I called twice for for a friend. I asked if they were accepting new patients. They said yes. They forwarded me to a voice mail. No response. We called back two days later, same process. This was about a month ago. No response.

There was a guy without a mask talking to one of the staff and later the staff he was talking to said she didnt notice himwithout a mask. Then, she told me to wear a mask. I feel that I was being descriminated against because I am Hispanic.

In my opinion they should get better staff at the desk area it just feels so monotone and uncomfortable, but i absolutely love my therapist Amy. If you’re going here i recommend to see Amy, she is an absolute sweetheart, she helped me with my some of my issues and we’ve only had a couple appointments, but the staff at the front desk aren’t the kindest or friendliest and i get it but i think they need to get better staff for that area.

I wish i could have something nice to say about this place my wife goes there and it has helped her allot so i decided to go there myself as they offer all the services for both mental health and drug and alcohol treatment i called and had to wait 3 weeks for my intake and was just a few minutes late and i even called them and they said it would be ok I forgot my insurance card they were very rude to me about it and said i needed to reschedule and the closest appointment was an additional 5 weeks away so that would be 8 weeks from my original call for help. they have cancelled and rescheduled my wife appointments with almost no notice several times. i was so frustrated and for me these services are life or death. so sadly i will be finding another more understanding and compassionate place to get the help i need. i am still in awe about how rude and unprofessional they were especially to people who have depression anxiety and other mental health issues.

Have only been here 3 times. Our counselor Heather is compassionate and competent, wonderful. The waiting area needs improvement on providing a comfortable/clean space for those waiting. Improvements could start with the check in staff. Dont be on your cell phones or engaged in personal conversations with each other while ignoring those in line. If youre sick, you should stay home:/ Keep area wiped down and maybe put some reading materials / coloring books out, play some music, etc. Get creative. Just suggestions from someone with customer service background.

They need a child friendly receptionist. The older lady working in the childs area had the nerve to say I was yelling at my child. Im at a mental health facility. My child is add/ADHD and his behaviors are off the charts at times. Please find a new approach to your method. Maybe distract the child offer him some books. Dont shame the mother and make me feel bad for trying to discipline my child. Completely inappropriate. I do love the providers at this clinic. Nate is amazing and so is Dr. Sadik she is great. I was embarrassed of his behaviors and that didnt do anything but make me feel uncomfortable.

I have been in therapy since I was about twelve, I’ve seen a handful of therapists all from different astablishments throughout the years, I feel that it is not typically the astablishment that fails. If you want therapy to work for you it’s very much in your best interest to do your research - there is not a one size fits all.I started services here during a pretty horrific time in my life, I was scared to start going to therapy somewhere I was not particularly familiar with. I saw/read the reviews and decided to take a look for myself. I have been pleasantly surprised by this place. The counselor that I see does a fantastic job at giving me useful tips, listening to what I have to say, and helps me think outside of the box- and is very professional. I’ve never had to worry about privacy and confidentiality, or feeling ashamed for seeking help. The one negative thing that I can say is in my experience, while looking for a psychiatrist- the one I saw here wasn’t for me- though I am sure that other people may have a different experience. The psychiatrist that I saw was very professional and seemed to be experienced, however only offered 15 minute appointments after the initial intake. This may work for some people, however; I have found that I do require more time and communication in this area- so I just go somewhere else. But all in all this place is great and has changed my life! Don’t knock it unless you try it, and remember that you have to be involved in your mental health to get better❤️

I went through brain trauma and ended up with brain damage. I came to this place hurting, confused and hopeless. This place saved my life and gave me tools to deal with these issues. The staff and counselors had been very helpful. Nowhere is perfect but i went here for years. You get out what you put in. Give this place a chance. It can change your life.

