Had the pleasure of having Sergeant First Class Fitch as my recruiter. Great guy, who went above and beyond for me to make sure I could get back into the Army even after my Wavier was denied. If you are looking for someone to help get you into the Army or to simply ask questions without being to pushy ask for Sergeant Fitch. You wont regret it.
To anyone looking to join the U.S. Army I would definitely recommend this station. Everyone there treated me like I belonged from the very beginning and made sure I was comfortable and well informed during all my visits, especially my recruiter Mark Fitch who helped me every step of the way to the best of his ability and went above and beyond for me treating me like a human and a friend rather than just another body for the army. 11/10 would definitely recommend
The recruiters at this particular recruiting center (I can’t speak for the others) especially my primary recruiter Staff Sergeant Nguyen, have been some of the most helpful people I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. They helped me not only with my enlistment but also with some of my life challenges and problems. This included sitting down with my parents and informing them about the military, and it’s many benefits. They were truthfully up front and went in-depth helping reassure my parents so we could all move forward informed. When I had some trouble with my choice of job at Meps, Staff Sergeant Nguyen and the others at the recruiting station came in with the save. I’m happy to say I got the job I wanted and I am about to step onto the path I have chosen as a member of the family and team that is the United States Army!
Sgt Fitch and all the other recruiters there were really awesome and helped me achieve my dream job :)
SFC Fitch was a great recruiter who helped me join the Army. They’re not pushy at all, they’re informative, and very hospitable. I’d recommend anyone considering the military to come here.
Stay classy, gents. You might want to go over to one of the smarter branches and ask for some spelling lessons.
Every recruiter at this station is transparent and professional. Throughout my recruitment there was no question I had that went unanswered. Recruiters who were previously part of different military branches were even able to explain how they differ from the army. If you want to make an informed choice about joining the military then head down to the Vancouver East Recruiting Station. You will not be disappointed.
Walking into this recruiting station I was very nervous and unsure how it would go. Immediately after walking in I was greeted by everyone and was able to feel at home within 5 minutes of being in there. My recruiter was Staff Sergeant Nguyen, he was very truthful and clear with everything, and also a really great person. For the first time I felt as if I had a family away from my home and people who truly cared about my future. SSG Nguyen helped me create a plan and structured it very clear and easy to understand. SSG Fitch and Haj was also super helpful with my enlistment and were super friendly with me. SSG Nguyen made sure I was ready for everything to come and because of that I am now honored to say I have raised my right hand and gave an oath to protect and serve this country.
From the moment I stepped into the station they were very friendly and informative. I was stuck working a job I knew wasn’t getting me anywhere. I took the time to come in and just get some more information about the army. That has probably been the best decision I ever made now I’m shipping out soon and get to become a part of something great .I got some great advice and information from SSG Fitch, SSG Armstrong and SSG Nguyen. I encourage someone who is in my similar situation to come on in at the van east station and get some info about the army it could change your life!
This was my first experience in any recruiting office, I was nervous coming in and had no idea what The Army was really all about besides the obvious. I met up with my recruiter SSG Mark Fitch and he explained everything to me in depth. My brother in The Army tells me I must have the best recruiter because his didnt explain things as well or wasnt as helpful. Thanks Fitch! Everyone in the office is really helpful and more than happy to answer any questions, anytime.
I was born overseas and am bilingual, I wanted to serve to be part of something bigger than myself and start a new legacy all my own even in my mid-20’s.Huge shoutout to SSG Nguyen with giving me great advice and huge shoutout to SSG Yates he was very patient with me even when it took me time with testing, he always followed up to see how I was doing which really motivated me to keep going. I was never pressured by the staff but received great advice and a lot of good personal feedback on what it is like being in the Army and the benefits it will provide for the rest of you’re life. I just want to say thank you!
I was just recently recruited out of this location the recruiters and other staff at this location were very helpful in getting me to the job I wanted they talked me through the whole process and told me what to expect going through the process and I’m happy to be recruited out of this location and I would highly recommend everyone to go through here with these awesome guys
Vancouver East Recruiting Station is composed of highly dedicated and helpful individuals. My recruiter SSG Fitch went above and beyond to help me take this next step in my life. SSG Fitch and I maintained great contact throughout the process. He answered any questions I had in a timely manner and with correct information. SSG Fitch managed to reserve the exact MOS (job) I wanted. Not only did SSG Fitch help me every step of the way, the other recruiters were friendly and did whatever they could to help as well.I went in looking for a recruiter and will leave on the 18th with several friends. If you’re thinking about taking this next step in Your life I suggest you visit Vancouver East Recruiting station.
Very helpful recruiters helped me land an awesome job!
I never write reviews but I want to give a big thank you to SSG Fitch and SSG Novosselov for helping me with my enlistment process. I’m very grateful that you guys were able to help!
