I originally called in late April to have my riding lawn tractor repaired .Insignificant parts were back ordered delaying the repair Numerous chats .telephone calls were useless, Finally tech person arrived and installed the parts . Engine started and tech left. Next day engine did not start I called the useless telephone number and I am still waiting for the repair. Over a month and sill not resolved Do not use this service.
I would have loved to give this a 1-Star review based off of my experience with the Sears Home Warranty I purchased in November of 2017. Before I get into the details, I will say that I gave a 2 star because the Sears Mechanic that was sent was a 5 start mechanic. At the time I purchased this warranty, I specifically requested that it cover all my appliances, including my water heater and furnace/air conditioning. I specifically mentioned to the person that I wanted the water heater covered since it was old. What I was sold and what I asked for are two separate things. I was sold a warranty on appliances only that did not cover the big expenses. Shame on me for not reading the details.Fast forward to my recent issue where my A/C went out and I needed service, July 21st, 2020... My experience with the customer service phone number was atrocious. My first call was over 1 hour and 16 minutes, and during that time, I talked to 5 different people. The operators must know their system by now and know that if they put you on hold, after a couple minutes, it will kick you back to the main number and make you start all over again. This happened to me 4 times until I finally requested PLEASE DO NOT PUT ME ON HOLD WHATEVER YOU DO! Each of the 5 conversations required me to deal with multiple quality issues with the phone call. 10 second delays, static sounds, tunnel sounds, etc... I was barely able to maintain conversation most of the time. The last person I spoke with, I requested to speak to a supervisor and was basically told good luck, they probably will not call you back that person was correct, it has been 7 days since the phone call and no one has called me back. To add insult to injury, I was hoping for some sort of resolution on my warranty and the customer service rep informed me that I would get a 25% discount on my repair since I had the cheaper appliance warranty. When I asked my mechanic where the repair discount was, I was told that I had to file for the discount on-line and get reimbursed by Sears since they sell my warranty to a 3rd party shortly after I purchase it (not just me, everybody). So, buyer beware, you are not even covered by Sears, you are covered by a 3rd party warranty company...Again, mechanic was 5 star. He knew exactly what he was doing, diagnosed and repaired the A/C quickly, and was a true professional. The warranty... Dont waste your money... $1,600 paid over 32 months... What a waste
The service person was professional, courteous, and interacted well on my behalf with the original manufacturer. The part which was defective was still under warranty and was replaced by the manufacturer.
The technician was on time and helpful. He was professional and showed me how to care for my appliance.
Repair man (Alex) was very professional and his technical skills were very good.
Unable to get anyone from sears warranty department to assist with repairing/replacing kenmore refridgerator that stopped working less than 3 years after purchase even though paid for extended warranty coverage
Service appointment was easy. Technician found the problem and fixed the unit. He was excellent. My problem was the bill. $462 for labor. He was here about 90 minutes. He did reduce the charge with a coupon. It was like they raised the charge and then lowered it to make you feel good. Tried contacting their Chat. That was no help and they gave me two disconnected numbers. Tried calling their billing department. Never could get thru. So the rating is 5 for service and minus 1 for business practices.
It took them 3 appointments over a span of almost 2 months. to finally get all the parts. Apparently my motor had to be replaced. Even after that, when the repair was done, the dishwasher did not work as expected. It started causing circuit breaking and fuse tripping. If you call for an appointment, you cannot get it at least until it is 2-3 weeks out. Then they forget to order all parts, then they repair one problem and cause another one.Really bad work overall and bad experience.
Everything was great. Sears guy arrived on time. Wore a mask. Did what he had to do. Which was a yearly maintenance on the central air conditioning unit. Departed.
Recently we had two service visits. Top notch service. Scheduling was easy, we received updates by phone and email, techs showed up on time, did their work expertly and left the area clean. Excellent!
Prompt service. My fridge compressor had died. The Sears repair tech had it up & running with an hour. Great service.