It isnt always good for clients who already have abandonment issues about their psychiatrists leaving to not get a heads up until it is sprung on them the day of what they didnt realize was their last appointment with the doctor they FINALLY got comfortable with, because they were getting a new one in 3 months (when they are on a one-a-month schedule for a REASON). It is also ridiculous that the new psych can cancel the day of that first appointment for a dental emergency, but if a client has severe food poisoning where they almost go to the hospital, they are treated like liars, are lectured on the importance of not cancelling (but the doctor can?), and now the client has a hard time figuring out how to stretch 3 more days of PSYCHIATRIC medications to last until the 5th of Aug because she missed that appointment. When the clients fiance calls to cancel the appointment because the client is crying on the toilet with a garbage can between her knees, the office person INSISTS on talking to her. When the crying client asks why this cant be discussed with the person she signed numerous ROI forms for, the lady flippantly answers I didnt feel like digging it upyet. I signed that ROI about 5 times, another employee confirmed everything was on file after we called again about running out of meds before my appointment. I asked him to take care of it because I WAS CRYING/PUKING/S----ING, and perferred someone in a better mindframe to handle it. The lady treated me like I was lying to her about cancelling. I wish I was able to 20 question my new doctor like that when he cancelled on me first, if thats how Im going to get treated for something I didnt plan on. Trust me, Id rather take care of my mental health than spend my day sick and confined in the bathroom. If it werent for my amazing therapist, and fear of further games of Musical Psychiatrists at smaller places that take my insurance, Ill just have to continue to hope my mental wellbeing doesnt deteriorate further each time I get the guilt trip about my own emergencies while nodding and smiling when my life gets disrupted by other peoples emergencies. I guess trip 18 in the psych ward is overdue, because Ill be there shortly due to not being properly medicated.Next emergency, Ill just sit on a bucket and attach one to my face so I can ride the bus comfortably to my appointment.

I am newly taking on the responsibility of being a caregiver for my sister who is completely blind on top of her Mental Health issues. Today we were only 2 minutes past the 10 minute late window and still had to reschedule and this was for a provider appointment which is the most important one. I have not witnessed any kind of special accommodation being given to my disabled sister. If the provider is so strick because of their work load that they have to turn away a blind woman for being two minutes late then why is there only one provider? They should not be so ridged over 2 minutes. We even called before coming in. She is blind and it takes time to get places. This was so insensitive petty and ridiculous of you Columbia River Mental Health. Your provider leslie should be ashamed of herself.

The environment in the lobby feels stuffy and dirty, like theres a layer of grime on the seats and surfaces. The counselor I saw to get sleeping meds which so far have not been provided was WAY too old to be working and spent most of her time on the computer in awkward silence. She showed a giant lack of interest and made questionable comments. If youre looking for counseling or med management, check out Associates for Psychiatric and Mental Health (APMH). This place feels dirty, and its a clinic. No-go for me.

I recommended this place knowing nothing about it. The person is dealing with depression, anxiety and rage. The advice he was given was to plunge his head in a bucket of cold water and clench his muscles. Unbelievable. Id rather not even check a single star but had to in order to post a review.

I recently lost my daughter and had a failed suicide attempt. I was told by the woman I was seeing that my suicidal feelings are not valid given my circumstances and that I am mentally unstable. No compassion or empathy towards what I am going through. Really unprofessional staff. I can go elsewhere if they cannot treat me with respect.

Tried to go here to get a counseling appointment on a walk in basis and they turned me away because I didn’t have insurance. What a joke. This place takes donations and strives themselves on helping people but turns people away if they don’t have insurance. Place should be closed for that.

This place is horrible. I dislike my counselor because she is truly unproffessional. My counselour, debbie, seemed more interested in my personal life. Disregard the reviews that are positive; they suspiciously never name their counselors. Also, if you need help ask about the ADAPT program. I was in need of a prescription refill that columbia could not refill. So after an ER visit, i was told by a social worker that was an option. Columbia never helped.

The first intake guy was good, then saw the female counselor Melissa, and she was very unprofessional, didnt seem to care about what I wanted to talk about, she laughed at an inappropriate time when I was talking, answered the phone during our session and talked about another client in front of me!! Very unprofessional, no thanks!!
