If you are still school supply or office supply shopping, THIS is the store for you!! It has been a very long time since Ive gone anywhere and experienced TRUE humanity in shopping!I had used a service online to order the funeral programs for my fathers celebration of life with guaranteed delivery by Friday, the day before the service, which was Saturday at 11am.. At 7:45 pm Fed Ex updated my tracking to show that my delivery was in Portland but wouldnt arrive until AFTER the weekend!All of my nearby copy & print shops were already closed and Office Depot was closing at 8pm. I was a frantic, emotional mess! The young man that picked up the phone in the copy center was so kind and patient as I poured out my dilemma. He had me email him the downloaded version and gave me his word they would be printed, folded, and ready for pick up upon opening at 9am on Saturday. My brother was there 1st thing and was met with genuine and heartfelt service! This store did the impossible for us. They gave us an enormous blessing on the 2nd worst day of our lives, when we thought the day would be full of grief and pain.Thank you so very much for helping us to honor our dad. He was worth it and it just would not have been the same without your help! Your store will be my 1st stop and my 1st recommendation always!!!

Very unhelpful staff unable to find anyone to help. When try to find an employee to ask a question staff purposefully avoid looking at you to not have to help. Finally looked the numerous cameras on the ceiling and raised my arms and shrugged as of to say hello? where can I get help? and that is when finally someone came over but they clearly did not want to answer or help just said I don’t know maybe look online? I left because already had been online and wanted personal help to answer question I could not have answered online. Def recommend not going to hazel dell store and would be better helped going to different store.

I. Feel like when someone calls a business you should answer the phone . You should not wait 10 Mins for someone to pick up !! Bad just bad .My opinion

What a great experience, went in with a problem and out with a solution. Professional and safe! We have never written a review but just had to knowing all the restrictions to keep us all safe during coved 19. The staff was so helpful, so professional and put us first from the time we walked in to the time we left. Will never shop any other office store. Only spent 90.00 but we were treated like we spent a million.

Evonne & McKenzie assisted in correcting an error made by the online website regarding chair purchases. That specific office depot in Vancouver, Washington really cares about the customer experience. Both were very kind, caring, attentive, and went above and beyond our expectations. From now on I will only be coming to this store for my Office Depot purchases

Literally just bought a NEW laptop 3 weeks ago and its now overheating and shutting down. They told me that they werent allowed to exchange it since it was past 2 weeks. I understand you have your policies, but theres also something called customer service and clearly theyre lacking in this department. I will never shop here nor will I recommend them to anyone ever again. Honestly if I couldve given them a 0 I would have.

I have never been disappointed w/ a single thing.i dont know everything about them but the employees have never disappointed me, and i have to admit that any that I have bought or had printed out from store, it was all reasonable priced and work quite well

All of the sales associates are always so helpful. One of our favorites is Aaron, the tech guy. Wow! He is knowledgeable and friendly! We really enjoy when we have to go shopping at this location.

I don’t normally leave reviews, and I don’t normally go to office depot. I’m in the parking lot typing this, because I was totally blown away at how knowledgable and friendly the staff is here. Store is well stocked and organized as well. Probably one of the best in-store experiences I have had in a long time, and made my day just that much better!

Man at the printer counter is very rude!! When I asked a question he gave me attitude and made us feel like I was bothering him. One of his friends came in and his attitude totally changed, gave his friend a great welcome and great attitude. I dont care what your job is but if you work in customer service IT IS your job to be kind and helpful!!

Staff is amazing such great service and attention to detail. They’re very helpful I felt like I was in a designer store spending thousands they’d assist me with everything. Definitely found a new go-to office supply location.

Although when you go into the store the employees are very kind and helpful, i just called them over the phone the woman who answered was very rude and pushed me off the phone she said bye and hung up and didn’t even check to see if i was done (i wasn’t btw). Office Depot needs to train their employees so they are polite.

I went here to find a TI-84 Calculator charger after trying a couple other places. I walked aimlessly for a couple minutes, trying to find out where the calculators were and then one of the helpers asked me what I was looking for and pointed me in the direction of the chargers. I looked through all of them but couldnt find the one I needed so I went up to the front and the cashier sent me back to the same guy to help me find the charger. Turns out it had been right under my nose and I had just been blind! The two guys who helped me were very patient and sweet, so I would definitely recommend coming here if you need help with getting office supplies. Also, when I was chatting with the cashier he was genuinely interested in how my day was going, not like other customer service people who sound fake or like theyre trying too hard. 😊

Prices are super high in general, but they do pricematch as long as its apples-to-apples from a actual store. Thats the only upside with them being more local for me. Saved be a trip to Best Buy which is further away w/ price match.