Thank you -
We have a Sears warranty on our three-year-old dishwasher. The dishwasher was not filling with water. The repair person was on-time and polite. He replaced the water valve on the dishwasher but said that there were several parts failing inside and he would have to have Sears Warranty let us know if they would cover them. He said the dishwasher outtake had grease and meat in the pipe and we might not be covered for the failing parts since he thought we were misusing the dishwasher. I cleaned the dishwasher on a regular basis and as far as I know, we were not putting grease down the pipe and into the dishwasher filter. He said the dishwasher was not repaired without additional parts but thought Sears would probably cover them. So after an hour of waiting on hold, and another 1/2 hour, the Warranty representative said they would not replace any more parts. She could not tell me what parts were failing because the technician did not put it in his report. She said that we could have another technician out at our expense to diagnosis the problem parts and replace them ourselves also at our cost. Needless to say, since we do not know what the problem is nor do we have a remedy, we will be replacing a three-year-old Kenmore with any brand that is not Sears-affiliated. We have bought Sears appliances for most of our 25 year marriage. The repair guy did not identify the problem parts, just that it is our fault. So, we are moving our business elsewhere.
Great.
This repair took less than five minutes to do and cost the entire $99.00 service charge. In addition, it was the second day that one of us had to stay home from work to wait on service as the first day no one showed up at all (and service stated that we were not home when the service person arrived ). The service person was pleasant and knew what he was doing but there should have been some price adjustment for being a day late and for such a minor repair. This concerns me since I have a kitchen full of Kenmore Elite appliances!
We have been trying for over a month to get service. Multiple phone calls from me. Promises to call to schedule. One appointment finally made and service person was no show. Extremely frustrated.
On time, parts in the truck, fast and professional service for a 62 year old washing machine :)
Im actually rating customer service as a zero stars. I paid for the warranty on 6/20 because the gentleman that came to fix my washing machine said they would replace any appliance if they couldnt fix it. Sears has sent people to fix the washing machine at least 6 times. Itll work for one or two loads and break. Ive called and spoke to so many people because they continue to transfer me to other departments. No one in customer service or the other people from the other departments know what to do and I feel dont want to help. Beware of the sales pitch that makes it sounds so easy. They took my money easily but getting this taken care of has been so frustrating.
The repairman came out fixed the dryer, very nice and professional. We were reluctant to call Sears at first because ours closed, but I can now tell you I will have no reservations in the future. They were just as good as they always have been.
Not happy - Technician came out and refused to work on the cooktop that was installed by Sears claiming that the power whip is too short. Claims I need an electrician to come in and extend the power cable. So now I have to fork over $$$ to correct something that Sears should have done on installation or the technician is not prepared to work on the unit if its not convenient for him - Sears Service sucks! This is my second cooktop installation with them - 1st was a warranty replacement and NIGHTMARE of service visits.I do not want to go through this again!
The serviceman was 45 minutes late. Then he decided my refrigerate was too heavy for him to move. He just left! Did do the work to fix anything! He was even rude to me! I took the day off of work for nothing! Terrible service!
I love this place, sad to say but this branch is totally CLOSED
Really easy to schedule apt. online; came SAME DAY. Knowledgeable tech. who fixed washer n.p. Also serviced dryer and I am glad he did...lots of lint buildup IN the machine and not reachable by my vacuum. I would use again.
Technician called to confirm time. Explained in detail issues with units. No major repairs needed at this time. Very polite. Have used Sears previously for maintenance. Highly recommend!
Super fast availability. Prompt arrival with phone call, email notice. Professionalism. Knowledge courtesy. Were able to diagnose the problem and had it repaired within 30 minutes. Thank u. Will most definitely use again
Absolutely one of the best repair service experiences I have had. Scheduled an appointment online which was very easy and Sears sent me a confirmation email and also let me know when the technician was on his way. Technician (Enrique) was friendly, knowledgeable and not only replaced my dishwasher springs but went above and beyond by taking the time to inspect the dishwasher motor and remove broken glass that he found. I would absolutely recommend Sears appliance repair.
The Sears tech quickly assessed the trouble we were having with our dryer (thankfully it was a very minor issue), corrected the problem, and offered useful advice for future maintenance. He was even friendly with our dog! We were very satisfied with the service he provided.
