It’s all begins from Ms. Fanny who answered my call to set an appointment and knowing that I don’t have dental insurance worked on discount without being asked!🌹 and then during my visit beautiful nurse Ms. Lily was professional and very sweet! And finally when I met Dr. Food...! He was so attentive to my concern and walk me through the process and explained every step he is taking. Besides that he is very sweet and kind that makes you feel home with all comfort possible! ❤️ I will definitely recommend this practice and lovely people who does their job 10 stars out of 5🌹🙏 Thank you all so much! Staff is very friendly there and Dr. Farhoumand is excellent- she examined me and immediately correctly diagnosed my problem - before this, I went to several other dentists over the years where they just said the same easy wrong thing that was not correct. I really want to write a 5 star review like everyone else since the staff is usually friendly but there has been miscommunication on more than one occasion in my case.Initially I went in summer of 2020 and was referred by someone. The first few appointments everything went well and I was told that since I was referred, both the person who referred me and I would receive a gift card. Later, after weeks went by, I was told that i was given incorrect information and never got the card. I said no problem and moved on.Then my insurance changed and I was unable to go to this office for further check ups and had to switch dentists. Less than 10 months after i had some teeth filled at this office, a small cavity started forming in one of the same teeth again. I was told this by my new dentist, so I called Farhoumand dentistry and asked if they would be willing to look at it for me since it had been less than a year. I had mentioned that i would not be able to pay since i do not have insurance that covers this and am currently not working. They agreed to see me and said that they could look at the new xrays I had and look at the filling for me free of charge. When i went into the office, I was told that the filling was very tiny and was given the impression that my new dentist didn’t know what he was talking about.They fixed the filling for me and I mentioned that i had been having pain in another area and that my new dentist was going to work on that. I was told that the doctor would look at that for me but was not informed that that would cost extra out of pocket (even though I had mentioned many time that I don’t have insurance that their office will accept). Though it was a short appointment, at the very end of the appointment I was told that they would only charge me for the office visit (even though I had previously mentioned that it is difficult for me to pay out of pocket). Then I was told that I would be charged less than the full amount since I was paying out of pocket but I wish I was told all this before the dentist did the extra 10 to 15 minutes of work because I would have asked to stop had I known that I was going to be charged at the end. I did not want to cause a fuss so I payed and though the extra work to fix my bite was done and helped the pain temporarily, the pain returned the next day and it was a waste of time and money. I have had several instances like this at this office, which is why I am unable to leave more than 2 or 3 stars due to miscommunications.

Ive never written a review in my life but I felt this necessary. Ive had a variety of pretty good & not bad dentists.. Dr. Foad is easily the best Ive ever had. He so kindly and thoroughly explained what he suspected the problem was, and then discussed his updated plan with me throughout the procedure, working on me until the issue was resolved, not just until my time slot was up. He has such a warm personality, recognized me in the waiting room on my 2nd visit and stopped to say hi. Both of my hygienists have been fantastic and looked after me so well; and the front desk woman is really sweet. Ive already recommended Dr. Foad to my friends and I will absolutely be back.

I had a horrible toothache for a week and by Saturday I could not take the pain. I did a google search and found this office was opened and read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. They took me in on an emergency basis. I thought for sure I was going to need my back molar pulled. The staff was great. I did wait an hour but it was well worth the wait. Dr Farhoumand was wonderful. I sure put him to test. Was scared to death and he was very patient with me. His bedside manner was terrific as well. He made sure I was comfortable and was able to save my tooth and do a root canal. Thank you so much and I’m glad I found my new dentist and I’m not afraid anymore.

Dr. Foad is a skilled practitioner with a lot of experience. He has provided me dental care for over 20 yrs now and I totally trust his judgement. I have compared him with others and he is simply the best.

Dr. Farah Farhoumand’s dental work has got to be one of the best in the US. She will solve whatever issue you have, guarantee. But, what makes her work highlight from every other dentist I had (and I had many) is that she puts so much attention to the smallest details in the cosmetic aspect and durability of the treatment provided. She doesn’t treat you like another patient; instead, she treats you as if you were a close family member of hers. In other words, you get that VIP treatment feeling (don’t believe me? try it out). She makes sure to hear you out first, then conducts only the necessary analysis to make reliable and accurate diagnosis. Then, she will explain you what the problem is and what your treatment options are, listing the pros and cons of each. She will then take her time to answer any questions you have and will never pressure you to get something done just because she wants to profit. Once you choose your treatment option, you will see that she uses the best material and the amount of material necessary to make her dental work not just efficient but also appealing fo the sight and most importantly durable, so you won’t have to come back again for the same issue if possible (ex. she will never try to use as little as material as possible to profit the most). I got to say this is 1 out of the 3 reviews I ever wrote in my life. I only write a review when I find a business that clearly separates from the rest, and I feel like people can really benefit from it.

Best dentist I ever had!

