I have had great experiences every time I have gotten a hair cut, Straight shaven, or beard and eyebrows Trimmed. Very professional and Inviting Atmosphere. Nadia is very easy to talk to. She also goes above and beyond way to make sure The cut is the way that I want it.

The Barbers Pole is under the new management of Nadia Osipov. Nadia is an excellent barber that truly follows in the footsteps of David, the previous owner. Nadia worked closely with David prior to the sale and she continues to provide the high level of service and expertise in shaves, styles and haircuts. I highly recommend Nadia if you find yourself in need of one of these services.

Went in to get a haircut and shave. While the quality was good and service fine, the situation stinks of fraud! Prices that were posted online (which of since have been taken down) were completely false. I was informed after my haircut and shave that I would be paying $75 in cash! As no one carries such a sum on their person, I was forced to leave my phone as collateral while I retrieved the money. This was completely contrary to the prices that I had seen online, and there is also no indicator of prices anywhere inside of the building. This is a complete bait and switch scam! From recent reviews it seems like this practice is still going on. I warn anyone who is considering this location to instead visit one of the many other barbershops in Vancouver that are far less likely to rip you off.

Nadia is a very skilled Barber/stylist. She actually uses shears as well as clippers . If you have never had a hot towel shave you should definitely treat yourself as Nadia is fantastic!! This shop offers the convenience of the fast cut chains with the ability to schedule an appointment. Nadia is accommodating, friendly and professional. The facilities are quaint and consistent with an old time barber shop.I would highly recommend The Barbers Pole.

Nadia the new owner was not at time in the two appointments I want some style and she did it different because she think is better!!!! $45 for a haircut plus she ask for a tip!!!! $50 haircut! Omfg!!!! I do not recommend the place.

Guys, Its the same shop and same great service weve all come to know and love, but I do believe there is a new kid on the block. Her name is Nadia. I believe she is the new owner, but I dont want to spread misinformation. Please verify for yourself the status. Nevertheless, she was so pleasant on the phone and seemed genuinely eager to schedule my appointment. When I showed up, she got me right in. You can tell she knows her way around the clippers and is no stranger to good conversation if you wish to talk. I went home and did an inspection in the mirror and was so impressed that it didnt take her an excessive amount of time to do a top notch job. Im going back for sure. Shes my new go to person when it comes to looking sharp. Give her a chance. You wont be disappointed. We may have to clean up the language a bit fellas. Shes a lady through and through and not hard on the eyes at all, but the biggest thing that stood out is she seemed very sweet and real to the core. In case youre wondering, I do not know her and am not promoting her. I just want everyone else to experience the new vibe that I did.

My sons have gone to the Barbers Pole for years, but this was our first experience with the new owner, Nadia. We had a 9am appointment, but she was almost 20 min late due to a car problem. The haircut is passable (I am going to have to trim and blend the side better) and not close to the quality and care we got from Dave and Gary. It cost $25 plus another $5 because his hair was so long. My sons hair was not very long (three fingers on top, less on the sides), as I had been cutting it regularly during covid times; the haircut took no more than 15-20 min. Prices are not posted, and when I tried to pay by credit card, she asked for cash and gave me change from her wallet. We will NOT return.Change, happens, but we will miss Dave - he provided an exceptional and unmatched experience.