I’m not one to ever write a review, but after working with SSG. Fitch (And this recruiting office) I had to write one...I had the pleasure to have had SSG. Fitch as my recruiter, and trust me he did not disappoint. He was extremely knowledgeable, calm, collective, not pushy in joining. After he explained everything that the army had to offer I knew I had to REJOIN the army. I want to give a huge shout out to the office here, and just say thank you so much for all the hard work you guys put in. If you’re thinking about bettering your life or just curious about what the army has to offer.. give this office a call.. you absolutely won’t regret it.Last but not least, SSG. Fitch you’re an absolute legend. Thank you for everything, and I really hope I am lucky enough to cross paths with you again during my military career.
The recruiters there are all extremely helpful. They helped me go from Reserve to active, pick the job I want, and get it done in just a few short weeks. They are really friendly and efficient and know what they are talking about. Plus there just cool. I highly recommend talking with them.
Ive enjoyed the time Ive spent here. Sgt. Hobbs is my recruiter, and he along with Sgt. Fitch helped me get into the MOS I wanted. Every Thursday evening, theres FST with great team building and fitness opportunities to keep future soldiers in shape and constantly exercising. The group is kind, friendly and extremely helpful with learning more about joining the Army and what benefits come with it. Its a really nice and welcoming environment.
The best recruiting team ever! I went into this recruiting station and expected the worst. Normally when I talked to a recruiter they just wanted to be pushy and not answering many questions. I went to my local Vancouver recruiting station and found the best and most caring team Ive ever met. All the men who work here were kind and eager to answer questions. Each recruiter genuinely cares about their future soldiers. Each wants to know updates and good news about their applicants who have been shipped of to basic training. I am still in touch with my recruiter and I enjoy having someone that cares about my progress. The advice I have received is priceless and it was well worth my time to go here and start my military career. Thank you Vancouver Washington us army recruiting station.
A very transparent and honest group of recruiters who show the commitment and candor to help anyone be successful. They operate differently than you would expect from a recruiting station. Family is always high on their priorities. Good Job Van East!
I must commend SSG Hay for his professionalism, candor and willingness to help. He has gone above and beyond to help others in times of need, even when it is not part of the job. He sees his job as being a mentor to those that need it and a Good Samaritan in times of need. He demonstrates the best Army image possible each and every day. I am proud that he is representing this country and sticking up for all things right. As a recruiter, you can guarantee that he is forthright when speaking to potential candidates, allowing them to make the best decision possible when seeking out a career in service to others.
Great experience with a friendly and professional team. You’re treated like an individual and not another number. I’d highly recommend getting in touch with anyone from this office if you’re interested in a US Army career!
Working with the East Vancouver recruiters was an absolute pleasure. SSG Nguyen and SFC Ledbetter helped me go through the process of enlisting, and made the experience both fun and straight-forward.Also, Sergeant Fitchs circuits were brutal (in a constructive way).If youre thinking about joining the US Army, I would highly recommend that you do so through this team.

Good group of guys in that station. I love stopping in there and hearing about their army knowledge. Highly recommend.
Outstanding group of professionals that are always willing to answer any questions I have. I would like to thank SSG Hay especially for all the help he has given to me in the past.
Helping people along their path to realize their goals. Leadership training, debt free college education, job training in multiple career fields. Become a member of the greatest team in the United States!
SSG Hay is a professional soldier with the utmost integrity. Having served several deployments in various units, he has the experience to provide a realistic view of the Army. He is a wonderful mentor and provided his soldiers with excellent leadership which continues with those interested in possible service to our country.
My experience with the recruiting center was amazing. They told everything I wanted to know and needed to know and my main guide throughout my recruitment journey was Sergent Ledbetter who told straight up no bs what I needed to do to get where I wanted to go. I would like to thank everyone at the recruiting center for chances that they gave me, and the PT we did there helped me a lot and I would like to give a special thank you to Sergent Ledbetter for just being awesome and if you have doubts don’t because with Ledbetter your in good hands.
Outstanding group of professionals willing to go the extra mile to help America’s youth succeed in their career and educational goals.
I would like to thank the Vancouver East recruiting center for the help and service that it provided with my personal issue. I would especially like to give a special thank you to SSG Hay for his unwavering support and commitment to go the extra distance to help someone in need. SSG Hay is one of the most honest and loyal service members I have had the pleasure of working with. Thank you again SSG Hay.
Cool people got me exactly what i wanted and got me shipped fast
Of every branch I contacted, Vancouver East Army got back to me the very next day about my interest and immediately wanted to start talking to me about enlisting in the Army. They are all very strong leaders and solid individuals that genuinely care about the well being of those that walk into the office, and of course want you to enlist in the best branch of the US military. Hooah!
Sometimes it can be hard to find an NCO that is as dedicated and loyal to the service and his fellow soldiers as SSG Hay. SSG Hay is the definition selfless service and integrity. No matter the situation or circumstances, SSG Hay puts everyone else needs above his own to complete the mission. Weather its working 12 days in a row straight or covering for someone who has an emergency with no questions asked, that is who SSG Hay is. I have seen nothing but great results from this recruiting office and I know SSG Hay is a big key to this accomplishment. I am proud and honored to have served and know SSG Hay and I couldnt be more thankful for his guidance, both personal and professional that I have received, just as others have from him as well.
