I dont really care about sports, but I come here because the stylists are phenomenal. They give great advice on styles. Get the MVP service, its totally worth it.

Upon arrival you sign in at a screen, I recommend you do it on line to save time. Then you sit and wait, one of the hair dressers was helping another that had a customer who didnt like 2mm of his hair, it was ridiculous, but they were very patient with him. Sadly for everybody else waiting it increased the waiting time by 30 min. After the person that was being a ridiculous Karen left I was in and out in less than 10 min, with a great high fade. SO avoid the wait and use the on line tool, and you will have a good service at this location. Price is fair

I’m devastated Kayla ruined my sons beautiful long hair. I understand she is deaf and there may have been a communication issue but my husband specifically told her to not cut the front of his hair. He’s going to be in a wedding and I’m in tears with how horrible his hair looks. We have been trying to grow the hair out to one length and now it’s ruined and we’ll probably end up shaving his head. 10 months of pain for nothing, thanks a lot. Wouldn’t take my dog here to get a hair cut.

Kayla cut my hair today and she did an amazing job. 10/10. I have a weird Cowlick and I am used to explaining to stylists how to cut it. Towards the end of the cut- I was about to explain it, but to my surprise, she cut it perfectly. Thanks Kayla!

Little bit of a wait but the ladys were able to fix my haircut and give my sisters haircut shape and form. Last time I was there Lisa changed the direction of my hair and gave me a complete new look.

I usually come here to get my split ends cut off and get an MVP while Im at it. I have long and wavy hair, this posed no concern to my amazing stylist Lisa. She did everything I wanted, made helpful suggestions and made the whole experience feel much more relaxing than usual. Lisa did a wonderful job and I left feeling more refreshed than I have in ages! Recently got the worst hair cut i have ever gotten, employee did not care and did not listen to what i wanted. Cut my hair way too short its very annoying i will not be returning and i reccomend you go somewhere else. A shop like this is usually just a stepping stone for a hairstylist to move up to a better job. You always take a gamble, you could get a highly motivated stylist, or someone who just doesnt care.

I have been getting hair cuts and trims at Sports Clips for going on 6 years now. The Hazel Dell Sports clips has friendly hair stylists and a relaxed atmosphere that I enjoy visiting as a break from my busy schedule. I actually read all of the responses here, as I am a long time client and I would like to assure new customers that some of the negative reviews are likely baseless. I have known Melissa, the Hazel Dell Manager, for over 5 years, and If she was stern with ANYONE, it would be because they were unreasonable or unprofessional during the conversation. She is one of the friendliest people I know.I have had my haircut and MVP services done by Katie, Cat, Hollie, Melissa, Jill, Lisa, and other stylists over the years, they are all friendly and do a great job.In response to one of these posts that mentions long wait times... It is because the ladies at this Sports Clips location do such a wonderful job. I have been in there when all of the stations are full and there is a line OUT THE DOOR. Someone going to get on social media and claim that this is a bad place to get a haircut? Find something better to do with your time. I waited an hour and half to get a haircut that day, and was happy to do so in support of my stylists at Sport Clips.Social media can be dangerous and treacherous waters. Like many of you, I dont bother to post reviews and only make this exception because of my experience today.Sport Clips has been a monthly destination for 6+ years and Ive met many stylists during that time. Every visit has been a positive one and Ive never had reason to complain.Today I met Sara who is both friendly and engaging. I enjoyed the small talk and watched as she cut my hair. Her skill was immediately apparent and I was very impressed, but its the talent she so clearly demonstrated that has me writing this review.I must give credit to the manager Melissa. She is a great person and Im always happy to see her. Experience has taught me that management can make or break a business and Melissa is a definite asset to Sport Clips.

It should have been 5 stars, but they refused to honor the coupon I had. The gal was nice and the haircut looks good, but I dont see why you shouldnt honor your own coupon.I will probably take my business elsewhere in the future.

One of the stylists hugged and embraced someone who came in and the did nothing. No hand washing or sanitizer and just went back to cutting the hair of the person in her chair.

Its not my top choice in the area to get a hair cut. Too long of a wait time especially when you can see the manager, who seems to be watching some sort of video while customers are waiting for cuts. Turns out she then needed to fold towels... A mans hair cut shouldnt cost over $20.00 then be expected to tip. They nickle and dime you for everything but do a good cut and are friendly. I do like the veteran discount. Two years ago they where a 4 star... Im not sure they are now.

You never know what youre going to get, unless youre getting a crew cut.

