This place will NEVER accept fault or give an apology or try to accommodate for their mistakes. we had ordered latex balloons and numbers for pick up. already, we had to wait 20 mins and then they tell me the number balloons were not on the receipt so they were not able to do anything about it. there were THREE of us who ordered it together. and obviously the cashier messed up and didn’t charge us for it at the time of the order. so that’s already their fault. but i explain that to them and all they did was shrug their shoulders and say “i don’t see it on the receipt, we have a delivery to do and it’ll be an hour for it.” clearly they’re so incapable of understanding that they messed up and fixing THEIR mistake, like a GOOD customer service would. would NOT recommend this place at all due to their lack of ability of owning up to their mistakes.

Store is rearranged. More spacious, = less options 😕👎.1/4-1/3 of space dedicated to halloween. 😕😞

I placed a order for some of those big number balloons in store. The lady asked me the color and numbers while checking out the other party supplies I had. We confirmed date and time for the pick up. When the day came, they said I never ordered because they weren’t on the receipt. I was so upset because I was really looking forward having those as part of the decoration I planned!!! The staff was pretty rude with me and my friend and kept repeating “it’s not on the receipt, so you won’t get them”. Very disappointed they didn’t offer to help or make up for it and kept asking me to come back later because they were busy with something else, even though the party was only a few hours from that time……

Came here for 1st time trying to get some balloons for my daughter and guy told me that I could place the order and pick up until 5pm. Thats crazy went to the Gurnee location and I got them right away service much better too.

Nice place for all party supplies. Lots of options. Party supplies for all occasions and all age groups. Lots of return gift options. Lots of candy options. Well located and ample parking space.

Very friendly staff. I usually get greeted when I walk right in. They have some cool stuff for certain holidays like St. Patricks Day. They also have a lot of different balloon options. They could expand their gift bag selections though. Overall, they have a lot of different options for different themed parties.

Natt did an amazing job helping me choose and arrange balloon bouquets for my baby shower! They were ready for pick up on time the next morning. A+ service!

Went in to make a ballon order on Saturday morning. All I can recommend it to make order online. The new girl on the register had my order all wrong. She was getting to backup from other employees or the manger. Manager was more interested in filling balloons than training his new employee. Can visible see how stressed the cashier was having no idea what to do.

The store is wonderful. They are forever short on staff. I am only writing this review because its upsetting that the corporate office does not recognize the staff shortage year after year. It makes it very hard to leave with a smile when you are spending long periods of time for help from staff... whether its balloons or just to check out.

Liz and crew did it again! Chicago stores sold out of graduation decorations, balloons and helium. Called Vernon Hills store, young lady tried to walk me thru online purchase but the system wouldn’t let me complete the order. Liz approved the order and had everything waiting for me when I arrived. I got some candy for my son’s B-Day and in a million years I will though because it was for sale it was going to be uneatable the candy wrappers where discolored like they have been move many times they taste old and there was no way I will give that away to Children, the chewy candy was hard as a rock, the chocolate was gross seriously there is a point where you need to stop selling candy even if is with a discount or free.

This place has so much to explore, and so many great options at reasonable prices.I have purchased catering items for various demo chef events and there is always a great selection and something new to consider. The shelves are always fully stocked. I have purchased Halloween masks for murder mystery events and the masks have always received great reviews.Whether a birthday party, a cooking demo, backyard BBQ or Halloween murder mystery, Party City has something fun to enhance and complete your event.

Great store. It was the first time I have been in this store. I was in the area for other things and decided to stop in. It is larger than the one I usually go to and WOW what a great selection of holiday items. I found everything I was looking for and the staff was very helpful. Also met some nice customers who were looking for specific items..we sort of helped each other with ideas. It is easy to see from Rte 60...there is a sign by the road that lists all the stores. If you are planning events, need holiday items, or just to browse, you have to stop in.

Great assortment of party supplies for everything. Theyve got you covered for babys first birthday and cartoon themed big kid parties to annual holidays and retirement celebrations. Helium balloons, serverwhere, candy, grab bag toys, decorations, invitations, tableware, confetti,.. they have everything neat and organized. Friendly staff too. Ive never had a complaint with service or quality of merchandise.

Huge store, they had a big selection of costumes unfortunately they didnt have the sizes that we wanted. I believe they should update with a post it or something so people dont wait around for someone to help them then to be let down or have disappointed kids that the store doesnt have their size in stock.

Worst experience ever! Went there to buy Halloween costumes for boys. Waited over 20 minutes to get items. One of accessories was priced 9.99, charged me 12.99. I asked number of times to check the price. Lady at cash register didnt even answer me. After she scanned 25% coupon, she called up store manager to make change to 9.99. Manager came up changed the price from 9.74 (25%off) to 9.99 and left. I asked what ??? She came back and changed it back to 12.99 and applied 25%off again... it is supposed to be 7.49 after 25% off. It doesnt matter how much I pay. it was just $2 difference. But the way they responded to their customer was just SUCKS! I went in to have fun with boys, left got all red!

Absolutely horrific place to shop. It appears store manager hates this place. I waited in line, and he started helping people that were not waiting in line. When I asked him why he is doing that he ignored me 3 times. When I was leaving the store I asked him for his supervisors number, he barked check online. Then he sarcasticly said have a good day. This place is not worth one star.
