Amanda is the best!! I get super chatty when Im nervous and she rolled straight through it with me. I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time she was waxing me and I will definitely be back in a few weeks.

I booked an appointment to get my brows waxed and tinted and my brows have truly NEVER looked better. Thank you so much, Kari! I already have another brow and Brazilian appointment booked for July. I also appreciate that they use a different wax that is designed to prevent breakouts and bacteria. My sensitive skin needs that!

I was a returning customer for over a year. I had a great experience until I was reprimanded for missing 2 appointments during the pandemic. I actually called and advised them of the situations. It was NOT a no call, no show by any means. Which I would understand if it were. I didnt even mind being charged for last minute cancelations when I did return. What I minded was the big issue made out of it. Being labeled a repeat offender and being told there would be consequences if it happened again. Ill will avoid all of that unpleasantness and inflexibility by going somewhere else.

Good of you to assume.. but here is my review!I have been waxed by two people before. The first one was amazing (Amanda) she is was extremely respectful and kind. The second person would not stop talking about her personal life and while I was in a very vulnerable position during my Brazilian wax, the waxer started expressing how she enjoyed Sticking d1ldos into women’s a$$’s.Imagine my surprise and how uncomfortable I was.Update: I was right to use a fake name to do a review seeing as how you are responding.I can only imagine how you would blast my personal info if I shared my name.Texting or calling you will not change my experience with the waxer. Amanda was an amazing waxer.

I got my first wax ever done here about two weeks ago. I went in first about a month ago and Amanda waxed a little bit of the area but the hair wasnt long enough to be waxed so she asked if I wanted to reschedule for two weeks out, and didnt charge me for the visit. I went in two weeks later to finish the wax and was so pleased with the result. The building was very sanitary too which was really nice. Amanda made sure I was very comfortable, she was extremely friendly and made conversation with me during the session which helped keep my mind off the pain. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Ive been seeing Anna for waxing for years. Ive recommended her to every friend thats ever expressed interest in waxing. Shes great and this shop is fabulous. Went, with some trepidation, expecting to be treated as old white men are now treated in all of neighboring Portland, with distaste and disdain. Was most pleasantly surprised. Amanda was welcoming, kind, cheerful, and warm. First time experience was so much better than I had anticipated, I am now kicking myself for having put it off. She listened to all my concerns with non-judgmental acceptance, and the overall experience was completely positive. The pain was minimal at best and Amandas ongoing conversation, focused on me, was a wonderful diversion. There should be some balance here: my only negative was her suggestion to return in about a month. I was hoping she would say every other day or so. Most highly recommended. I look forward to visiting with this pleasant, professional again.

Amanda was so great! She was professional and very skilled, yet she had the ability to keep the mood calm and relaxed throughout the procedure. She provided me with aftercare tips, so I went home knowing what to expect and how to handle it. I have had no problems at all, however, and am very pleased with the results. Id recommend Amanda to anyone!

Great experience with Kari for my first ever wax. Shes genuine, professional and keeps you talking to distract from the pain (as much as that is possible). The space is clean and inviting. I appreciate they dont discount their services with coupons or the like because it shows they place a high value on their skill. Overall, very happy and will be returning.

I first stumbled upon this group of amazing women several years ago. Ever since my first visit I knew I had found the only technicians I would ever go to. The reasons are simple:Their staff have incredible knowledge regarding before & after care, I trust in the products they use and appreciate the owners for standing with such a high quality product and business partners, and it seems as though we end up in conversations regarding anything & everything to the point where I forget I am being waxed! Sometimes I end up in tears-- not because Im in pain but because Ive been laughing so hard my eyes teared up. Their lobby has a comfortable atmosphere which provides positive & inspiring vibes, and Im always greeted with open arms- ingrown hairs and all.

I always appreciate a great wax. Let’s face it, it’s certainly not something a lot of women (or men for that matter), really look forward to. However, every time I see Kari, it makes me appreciate her and the salon that much more. Yes there are other places to go to in the area, but none of them can compare to the quality, service and comrade Netherlands Wax can provide. It’s like going to a good friends house and drinking wine. Only a little more painful but with more laughs.

Anna gave me the absolute best wax Ive ever had! As a blonde lady, often Ive had waxers miss entire patches of hair, even with an LED light directly overhead, and usually the borders are uneven. Anna is efficient, charming, and leaves a perfect edge. She expeditiously waxed and plucked my bikini line, and left me feeling so confident about my lady business. I know I will coming to see her for years to come!
