Over all impression was quite good. Bear in mind I was sent to receive a hearing test by an ENT specialist to hearing life. I only expected some tech to give me the test and send the results back to the ent. However I was greeted by an audiologist who spent some time questioning me why the need (tinnitus) and providing feedback concerning the condition. She also left me her card inviting me to call if I feel the need with additional questions or issues. I never expected anything more than a routine test….and extremely happy that so much more transpired on my visit. Overall impression on first visit was very positive

I have been pleased with my Oticon brand hearing aids. They have been very reliable, and if adjustments are needed it is handled easily and professionally.

Outstanding experience with Dr. Chris Cox and the gracious and professional staff at Hearing Life in Vancouver, WA. I was visiting Vancouver from Tucson, AZ, when ear pain problems arose 2 days before my flight home. I couldnt get an urgent care appt anywhere! While accompanying my sister for her audiology exam, on 7/21, she mentioned my issue to Dr. Cox. He offered to take a quick look into my ears with his scope and discovered excessive, severely impacted wax blocking both canals and ear drums. Dr. Cox came to my aid and compassionately spent his entire lunch break extracting impacted wax from my ears, thus relieving the pain and pressure. He additionally contacted a colleague in Tucson for a recommendation and referral to an Ear/N&T specialist for follow-up care, which I began receiving on 7/27. The added bonus is that Dr. Cox didn’t even charge me for this much needed help and assistance, though I didnt even have an appointment, and he gave up having lunch in order to help me. I cannot express how deeply this rare level of care, concern, and expertise is appreciated! We recently saw Dr. Chris Cox, audiologist, in Vancouver WA. We were sent to him on an outside referral from the VA because of a persistent and painful problem my husband was having with his current hearing aids. He spent time, was thorough and pleasant, solved our problems and we were completely satisfied. And it turns out that because of VA procedures, he would not be paid because he was not the one who prescribed the hearing aids. And he asked for no payment from us. So I am passing on his name to anyone who needs an audiologist. We highly recommend him!!

I was sent there with a doctor referral as I hadn’t seen an audiologist since mine retired. The audiologist did not hurt my ears at all inserting plugs to do the exam, and in fact all the cumbersome equipment felt fine.He did a careful thoughtful exam, fine tuning his methods to ensure he really figured out what I was and was not hearing.In the end, he showed me my hearing on the audiogram, and explained why in my case it is likely to be genetic, and my normal, as well as why I was struggling suddenly more with hearing some women when in past it was mainly men with low voices. I said most doctors seem in a great hurry, but he said we have time. By the time I left I felt good about myself, not broken, and also understood my body better and how during Covid with mask wearing my hearing aids may help me at work hear better even with background noise.I would recommend if your insurance will accept this clinic you see them for those reasons and also because they have polite front desk staff and make appointments right away, not months off.

When you buy the hearing aids, they don’t explain that you need to bring them in to clean out the wax that gets in the hearing aids. It costs $50.00 each time you get them cleaned. For my husband, that is about every two weeks, so that means he just doesn’t wear them very much, as it is too expensive.

Best in Vancouver. My mother loves the Dr.s here and they are amazingly friendly.

My hearing aids are 7 years old and I hardly ever wore them, purchased elsewhere. Amanda said they werent properly adjusted which was why they fell out. Im delighted with her positive spirit and solution oriented approach.

I have had my hearing aids for several years now and am very satisfied. When I arrive for my appointments I am helped promptly and efficiently. I have never felt that I am hurried through an appointment and any questions I have are answered completely and thoroughly. I am very pleased with the service provided by the Audiology Clinic.

I have suffered from Menieres Disease for over 17 years now. One of the symptoms is hearing loss. I had decided to finally do something about it. I am so glad that I found Audiology Clinic and my audiologist Jim Pertusich! He gave me hope in hearing well again when I didnt think there was anything I could do. I no longer feel left out from conversations with my family or have to strain to hear clients at my job. The whole experience from the warm greeting at the front desk, hearing test and hearing aid fitting process has been a phenomenal experience. I highly recommend this Clinic. My only regret is not doing something about my hearing loss sooner! Thank you Jim and everyone at Audiology Clinic!