I went in to buy my second office chair from here. Brought the skew up to the counter the gal asked me to wait, which is normal. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I told the gal how about I go next door and do my shopping for the animals and it will give you guys time to get the chair. Remember it is about 60 ft from the front of the store to the back of the store. Came back a little under half hour later, to find no chair up front and the employees standing around like deer in the headlights. Then proceeded to tell me that they didnt have the chair. So your IMS (Inventory management system) didnt tell you that before you had me wait over 20 minutes? You couldnt have brought the floor model up and offered me that one? Terrible customer service and absolute laziness. I dont blame the employees though, this comes down to poor management and dis-organization. Being a business owner myself I would recommend disciplinary action and termination if it is not corrected. Will not buy any of my supplies from this store again!

I needed to have a Word document printed since my printer was on strike. Took the file in on a flash drive and it took less than 5 minutes to be waited on, file to be printed and for me to pay for the print job.Although I didnt need the help this time, the computer techs at this store are great and have always resolved my computer issues quickly and competently.

Very helpful. I had a complicated transaction which would have even annoyed me if I was my own cashier, but the girl was very polite and made it work for me. Office max is expensive for office supplies so convenience and customer service should always be paramount for customers. I am surprised to read the negative reviews, and glad my experience was better than that of others. Hopefully they saw the issue and corrected it.

I just walked in to return an item that I bought before Christmas and the old lady said its past the two week mark.. Sorry if you had told me that it was for Christmas we could probably return it or give u In store credit. I said no one told me about that policy. Best buy would never of done this nor would target or Walmart. I think this company is going out of business.. Dont buy from them. The funny part is I actually walked in to buy a printer after I returned my small $14 dollar item but now Im off to best buy!

Came in on black Friday for hp951xl blue cartridge . So they had hp951 regular. She was nice and sold both for what one 951xl would go for. Not paying 12.99 for ream of 500 sheets, where bimart 4.99. They were from same company and size.

Very poor set up store. Had to grab a ticket for printer ink and then go wait in check out line only to find out they didnt have it in stock. No if I wanted to order it online and wait I probably lay would have done that from home thank you. Poor customer service attitude. One employee loudly complaining because he had been on the phone with a customer for a long time. GRRRR

I had a fantastic time at office depot, I went one Saturday evening when it was relatively empty exlecting to quickly drop off some packages, for which I had already printed postage. However, there was a man and his daughter who were waiting on photos, there were at least 4 empoyees in the store, but only one at the shipping/photo kiosk. The man snd his daughter were the only customers aside from me.So, this is where it gets exciting-- I decided to browse. Initially, it was casual, glance at the soda and sunglasses displays by the regster while repeatedly checking your phone browsing however, soon it become HARDCORE I want to start my own small business NOW browsing. First I hit up the own aisle, nothing to exciting, I have pllenty of pens, way overpriced. Then I went to the school office supply aisle, o truly think my business needed those items, but I resisted (I want a foam board for some reason and twistables are a professional art supply imo). Afterwards I browsed paper and binders, I almodt got a fancy shmancy meeting agenda book, I have no idea why, it was 10 bucks, not work it at all, but I wsnted it so much, I csrried it sround the store for quite a while.I passed by the storage containers quickly because someone recently atole mine. Then I went on to the variety stuff the ribber band balls, the scissors, theclearanceitemsthemini stsalersthebibblewrapthecalendarsAND THAT IS WHEN I FOUND IT!A large size Ghiradheli Holiday assortment choclate bag for 3 bucks, (they typically retail at around 10 around Christmas and feature 3 flavors: eggnog, pumpkin spice, and peppermint bark. I love them. They are so much better than they sound and the only Ghiradhelli worth your money) and so I stopped the masss of items I had accumulated at that point, and picked up my score. Apparently the man and his daighter had been gone for some time, but I had not noticed, I quickly trotted over and shipped my package. Then I used my Office Depot Rewards thingie to get the bag for only 2 bucks. 2 freaking bucks! Man that trip was epic. I wish I had purchased like 10 of them, msybe I will go back today, hopefully there isnt a rush on them after I post this.

WTG Office Depot keep advertising good deals i live next to a wal mart they price match and have stock, make another box store more popular as you end up in bankruptcy!!!
