They sent me to a company where I had interviewed and hired for an inventory controller position. At the end of the day said company whipped out a chainsaw and told me that I would be dismantling it, putting on additional parts and reassembling it into a trenching chainsaw. That is not an inventory specialist! I went to the manager at said company explained that production of products was not in the job description at all. That I am an office worker I cannot lift a chainsaw nor am I a production worker. Further, my specialties and skills needed to be focused on their inventory, as it was a mess. They had accounting paying inventory invoices for inventory they hadn’t even received. When I explained to them how bad their process was and where I could streamline it, he agreed but also told me, “why would I have you paying invoices,I don’t know you”. I asked, “ then, why did you hire me; because I did exactly that for a multi million non-profit company?” He told me the pack my stuff up and leave. I immediately called Opti staffing group and left a message. Then I sent a text message to the lady that I had been responding with, not once but twice. She responded she didn’t have any authority as she was no a recruiter and would have Terrell contact me. He did not. Not has one person from the company reached out to me. I received an email to submit my timesheet for the six hours I was there at the company. I received a notice back from the manager at the company that had hired me refusing to pay me stating that I quit. OPTi staffing still has yet to reach out to me and say anything to me not one person. Also the company that they sent me to allowed smoking in the building. Lit up a cigarette right In front of me, highly illegal. Reported this to OPTi staffing group as well. Nobody seems to care so I would stay far far away from this company.

They are not honest. Jobs that they post that state experience not required are either posted inaccurately, which I more likely doubt, or they are straight out dishonest. Jonathan went through standard questions of employment history, then asking times available and such. Then says you need 1 year experience for a job that does not require experience. What are these agencies for??? Obviously not to help other people.

Terrell posted a job, I responded and got an interview the next day. The company hired me on the spot, with good pay. Cant complaint about anything. Im happy.

This place is far from professional.They leave you hanging never a call back and when you call them it’s always the voice mail BS.Also trying to place you in a job that’s not in your wheel house.Do yourself a favor, find a job on your own or get another agency that actually cares enough to place a candidate!

I have been working with Tammy at Opti Staffing (as an employer) and have developed a strong working relationship with her. She has worked hard to help me find the right person for our team. Awful company...completely wasted my time trying to get employment with these people.... I called back several times and there was always some excuse as to why they couldnt find me anything the biggest one being we are waiting to hear back and I havent heard from them in weeks even though I had been checking back nearly daily so I was forced to go with a different Employment Agency who get me a job in less than a week....opti staffing is an absolute waste of time

Hooked up one job, got laid off after a couple months. Almost think that company just called in people to fill in back logs. After that Opti Strung me along for awhile and basically spit out a few empty promises. I held off on my own job searching (I know bad decision) for about a week because of interviews they said they were setting up. The job they got me for 2 months was a half decent gig while it lasted though. Dont believe Ill be intentionally dealing with them again though. Not a fan of how they disguise their adds, not sure the actual job for the add they are running always exists. Its whatever, they did their job, at least for awhile.

Yet another very lukewarm agency. Jacquelyn and Nina, albeit very nice, were never proactive with their communication and required constant communication to be kept on their radar. Any opportunities were pipeline and never came to fruition. If youre looking to babysit adults for your placement needs, this is the agency for you. If you need an agency to actually work for you, take interest in your employment well-being, and pair you with actual placements, look elsewhere.

Constant cold calls. That practice should end. Why would a random business with no association with you want to hire anyone you are trying to push on them when you dont even have any idea how the business operates or if they are even looking for staffing. Theres no list they say when you call them asking to be removed from the call list. Well, Youve been spam calling me enough to know youre not pulling my number out of a hat. Shady.

The folks at opti are great. If youre looking for work, this is the place. Had an interview with Gabriel & Terrell on a Monday, had a job interview by Wednesday. Was hired on the spot & went to work within the week. Amber & Sam in admin are super helpful as well.

Most jobs are underpaid. The employers they sent me too wasted my time. Haven’t had very many job offers.

I was reached out to by an OPTI recruiter on LinkedIn. We completed a phone interview for an awesome position and I was told I would hear back either later that day or the next day with good news (that’s one thing the recruiters LOVE to do-hype you up), but I never heard back from her. I called the number she called me from for the phone interview and after I said my name and why I was calling, she hung up on me mid-sentence! I decided to call the office the next day to see if she was available but I was told that she was no longer with the company and I was forwarded to the branch manager, Kendra. At first, it took Kendra a while to get in touch with me and when she did, the job I applied for was no longer available. I asked Kendra to keep me updated and I continued my job search. Well, I came across an OPTI job on a job board and decided to apply for it through Bree. About half an hour before my interview while I’m on the way over, I get a call from Kendra saying she had a job opportunity for me and she had no idea I was supposed to have an interview with Bree. It’s a good thing Kendra called because apparently Bree was out sick that day and nobody was planning on telling me! Even though this was the second time OPTI let me down, I decided to continue to the office as Kendra sounded excited. The job that Kendra prepared me for was the complete wrong company so when I showed up to the interview, I sounded like an idiot because I wasn’t able to do any research on this company. I never received a follow up call about that interview and I have done everything I can to find a job elsewhere. Kendra wasted my time and got my hopes up for no reason. She is a nice person and is easy to talk to but now that I’ve been treated the way I have, I see it was all an act to try and a giant sales pitch.

Talon and Jessica are incompetent and disrespectful. Talon doesnt know how to return phone calls. Jessica has no comprehension of the real world. They are constantly posting fake ads for positions so that they can build databases of candidates for jobs that do not exist. 2.5 months of wasted time.