The repair person called to tell me he had arrived. He was professional, courteous, friendly and most important knowledgeable about the repair. He went about his work and immediately identified the problem, made the repair and cleaned the area when finished. He suggested that I have my dryer checked for a small additional fee. That service removed built up lint that could have been problematic. The lint was removed and the area cleaned. This service guy deserves recognition as someone who exemplifies great service personnel.
Back in February my eight year old Miser 9 series water heater pilot light failed. I called Sears and they Excellent service, very reasonable. Service tech Lincoln was very professional and courteous, in and out in about an hour.
They cant fix the problem on 1st appointment and theres even a 4-hour window for them to advise you when they are exactly coming to your place .. 4hour? thats too long. and of course, you take a half day off to accommodate them then technician comes 4:30pm. Technician replaced the fuse and recommended to clean vent.. The technician wont check other problems. After cleaning the vent, we had to set another because the dryer is not heating after 1 use. 2nd appointment- another 4 hour window and another half day off from work. Now, the technician replaced the coil and said that it should have been replace before and recommended another cleaning of vent. We paid another diagnostic fee because technician said it is not related to the 1st problem. Now, inside vent and outside vent have been cleaned. The dryer is not drying the igniter is on and off. now, we need to set another appointment - 3rd time. Not know yet what will be the diagnosis. I guess what I am trying to say is .. dont get Sears for your repair work. if you sum the charges, you could have purchased a new item and save your time too!
Repairs required two visits; first to assess and order new parts, second to install. Repairman arrived on time both times. Of particular note: their IVR system is the first one Ive ever seen thats actually intelligent.
Technician was very personable, professional, and courteous. He worked on my rider mower for 20 minutes...replaced both blades. He offered me a coupon to cut down the total cost. After applying the coupon the cost was $206!!! the cost of the labor to replace the blades was $159...pro-rated that comes out to $477 per hour!!!! Great service, RIDICULOUS price!!!
So convenient. Technician arrived promptly and was professional and courteous. Fixed our snow blower and explained what was done. So happy I found this service. Will definitely use again
Tony did a great job diagnosing and repairing my oven. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Will definitely ask for him next time!
The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. Very pleased with both the service and the result! Keep it up Sears! You have been reliable for years!
The service man did not clean up after himself, could have cared less. He was an awful person. Left his garbage in my machine and in my house, with an excuse that it was presents for me. What a lazy person. Anything to get out of working. So disgusted. I am glad I dont have to buy anything else from Sears.
This is the fifth appointment for the same issue. Sears took it upon themselves to reschedule two of them and they were late for the other three. We thought the fifth time was the charm, until I went to use my dishwasher and water started pouring out of the bottom of the machine. I have now been without a dishwasher for going on six weeks. Not happy.
Sears was great in sending appointment reminders via phone, text and email. They let me know when the serviceman was coming on his way, and then he called to let me know. The repair and maintenance work was done in a timely manner.
I had a 17-year-old hot water heater that was still covered by an extended Sears warranty. When it started to leak, I was hopeful that the warranty would cover a replacement, but skeptical that it would actually work out. I’m pleased to say that the replacement and installation went smoothly and flawlessly. The first step was calling the 800 number, telling them about the problem, and arranging for an inspection. The inspector showed up on time, took pictures and videos, and got the replacement approved. He then told me I would receive a call at a certain time about delivery of the replacement unit; that call came on time. Finally, I was supposed to receive a call telling me when the actual installers/subcontractors would arrive and what potential extra charges would be; that went off without a hitch as well. They matched the features and capacity of my existing unit. Very impressed that Sears still has this aspect of their business working smoothly and efficiently.
Jim was very professional and did an excellent job. He is also a nice person with years of valuable experience. My dishwasher works great now. My extended warrantee really paid off.
This is repair service is a scam.... they jack up prices on parts to get you to buy a new product instead. I found the exact part they tried to sell for half the price on sears own website. They also were charging me for a repair service. the repairman said if I wanted to buy the part on sears website and I could do it myself. So we went to ABT.
We waited till 8:00 for the tech to come out and tell us our fridge was low on freaon. That was 48 hours after another tech had replaced the compressor, the condensor and done a $1000 service call. We now have another technician coming out today to fix what the other two couldnt.
