured for snap-ins for my few windows that never had snap-ins. Im so happy with my products and the company. Pella trains their technicians and they train their customers. Richard was great. Thank you Pella!

Pella windows are fantastic, we had some stress fractures within 2 years of installation from a few windows, the replacement products were under warranty. While during COVID it took nearly 3 months for the windows to arrive, Don did a phenomenal job with the installation. His priority for customer service didnt go unnoticed. Pella sent 2 repair guys (Richard & Jim) to replace my faulty blinds - they were friendly, professional and thorough. I bought a pella product because I wanted a product I could count on. Even though I had an issue - Pella got it corrected.

The sales rep was very helpful, did not try pressure tactics and came down in price to match a competitors price. I felt more comfortable with Pella as they did more to answer my questions and were more comprehensive in the design and walkthrough. Apparently doors take forever to make, so the 6-8 waiting period seemed long, but apparently normal, outside of that everything went smoothly, they were good at updating us and the installers were very professional and did a great job, and also answered questions and gave suggestions to us. Overall a very good experience

The company has been outstanding to work with from the salesman Bill Reames (prompt replies to my emails and all questions) to the gentleman who came out to measure (also addressed many of my style questions) to the woman at the Pella front desk (showed me samples and helped me choose the right shade of white) to the gentleman who led the installation (went above and beyond to even add an additional piece of trim, which made the windows look fantastic). I couldn’t be happier with my Pella experience.

I recently bought a Pella door from Pella Windows and Doors of Tysons Corner. During the recent period of very high temperatures and high humidity the door swelled and was a little tight and had to be pulled hard to close. I called my salesman and let him know what was happening. He identified the issue and immediately scheduled a repair visit. Today Don Spittle came out and looked at the door. He was very friendly and was able to make a small adjustment to the door and had it closing properly within minutes. Good companies sell good products. Great companies like this one sell great products and stand behind their work.

We had approximately 40 windows and doors replaced over the last month. Our sales experience was easy and no pressure with John Dalton. Aaron Smith was great overseeing and coordinating the installation from start to finish, always communicating and working through issues. There were a lot of rain days in August and we had a couple of design items that needed to be addressed. Our windows went from ho-hum to WOW - we changed out several rows of 30 year-old double hung windows for some huge picture windows and the windows are a real showpiece. The work was done professionally and I would highly recommend Pella Mid-Atlantic.

When we had a small issue with a sliding Pella door installed last year, Richard came today and within 15 minutes he had diagnosed and completely fixed the issue. This was door maintenance rather than repair. Sliding patio doors were cloudy between the panes. The technician showed me how to open and close the inside glass panel in order to clean both sides. He was an excellent teacher, and had me perform the open/close cycle several times to insure I could do it.

The Pella window tech named Gnoc is awesome. We had an issue with one of our dozen or so Pella windows inside rails while folding it in for seasonal cleaning. Gnoc came over to take a look and was able to fix it and the side insulation as well on the spot.

Service Technician, Philip Wendtland, visited our home to deal with an issue regarding a replace sash that was delivered with the window latch on the left side of the window incorrectly placed. This happened not once but twice. Philip was very understanding of our situation and made a temporary repair and ordered new sashes for us. We are grateful for his work to give a window that will fully close and lock.

Wow! Absolutely love this front door. It’s heavy, and was beautifully crafted with a perfect fit. The installers thought of every attention to detail, including the planning of an English Centre Door pull, which is extremely heavy. No heat or AC loss with this. Our Wooden Pella Windows equally amazing. From the minute they were installed, we were loving the ‘quiet’ for the first time, living on a busy street. These windows made all the difference and we are looking forward to the energy savings as well. Every person from Pella that we encountered was professional, skilled and did everything right the first time. Truly an art. I may have paid a little more for these windows, but in the end you get what you pay for. For me, it was excellent quality and expert installation. Replaced large 8X4 glass window where gasket had been leaking. They recaulked all other windows in the house. Richard, Phil and Ngoc did a great job.

Just had Richard Lowenthal of Pella Tysons service our 8 year old sliding glass windows that had shown condensation between the panes. He quickly identified the problem applied caulk in the areas needed and then proceeded to caulk the other Pella windows that we have to prevent the same problem occurring there. Would highly recommend.

Service Technician Philip Wendtland repaired the hardware on a Pella window, and the window now opens and closes easily. Although it took 5 weeks to get an appointment, Philip diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in a professional courteous manner.

We had an appointment for 2:30 on Saturday August 23rd. I had texted our address and contact info to Donna Halloran who I met when I stopped in their Tysons showroom. We had a very nice text exchange. It is now 3:15, havent heard from them, texted Donna twice, no response. You would think with this pandemic businesses would be eager to have someone spend money with them...very disappointed.

I ordered windows from Pella with installation. I was very impressed with the windows, but especially the installation crew. They were quick efficient and professional. When the job was complete, they cleaned their area, repainted the molding and they look great.The windows that I bought are to stand up to the hot afternoon sun. I got the 98% UV blockers and they work as advertised.I will finish the rest of the windows in my house this next summer and will definitely use Pella again.

We have floor to ceiling Pella Designer triple-pane windows across the back of our house. Unfortunately, a weed whacker picked up an acorn and threw it at one of them and it shattered. We assumed the whole window would have to be replaced, frame and all, but Pella informed us that the sealed double-pane could be replaced without ripping out the whole window unit.It would take some skill to do this, which was expertly supplied by Ngoc Nguyen and Phillip from Pella. They arrived on time, removed the broken window, replaced it, cleaned all the window panes, and removed all work debris. They were truly professional in every way. We are extremely pleased with the quality of their workmanship.Over several years we have replaced all of our windows in our 1980-built home with Pella Designer triple-pane windows. They have improved the energy performance of our home, deadened the street noise, are well made, are easy to open and clean, and are attractive. We couldnt be happier!

We purchased new windows and doors from Pella last summer and are completely happy with the whole experience. Tom, our salesperson in the Falls Church showroom and then our main point of contact through the measuring and installation, was knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. The crew who came out and did the installation work was skillful and quick--and I think they may have left our house even cleaner than they way they found it! :) Neighbors and even complete strangers driving by have stopped to compliment us on the way it turned out--the look of our standard-issue suburban 1950s brick house has been completely modernized and transformed. The Pella windows and doors cost a bit more at the outset, but the warranties cant be beat and the quality is excceptional.
