I was very hesitant to start another laser treatment, as this had been my third time attempting laser.I already knew that having light hair was going to be an issue, and it would be harder to get rid of the hair. All my previous attempts had failed, hair had never completely fallen and the sessions were extremely painful.Before I decided to give it a third - and possibly final try, I called Soraya and she, very kindly offered a free consultation to look at my interested areas, and briefly explain why my other attempts had failed. We discussed the hair growth cycle and even delved into hormonal issues that could impede the hair fall.A year later, I can say that it’s the best laser treatment I’ve received. I have very few hair left, and am very happy with my results. I’ll keep coming for retouches, but they’re totally worth it.Just to sum up my experience, Soraya is very professional and efficient. She’s patient and her technology is very effective.Her appointments are always on time and her prices are very reasonable. She deserves more than 5 starts!

I am so happy with my laser hair removal! I first visited Soraya six years ago for laser hair removal for pretty much my entire body. It took several sessions due to hair growth cycles, which I knew would be required, and now I just go a couple times a year for touch ups. Soraya provided personalized treatment that worked best for my skin and hair growth problem areas. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and I wish I had done it years earlier instead of spending all of that time shaving, plucking, and waxing.

I honestly cant recommend MyGentleLase enough! I did a ton of research into lasers used before choosing where to do hair removal and this is definitely the best- especially if you are fair skinned and/or have dark hair. The pricing is very competitive- sure its more than youd pay with a Groupon, but youll get results that last here. Since I was regularly waxing + tipping, in a years time the laser therapy will have paid for itself. I never thought Id be so happy, but this is honestly one of the best things Ive done for myself and I trust the esthetician to not only know what shes doing, but also use the proper sanitation practices.

My hair removal journey began over ten years ago as a teenager of Middle Eastern and Hispanic decent. I first tried electrolysis (because my mom thought that was best) but I was young and only went a handful of times before I quit. A couple of years later, I asked for laser hair removal for my high school graduation present. This was back in 2006 when laser was still fairly new and very expensive. I did laser hair removal from 2006 until 2013 on my face before I finally gave up. Not only was my hair growing back, there was a lot more of it!Electrolysis seemed to be my only other option so I gave it another try. The woman that I saw initially would schedule me for an hour (just for my face) every two to three weeks. As I sat in her chair, I could feel her plucking each and every hair but given her years of experience, I figured that she knew what she was doing. After 3 months I swore that the same exact hairs were coming back. After 6 months, I quit.…and then I found Soraya. When I first visited Soraya for my consultation she examined my face and the texture of my hair and said laser will not work for you. Finally! Someone who doesnt preach to laser as the end all be all solution for hair removal. She then went on to explain how the laser works best on coarse hair but that the hair on my face was too fine for the laser to be effective and that it was actually stimulating hair growth. I didnt want to admit this to myself after spending thousands on laser hair removal over the course of the years but she was right. Given my experience, I still had my reservations and knew that the true test would be in the results.Ive been seeing Soraya for about 3 months now and the hair is FINALLY not growing back and for the first time in my adult life, Im not embarrassed to have my hair up (especially in bright light).