The service was good. However, I am disappointed that I have never been notified each year that its time for my appliance service check. You guys should notify your customers and be pro-active instead of hoping the customers dont remember or are not aware.
The range was fixed and the man was very courteous.
Technician called to let me know he was 15 minutes from arrival and was here on time. Asked me what was wrong and I explained that the dishwasher was filling with water within 48 hours after last run. I said we had same problem with the washing machine and it was the water in let value. He said that is what is wrong and to replace it is $250 including the part, labor and diagnostic charge. I did have a 20 % off coupon so I said go ahead and fix it. I still thought this was a lot of money when the part cost $53. But it now works fine.
Your serviceman arrived early in the promised timeframe, was very courteous, quick, and efficient. The repair--with the coupon that Sears emailed to us--cost less than expected, and the repair has held up. Great job!
My appointment was confirmed and I received text reminders. My technician was very polite, he was on-time and called before coming. This repair experience was painless!
Tech called with my time window, explained the likely repair item and cost, was very helpful during the repair process. 5 STAR service!!!! Thanks for making the repair of my Craftsman snow thrower quick and painless. Todd
Our Technician diagnosed the problem and explained how to correct it. It just required a thorough cleaning with special detergent which he had packets and provided them to us for a reasonable price. My wife and I are quite pleased with your service:)
The repair of my oven was scheduled for Monday, April 2, between 8 and 12. When the repairman did not arrive or call by 1PM, I called Sears. The repair man, Jim, called me back and said that he had computer problems in the morning and would be there before 3. At 4:30, I called Sears again. Jim again called me back and said that he would not be able to come Monday but would reschedule. That was not acceptable to me, so He finally cane about 5:30.My repair man, Jim, was a joke. He came on Monday, pulled the oven out, and said it needed a new heating element. He checked nothing else.I was told to call when I received the part, which I did. Jim came back on Friday, April 6 and put the new heating element in. Once again he was scheduled to come between 8 and 12. At 12:30 I called again and Sears said he would be there between 3 and 5. I decided to run some errands. At 12:40, Jim called to say he was on his way. I said that Sears had just called and said he would be at my home between 3 and 5. He replied that he had changed his route. I said that was not acceptable and that I would be home between 3 and 5. Jim came out and put in the new heating element. The oven did heat for a few minutes when he was here. Later that evening, when I turned on the oven, NOTHING!!So, I called Sears again. On Monday, April 9th, Jim came out. He pulled the oven out, tested the new element and the old element (both tested as being operable) and checked several other things including the 220 voltage, which did not have needed output. He went down in the basement, checked the panel, etc. He suggested I get an electrician in to check wiring, etc. I have an electrician coming Friday. If thats not the problem, Dan said they would come back and check the computer on the oven. Dan did a much more thorough diagnosis than Jim din.I feel that Jim was either lazy or did not have the knowledge needed to check all the components. Ill let you know what the electrician discovers..I pay about $800+ for the Sears Whole Home Maintenance Agreement, or whatever it is called. I have had the Sears man out 3 times and have been without an oven for 11 days now. I expect, and used to receive, much better service that I received this time.
The repairman was knowledgable and quick. The original service call was to be on the following Monday. I was thrilled when I received a call asking if I would like it moved up three days.
The service experience was unacceptable. The technician failed to arrive within the given four-hour window and didnt have the courtesy and dignity to contact me that s/he wouldnt make the assigned appointment. The dispatch center indicated that the technician noted that he arrived two hours, forty-one minutes late. To the contrary, the technician didnt show up at all for the originally scheduled appointment. My tenant was waiting all day. The appointment was rescheduled for the following week and my tenant was without needed service over the weekend.
Everything was great - on time and quick repair
Oven repair required new electronics. Repair man did an outstanding job. Highly recommend Sears Repair.
One of the few extended warranties Ive taken out that was worth it, all repair has been carried out in a timely and professional manner, easy to arrange too.
Technician was punctual, respectful, completed the annual maintenance and provided recommendations. Was a good value.
