Went today for my birthday. The lady tells me to go up stairs and takes me straight to the room. I change out of my clothes in the massage room. The massage was ok. Then when the massage is over she tells me ok you can go down stairs and pay. What?!? No robe no relaxation after the massage. Im highly highly disappointed. Worst birthday booking Id have to say.

So, here we are. Several visits in. Still incredible. They let me reschedule last minute.

**This is an update to previous review- last week my boyfriend and I went a second time to get a duet massages and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. The front desk attendant made sure we had a locker reserved, with our names on a sign hanging from the locker, robes awaiting us, and drinks brought directly to our room. The massage therapists, Kelsie & Nancy, I believe, were excellent. We both left feeling relaxed mind & body. Thank you to the manager (Emily, I think) for going out of her way to make sure we were accommodated. Everyone was awesome and the experience was what makes The Woodhouse a step above other spas.—————————————Original Post Below:I normally do not leave negative reviews for businesses, but I thought this might be helpful for the spa to be aware of a few hiccups I came across during my last visit. My partner and I booked a few different services together this past weekend, April 10th (then again for me on the 11th dur to availability). First off I want to say that our massage therapist, Regina, was amazing! We both had so many knots and she did a great job of working them out. She was very sweet and informative. I would definitely come request her again. Unfortunately, the overall experience at the spa was disappointing. I have been a loyal client of Woodhouse for over 10 years. I have even made a point to go do Woodhouse spas in other locations. I lived in the DFW area for several years so Ive gone to different spas due to availability, but based on past experience, none ever compared to the Woodhouse treatment. For me, the Woodhouse sets the bar for what all other spas should aspire to. I have always had such great customer service and care at the locations Ive gone to, Victoria or otherwise. We booked our appointments well in advance and were so looking forward to that experience at the Main St location to celebrate our anniversary. This past weekend did not meet those standards, though. We arrived early for our appointments, were taken upstairs to fill out paperwork in the quiet room and sat there for about 30 minutes in our regular clothes and werent checked on again until it was time for my boyfriends massage. While the front desk receptionist was nice, she didnt show us to the locker room to put away our belongings, offer us robes and slippers to change into, or even showed us to the bathroom- which I later had to go find myself. My boyfriend had a 90 minute massage so I sat in the quiet room during that time, not once was I checked on for drink refill or just to make sure I didnt need anything. It wasnt until after my boyfriends massage when the front desk receptionist came up to get him for his next service that she asked me if I needed a refill. The last time I went to the Woodhouse, about a year ago, was at the Highland Village location and the level of care and customer service was excellent, I would expect the same, if not better from the city that Woodhouse originated from. This was my partners first time at Woodhouse and although the massages were excellent, the experience overall was disappointing. Im aware that there are Covid protocols in place right now, but I found out after the fact that robes, slippers, and locker room access are currently being offered at the Victoria locations. I guess we were just overlooked. Its also worth noting that there were no other customers that we saw during the hours that we were there. Perhaps some of the customer service staff was new and simply forgot about those basic things, so if thats the case, I hope your staff gets the proper training to provide those basic customer service needs for the future.

I love The Woodhouse Day Spa. Their customer service is professional and friendly. They always send out timely reminders via email and text. I have had my last 2 massages with Julia at the Main Street location; she is AMAZING!! I woke myself up snoring at least 4 times during the Woodhouse Escape massage. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and their raspberry tea is great!

I am extremely happy with my massage experience! I ordered the Swedish massage and it was very relaxing and peaceful. The therapist made me feel comfortable. I was experiencing neck problems that was keeping me from sleeping well. After the massage, I had the best sleep in a long time with no neck pain. I highly recommend Woodhouse Day Spa!

Woodhouse Spa is a wonderful facility. The atmosphere is so relaxing & staff are very pleasant. I live in another city but while visiting my daughter here once I went in. Now I am able to use the web site to buy gift certificates for her and give a Great gift & its so easy.Thank you & do give them a try, you wont be disappointed.Brenda Bell

Brought my wife here for her birthday. They were very helpful to me when it came to scheduling the appointment and when it came to my wife, they were top notch. Got my wife the works and didnt cost as much as I thought it would have. They even offered me some services which was surprising. We had a great experience and hope to bring her back to them soon, thank you ladies of woodhouse for all your hard work.

Take a day to pamper yourself at the Woodhouse Day Spa! The building is beautiful and the invironment so very relaxing in every way. I had the most wonderful time! I felt very pampered and catered to the entire time. The massage was heavenly and had me so relaxed for the facial! Brittany did an amazing job treating my face to the best care ever! And to finish it off, I had a pedicure with hot rocks that still looks great! Everyone was so friendly, the service excellent! I told my family that anytime anyone ask what they could get me for a gift to please remember, I want a spa day!!!!!

No matter what treatment, from the Agave Nectar Pedicure to The Woodhouse Escape, I feel pampered and relaxed. Even if its your first visit to a spa, the entire staff is friendly and informative. They make you feel right at home. The Estheticians and Massage Therapists are knowledgeable and professional. My favorite treatment is the Volcanic Stone Massage.I highly recommend visiting The Woodhouse Day Spa to anyone looking to renew their mind, body, and soul. With so many locations, if you dont have a Woodhouse at home, be sure to check for one the next time youre on vacation.

My favorite place!! A trip to The Woodhouse is always a relaxing and therapeutic experience! My favorite is the Neck, Back and Shoulder Massage - it always helps to take the stress away! I also like to add on the foot Reflexology...it is so soothing it can put you to sleep!

Really enjoy the couples massages. Its a great escape from everyday stresses and an amazing experience everytime. Both locations are wonderful. And the staff is always so kind.

DO NOT GO HERE! If you have any intention of getting a good shellac manicure, this is not your place. My manicure ended up being streaked, my nails were not filed evenly, and my nails broke shortly after. Safe yourself the trouble, and money, and DO NOT GO!

My experience at the woodhouse spa was not what I thought it would be. I got the Organic sugar scrub which in my opinion was not all that great. I felt like I was getting a basic $25 pedi. My experience was nothing special and overpriced. I wont ever go back there.

I have gone to the Woodhouse Day Spa for many years now. I have loved each experience I have received and would recommend it to anyone.

I recently planned my first trip to the Woodhouse after deciding that I was done with shaving my lady parts. Of course, I like to read reviews on anyplace before I decide to make an appointment to have my hair ripped from such a sensitive area, but to my surprise, the Woodhouse had a review on everything BUT waxes. Eventually, I decided to just do it anyway and chose to go with the full Brazilian.Upon my arrival, I was greeted by very friendly and welcoming receptionists, who offered me something to drink (raspberry tea is definitely the way to go!), and then led me upstairs to wait for my esthetician to come get me. I had the pleasure of having Maghan perform my wax, and I must say, she was fantastic! She knew how nervous I was and talked me through the entire thing with meaningless girly conversations about boys and whatnot. By the end of my wax, I felt as though we had been friends all along!Overall, the experience was wonderful and I will definitely be returning for another wax by Maghan!

Nice calm atmosphere, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because last time I went I felt like my knots werent worked out well enough and the pressure wasnt as much as needed, but might be because of what I requested.I dont get massages all the time, how am I to know?
