I would tell anyone wanting to sell there item at an auction not to do it. Your item will sell way way undervalued. You will make 75 percent more if you sell it yourself. If you are looking to buy items at this auction it is a good idea. You will buy someones nice items really really cheap.
I never was asked to sign an agreement/contract OR was I asked if any items were to have a reserve amount placed on them. Items that were sold were way below an anticipated price and these items were sold with out my permission at such a ridiculous price! Eric is a con artist and shyster and I am reporting him to the Better Business Bureau. I would advise anyone to stay as far away as possible from this business.
We sent antiques and vintage pieces that were titled wrong and did not get the bids they could have had they been listed properly from the start. I wrote them asking them humbly to please fix the titles, which they did begrudgingly, but it was done the night before the auction. They never once offered and explanation or answered the email. One item was 40 years old and never sat in by anyone without the plastic on. We removed the plastic right before we handed it over for them to sell and they took pics with a dog lounging in it. I love my rescued dogs but not everyone takes kindly to animals in their furniture and I feel it could have deterred potential clients from bidding on a pristine, retro chair. All in all our experience was not great. I have been around auctions for many years, I know the chances you take when you leave your stuff with them but I also never expected them to not care much about what they got for my items or treat us like we were bothering them with our goods. I do not usually write reviews but the experience we had with these folks merited it.
Nice people and honest to deal with.