Service tech Roland showed up 1.5 hours before the service window, and was upset when no one was home, stating we would have to reschedule for another day. he eventually decided to come back during the agreed time window, and was very rude because of the hassle to him. based on his later service appointments, we realized he was just trying to end his day early by getting the houses farthest from his own home completed early in the day -- despite the time frame Sears actually gave him and us.
I called for a routine maintenance check. I had no problem with the washing machine. After the check, my washer squeaked on every rotation. I called again. Two techs arrived. Now the machine squeaks louder and vibrates while washing. ???
Technician showed up on time and prepared, repaired belt on Zero Turn mower. I used it a few hours later and the belt fell off. Since I now knew what was causing the mower to not move and where it was. I repaired myself. Called sears to request an adjustment to $200 charge and they never responded. I think they provided some value but I had to spend an additional 45 minutes fixing their fix.
The repairman was friendly and appeared to know what he was doing. However, while the refrigerator did cool back down, it did not stop at the appropriate point. Now the refrigerator cools down to 26! I called the repair service and they are sending someone to work on it some more. I have paid over $400 so far, and the confirmation of appointment indicated that there was a minimum charge of about $100 for this upcoming visit plus any parts that may be required. I told the service that the repairman had been here the day before and there was supposed to be a 90-day guarantee. At this rate I could have almost bought a new refrigerator! Will see what happens tomorrow!
The guy who came was very professional and did an excellent job.(The phone connection with the oversees call center was bad each time that I called. The folks are nice, but they seem to be required to repeat everything I say and are sometimes difficult to understand.)
I made my service appointment with Sears. They told me my service window was between 1 - 5 pm. The technician showed up to fix my dryer almost an hour late. He was very polite and tightened up the six loose screws in approximately 5 minutes. I encountered the same problem when I had all of my appliances serviced under their Protection Agreement. I had a 1-5 pm service window but the last tech showed up 2 1/2 hours late. The technicians themselves have always been nice, polite and proficient but if youre going to use them, plan on wasting a day.
Knowledgeable repair person and quick diagnosis of problem Area left clean after completed. ( 5 stars!!! Yay!)I found the scheduling of the repair irritating, asked a ton of questions trying to troubleshoot the problem, as if they were trying to save a trip. Thats the reason I have a warranty.
The repair took only 20 minutes to complete, and I was told that the part cost only $.04, but the labor was $300. The refrigerator compartment is still frosted up 5 days after they completed the repair. This is the 2nd time in the last 6 months that this same repair has been done on our refrigerator that is only 18 months old, and LG has honored no warranty for either repair. I am totally dissatisfied with LG and its poor quality and worthless warranty and with Sears for their costly repair.
It was very bad experience.I dont want that repair guy in my house again.First, He came in my house...he was looking around my house....and when he starting to look my freeze he drop one of part from my freeze and it was chipped. And he said its not from freeze. But I have that little piece and for sure its from freeze. And He over charge me for just loosen part. He just tighten connection and he charge me $109.It was really bad experience with sears repair guy.I dont want to give any star but without click the star I can not post this.
The technician was on time and very knowledgeable. Gave us some useful tips on how to maintain our exercise bike and we were satisfied with the work
Awful service experience. The technician either stole my credit card number or sold the information to someone else. On the date of service I was given a paid receipt showing my credit card was charged the $210.79 total. Two weeks later in the mail I received a collection notice saying my card was declined and that I owed the $210.79 total. When I called Sears they advised I write a letter to THEIR collection company to dispute the transaction. No one could tell me if in fact I had an outstanding balance. After this experience and inconvenience I will no longer be using this service.
Technicician was great. As soon as he heard the washing macine he knew what the problem was. Even though I did not buy my washing machine at Sears the tech had the new motor on his truck and was able to fix it right away. And for me, thats exactly what I was looking for... I have an 8 month old baby, a 16 year old daughter and a husband whos in the underground sewer and water business... so the laundry piles up fast and sometimes its very dirty, getting the machine up and running the same day was AWESOME!!The tech was very nice and very helpful!! I am very happy with the outcome!!