In the midst of the pandemic, my usual dentist was not able to reopen. I cracked a tooth and called Farhoumand Dentistry. They were able to get me in quickly and were very kind and gentle. Their technology was great in helping me to see what the dentist saw. Unfortunately, things are even worse than I thought! I have follow-up appointments to repair my teeth. So far, Im please with Dr. Farhoumand and their clean office.

If everyone had as much skill, compassion, and empathy as Dr. Sanaz Varhid and Dr. Farah Farhoumand, wed be living in a peaceful, productive, kind world!Dr. Sanaz Varhid saw me same-day to treat an infected tooth/gum/bone - I was stressed as I had just left another surgeons office who described treatment as very complicated and wanted sedation days later. Dr. Varhid is incredible as both a practitioner and human being. First, she ensured minimal pain (so hard to numb but she did it so fast and so well!), was thorough on cleaning, and conducted the procedure in one go without any complications. Second, she was SO patient, soothing, kind, and fun! She had me laughing and crying. The first surgeon felt dark and unwelcoming. Dr. Varhid is the polar opposite and I cannot thank her enough for making a sad and scary experience a good one (who knew it was possible?).Ive been seeing Dr. Farah Farhoumand for years now, and have already written in about how amazing she is. But it is worth emphasizing again. She has so much empathy and has always provided the best and kindest care (and even connected me to a dentist when I was out of state one year). I have so much gratitude for her.This office is a powerhouse. And you should go here. And ask for the best practitioners in dentistry/periodontistry!

I went for a cleaning, and had to get a few cavities removed a week later. The staff is consistently friendly and very professional. Very happy and clean environment. Dr. Foad always makes me feel extra comfortable and safe. He also is very thorough in his work and makes sure I know what’s being done and why. Though I live in PG county, this dentistry is definitely worth the drive.

I had a bad experience with my old dentist and was terrified and had major anxiety going to see Dr. Farah Farhoumand. Not only did she put me completely at ease, she was so gentle and took her time with the worst part for me, the Novocain! I did not feel a thing! I am so happy with this practice. I also love the fact that they have the latest technology which Made for my most non-eventful Dentist appointment. I’ve never not had pain in the dentist chair this was my first time. I met with Mia when comes to cleaning my teeth and shes doing really good job, gentle and gave information that I need so I can maintain my teeth better. And when it comes to fix my teeth Dds Farhoumand is really great as well. Hes gentle and didnt make fast decision when my tooth not in good condition BUT instead looks for other option. I love the team work in this place!

This office was great and professional. The dental hygienist was lovely as well as Dr. Farhoumand (the female Dr. worked with me) they are gentle and work with high quality instruments. They are time efficient and clear on insurance out of pockets. They are also flexible and work with me regarding reschedules. I told all my co workers to go there Bc they are in network with our insurance and give such great service!!

I loooove this place! I found this office in November 2018. Before then, I hadn’t seen a dentist in about 4/5 years. Myanh gave me my teeth cleaning. I love how time efficient, thorough, informative and gentle she is. She’s a sweetheart. Unfortunately she found cavities and Dr. Foad had to give me fillings. Amazinngggggg guy by the way. He’s very concerned about his patients and you can tell he genuinely appreciates his patients and staff. I was experiencing discomfort when chewing so I brought my sister in with me for a revision. I was so scared that I’d never be able to eat normally again. Once the numbing medication wore off, and I ate something, I couldn’t believe it but Dr. Foad fixed it. I hadn’t even come for a revision but he did my revision right then and there. He said, “you can not go on like this. You’re here now, let’s do something.” I was so happy I could cry. My sister says she can tell he loves me! Haha! 5 stars!

Good dentists are hard to come by and when you find one you stick to them! I have been coming to this practice since I was 13, Im 34 now. I live about 24 miles away from the practice but the service and care definitely outweigh the distance. The Farhoumand Dentistry, Dr. Foad and the entire team are simply the best! They treat all their clients with respect and as if you were a part of the family. Going there doesnt even seem like youre going to the dentist, but more like going to a family members house where you relax and catch up. That type of family atmosphere really makes ones typical dentist visit a pleasurable one. Also, if you have any scheduling conflicts or even financial constraints they really to their best to be accommodating and come up with the best solution that works for you. Honestly, if I ever move out of the DMV (which I dont plan to) Im not sure what I will do because Ive been so lucky to have a dentist like Dr. Foad and be a part of a practice that truly cares. Every time I visit her office for my dental care, I am made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly and competent front-office staff and the pleasant environment of the office itself. Dr. Farhoumand inspires the utmost confidence by her polite demeanor as well as by her wealth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism.Whether I need a periodic dental checkup and cleaning (thank you Maya -my highly trained and professional hygienist) or a complicated bridge work, she approaches each procedure with utmost care and patience. Recently I had several visits to her office for my permanent bridge work.