Dave has sold the shop as of Dec. 2020. I think the new owner is exploiting Daves old customers and his businesss good name. Be sure to ask what the charges are; a sliding scale is used and costs are not displayed. New owner is Nadia (unsure of spelling).A good haircut and beard trim and excellent conversation, but the price was very high, $80. Nadia was not upfront on costs (FULL DISCLOSURE: I did not ask and she did not say; I have never paid more than $50 and that was for a full straight edge razor shave and haircut). I had not been in for a cut for 14 months so hair was about 14 months long. I sat and got a haircut just as I had at other barbers. She buzzed off the excess, scissor trimmed the top and blended in the sides, 20 min (typical from my experience). She asked if I wanted a beard trim, I said sure. She trimmed (10 min) and finished it off with a nice straight edge to clean the lines (I didnt ask for that), 15 min. I was there at 9 am, she was late, but hey that didnt bother me...the price did. I had to leave something of value with her while I ran to the debit machine to get cash because I didnt have $80 in my wallet and she only accepted cash.I asked her why so expensive and she told me, because I hadnt been in for over a year and the hair was long; it takes longer to cut long hair. It seemed pretty typical amount of time for the haircut to me. The beard trim was extra effort for sure. I asked what she charges for a haircut every month - $25, every 2 months - $30, every 3 months - $30, every four months...I never did get what the price breakdown was for my 14 month haircut and the price for the beard trim, collectively its $80. Although, she gave me a discount, so I only paid $75, thanks Nadia.Not recommended for someone who likes an old school barber. I will go downtown to the hipster guys and drink beer while I wait for that price. Although you could shave/cut most of your hair off before going in to save money. I should have done that.

The guys at Barber Pole are fantastic. I have been getting my haircut there since I moved to the NW 3 years ago. Their place always looks clean and smells good. Theyre fast and by far the best value for the money. I cant recommend them enough!

Best Barber Around. Dave is the Best. He takes care and Artfully crafts your haircut. Make an appointment, he is busy. If your looking for a New Barber or upgrading you will be happy with the results. Theres definitely a difference between a True Barber and just a regular haircut from anywhere. Went once and they were good. However I went back two different times hoping to get a cut, and it didnt work out. They take appointments, so if you want to swing in hoping to get a cut, better make an appointment. I came in with my 2 boys hoping to get us all haircuts, no one waiting, one person in a chair and the other open, we were told an appointment was coming in 10 minutes so we waited, while one guy just sat in his chair and read a magazine. The guy didnt show so they called him to confirm. ( They said he was a regular) He said he was on the way. So since we had already been sitting for more than 15 minutes now watching one guy read a magazine and the other cutting hair, I decided we would just try another time. Came back again a few days later, walked in the door at 2:30 and was told they were booked for the rest of the day. So, if your looking for the old school barber shop that is come in and wait your turn, this isnt it. Make an appointment.

Its a great little Barber shop. The staff are cheerful, theres fun music in the background and the Barbers know what they are doing. I saw on the sign that they do Flat tops (hard to find) and Mohawks. But the regular clientele seem to be anybody and everybody. From teens to businessmen. Id suggest a reservation.

These guys are great! Busy so you know they are good! Great atmosphere, friendly people. So i let my hair grow put for about 6 months for a new look went in at about 4:45pm and they close at 6. They got me in the seat about 530 and showed a picture of what I want. And they started. Not only did they end up staying past 7 doing my hair and to trim my beard, everything came out perfect. Ill be going here from now on.

The only place I will go for a cut and/or beard trim. Dave and Gary are absolute professionals who do a superb job. They arent the cheapest game in town, nor should they be- you certainly get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and give them a call- make an appointment because they are usually busy; or, walk in, sit down and wait, and enjoy the conversation.

If you want the best haircut in Clark County you dont have to look any further. I recently followed Gary to his friend Davids shop. Together they make a very talented pair. I get a 1-1/4 fade and beard trim. The entire experience is premium and the results are always consistent. Plenty of people comment on how even my fade is and how well my beard is shaped. These guys dont charge a premium either. Strongly recommended!

The best budget barber shop in all of Washington. It is run by two guys that take lot of pride and care in their work. If you get you haircut at the barbers stop go to this store.

Im picky when it comes to who I let cut my hair. Wife says anyone can cut hair. Not like these guy. They are in a small location and do get busy on Saturdays, but by far hands down best hair cut money can buy. Good conversation, clean shop and some damn good music playing. You want it cut right than these are the guys you want to cut your hair.