I was told that a technician would arrive and he would be able to evaluate many many complaints about my through the wall heater to determine whether it would be replaced. Instead the same technician who has been to my home at least 4 times in the past 6 weeks arrived. He previously has told me that he does not have the authority to make such an evaluation. He replaced a gasket and the motherboard blew and now needs replacement. It will be ordered on Monday from the manufacturer. Within the past 6 weeks, the motor and fan have been replaced, a gasket and now the motherboard. The cost would have been almost $1,000 had I not had a maintenance agreement. Sears had and will continue to spend money down its drain on this unit. Isnt it time for a replacement?
The technician was on time, did a good job and gave me tips on how to keep my washer and dryer running smoothly.
My service tech (Im so sorry I cant remember his name) was great. He found the problem, & when told the part wasnt in stock, he ordered it & had it shipped directly to our house on the same day. He then returned that evening & replaced the broken piece. I cant believe he did this without having to schedule another appointment. I cant rave about him enough.
Sears repair guy was experienced, competent, funny and had the parts with him. He knew what the problem was and fixed it right away. Excellent experience.
Very prompt and very professional. Service tech was very knowledgeable and polite.
Repairman was on time and performed diagnosis and completed repair in timely manner. He was courteous and made sure work area was clean before leaving
Service Tech was very nice, he explained all my options and finished in a timely manor.
My refrigerator repair man was very accommodating and gave me a great deal of confidence that my issue (replacing a broken door catch) would be done right. Thank you.
Quick Appointment and issue was resolved in the first trip. Online chat help was wonderful aswell.
The repairmen were out 4 times in over a month to repair the upper rack in my Kenmore Ultra dishwasher. It kept falling off the rollers unto the bottom rack and was unusable. After the 4th time, my daughter looked at the rack and noticed something that she pointed out to me. She had found the problem that the repairmen missed all 4 times. I took photos of the rack that showed what was wrong. I called Sears Warrantee unit who said they would send out a repair kit that I could probably install myself. After waiting about two weeks or so, I called the unit again and they told me that the kit was never ordered but that the repairmen would put it in. I was told the repairmen would call me later that day. It has been about 2 days now and no one has called me.I am disgusted at this lack of service and certainly NOT the we service what we sell Sears I remember from growing up. Management, get involved in this. This is another reason customers are leaving Sears.
Love the great attitude that is shown with each and every visit. Sears is the first call I make when an appliance goes wrong.
Our refrigerator stopped working so I called Sears to get it repaired. The tech was onsite within 3 days. He established a couple of parts needed to be repaired so he ordered them and said they would be delivered in 3-5 business days. About a week later a part arrived and then the tech was able to come onsite again. We established one of the parts didn’t get ordered so needed to be reordered. I was annoyed because our fridge was not operational for 1 week and now I had to wait another week. During the week I called Sears to find out an ETA and tracking on the pending part. The representative based offshore told me that the part is on back order and there’s no ETA. In addition he stated that the part number the tech had ordered was incorrect and he could send me the correct one within 2 days but I need to pay over the phone. I had already paid $400 for parts and labor and wasn’t going to pay another penny until the fridge was repaired. I called the tech at the this point to tell him what the representative told me. I then got a call from a local representative confirming my appointment. I asked to speak to a manager and explained my frustration with my current parts on backorder. She disagreeed and said my order is on it’s way and there is no mistake. I clearly got bad information from the offshore representative. My part was delivered within the week and my fridge was operational after 2 weeks. My experience with Sears has been very frustrating, and stressful. I did think my tech was very professional and really tried to help, but the support was poor.
Im really pleased I called Sears to fix my Bosch oven. My service technician was professional, timely, polite, and informative.Thank you for your service and assistance!!
Sonny fixed my GE dishwasher in no time at all. So happy with Sears Appliance Repair every time Ive used them.
The second repair performed by the Home Warranty group was excellent, the tech was timely, communicative and got the job done quickly and correctly. While the initial contact and the confusion with the original appliance repair team is still in need of correction, the dryer is now fixed correctly and working well.
The technician showed his ID and took great care in cleaning my furnace, dating the new filter, etc.
Right on time; replaced washer switch; recommended dryer cleaning, which we didCompetent, courteous and professional
THE ONLY REASON THERE IS 1 STAR IS BECAUSE YOU CANT DO ZERO!This service is hit or miss. Sometimes you get great, quick, quality service. Other times, you wonder why even pay for this frustration? We are waiting on our 4th visit to fix a drippy ice maker in our Samsung fridge. In the 1st visit, the tech determined there was a rework order for this issue/model. Understandable. In visit 2, the tech tried to do the complete work, but there was a complication and he didnt want to force something, etc., so he said he was going to reschedule w/ a senior tech so they would safely complete the work. OK, but here is another weeks wait...We wait the whole service window for visit 3 without any call, juggling things so someone is never away from the phone. When I call in, it takes the agent 10-20 minutes to finally get the answer (EXCUSE) that there was a challenge because of the 2 techs coming, so the service rescheduled the appointment without telling us. Then, the 2 techs showed up late to that window!Everything seemed great, finally. The techs leave and there is no need in my mind to test anything and there is no ice made yet... BUT THE MOMENT I GO TO GET ICE, CLICK SOUND BUT NO MOTOR. GREAT, THE TECHS DIDNT CHECK THIS? Most likely, there is just something unplugged, but how frustrating!AND THEN YOU CALL IN TO SAY TO THE SERVICE YOU REALLY FD UP, AND THEY SAY, OH WE CAN SEND SOMEONE IN A WEEK! WHY NOT COME THE NEXT DAY AND FINISH THE WORK???AND THEN WHEN I HAD MY WIFE CALL THE NEXT MORNING TO RESCHEDULE, THE AGENT ACTUALLY TRIED TO IGNORE HER CALL BY STATING IT CAN TAKE 24 HOURS FOR THE ICE TO BE MADE. Of course, we had ice within just 1-2 hours -- just no working motor to deliver it outside of the fridge!SHE FINALLY GOT SOMEONE TO BLESS US WITH AN APPOINTMENT 6 DAYS AFTER THE FAILED APPOINTMENT INSTEAD OF 8 DAYS!WELL SEARS, 2.5 HOURS INTO 4TH WINDOW, AND WERE STILL WAITING FOR YOUR CALL... WILL YOU GET THIS RESOLVED???
Hanni was terrific got our A/C quickly up and running. Thanks...
Great job getting the part I needed for my refrigerator!
Set an appointment for an oven ignitor that wasnt working. The service was on time, thorough and done right. I would use Sears again.
Technician came out to repair washer. Was there for 1 hour. Replaced 2 parts. Washer is still broken. Within 2 minutes of him leaving I tried to run a load and the same issue existed. Im not sure why he came out, what he did, aside from waste my time, but the issue is not fixed. Waste of time and energy!!!
Repair guy (Michael) was just amazing. Professional, Competent, Friendly and Intelligent.
Sears personal were prompt and courteous. Now waiting for service to be resolved.
Fast no talking - no chit chat, got the job done and left,
Extremely pleased
Horrible! They deserve to go out of business! The paint on the inside of the washing machine had peeled and rusted, and rust was going on the clothing and ruining the material. First it took five calls for anyone to come out because the representative kept saying the problem was cosmetic and not mechanical. In reality the washer parts had been recalled but they were not going to tell us. Then we just called in for a service call. One week til first appointment. Parts were ordered and another appointment-after parts were mailed to our home. Service came out and said that the part was defective. Wait again another week. Then the wrong part came in wait another week for the part. There is no supervisor to speak to. Even service cannot give a number for someone to call and tell how horrible service was It took from before Thanksgiving until after Christmas for completion!!!The only reason there is one star is because I have to for posting. They dont deserve it.
He was so honest about our dryer and washer machines He fixed the dryer so fast
The technician did not repair my RUUD furnace saying that it is not covered in my maintenance agreement with Sears even though it is one of the items that is covered. I am very upset about that.
Service man Ricardo was as good as it gets. Fast, friendly, clean and fixed my problematic water heater on first try.
I was extremely disappointed by both Sears representative and the technician who visited. He opened and closed the dishwasher instead of performing a yearly cleaning that is the part of the Sears warranty agreement.
All the repair men who came do a wonderful job.