TERRIBLE customer service. My husband went in last week for a trim and left with a buzz cut after a girl named Kai butchered his hair. She had someone else help and he was still allowed to leave with an uneven cut. When I called to speak to the manager Melissa, I was told shed call me back. 2 hours later I had to call again and she claims she called me twice and it went straight to voicemail and doesnt have time to leave voicemails. She wasnt at all apologetic and said she doesnt have the authority to give refunds. She had such attitude and disrespect when speaking to me. Dont waste your time going here, a mens haircut is so simple and they seem to mess those up way too easily.UPDATE: the owner called me from an unknown number during work hours and left a voicemail about how they dont do refunds and how his manager is very generous. He said no one would let my husband walk out with a bad haircut. The entire voicemail was a joke. Your establishment is a joke if you dont offer refunds for botched haircuts and terrible customer service. Melissa was one of the rudest people Ive ever spoken to and had zero regard for how to speak to customers KNOWING that one of her girls had in fact given a bad cut because one of her other girls told her so. Dont waste your time or money going here, they dont deserve business with how they treat people.

Dont take younger kiddos. You cant let them sit in your lap for some reason and if they get nervous and cry, they say they cant cut their hair. I could have calmed my little guy down if she gave me a second to get his favorite song playing on my phone, but whoever the stylist was didnt care to wait. We left for Perfect Look and got the job done for cheaper anyways.The wait time on weekends is consistently obnoxious, literally 30-45 minutes.

This is normally my go to place and everyone is great. Didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I think the training for new barbers should be a little more robust. I had a new person today that didn’t seem to know what she was doing and gave me a pretty bad haircut and nowhere close to what I normally get.

A really great group of gals. I had the pleasure of working with these women, I got to see the level of dedication to cleanliness and consistency in quality of service through my time at this location. Highly recommend, it would be hard to go wrong with this one.

Decent haircut, but was helpful determining what length I wanted.but the haircuts are pretty expensive here compared to great clips in other places. Get Melissa if possible...but most of the girls are quite skilled and friendly. Not a cheap hair cut. Get the MVP if you are tired or stressed its worth it. I like watching sports while Im waiting.

Great staff and on site management. Use the app to reserve your spot and there is little to no wait. And people will look at you with bewilderment as you walk past them because they didnt use the app.

Mary was WONDERFUL! She spent a great deal of time on a busy Sunday listening to my concerns and issues weve been dealing with my sons hair. She never made us feel rushed or like I was annoying her. Incredibly accommodating and played with my sons cowlick until it was perfect!! Ive never been so happy leaving the shop, and my 11 yo loves his hair too! She also found us a product that met his needs of not looking or feeling like product in his hair however still holding the style he wanted. A tall order, I know- but she came through! I highly recommend asking for her, even if theres a wait. She knows what shes doing, and listens to needs/wants!!

We go to Sports Clips in Hazel Dell for my son’s haircuts. He’s three and Hollie makes him feel super comfortable throughout the process. Reasonably priced and they get you in and out quickly.

Great job once again, no wait, top notch service, Ashley takes pride in trade as do all the stylist at this location. They want to make sure that when you leave you are satisfied. She even offered a few different shampoos that will help my scalp, but not with a high sales pitch..

All the stylists are fantastic. Ive had a hard time getting in quickly if I dont check in online but I fixed that by checking in online lol!

First time back since 2015 and I had a good experience. Sarah listened to what I wanted and also what I wanted her to be careful not to do concering my neck line. I left satisfied with my haircut and still satifed after I washed it at home for the first time. She was gentle when cutting my hair (unlike some who rake your scalp jerk your head). She could be a little more aggressive with the scalp massage, but I will speak up next time. She used tee tree shaping cream in my hair and I went back and bought some, love the smell. I will let her cut my hair next time.

I took my brother in to just simply get a trim, he has a competition he will be attending this weekend so we wanted to get a nice style for his hair. When I met the woman, I believe her name was Monica, I asked her not to do a bowl haircut. I noticed that around his face his bangs were VERY rounded. Why would you round the bangs?? I asked her to style his bangs more, she said Im not understanding what you mean by that. I said His bangs are too rounded it is resembling a bowl hair cut. She said Well, the head is round shaped. I said I understand that but his bangs need to have more style to them can you do something with them please?She chopped my brothers bangs up so weirdly they are uneven and it looks like she cut a huge hole into the side of his bangs!! He said lets just go Ill style it when I get home and I felt pretty defeated at that point so I swiped the card and we left well enough alone. However, my mother did not accept what this woman did to my hair so she called the manager and she asked us to come back in.The manager did not speak to us until my mom began to make a scene to catch a managers attention. I asked several times if there was a general manager on sight, who the owner was, what their contact information was, etc. The team manager Melissa insisted she was the GM and told us she was working with a client that we pulled her away from and as soon as she is done with this client she will deal with us. We waited patiently until my mother saw my brothers hair dresser.The hair dresser argued with us and I said Just an apology at the very least would be appreciated, considering you made it very clear to me after our conversation about his hair being rounded resembling a bowl cut that you were determined to do whatever you wanted with his hair. She smiled in my moms face at and stayed silent to which my mother continued to reason with her for some resolve, at that point my mother took out her phone to video tape the way the hair dresser was acting towards us. This caught the manager, Melissas attention finally and she came over and said you cannot take pictures in here. My mom said I wasnt taking pictures, I was video taping our conversation. The manager said I fold you I working with a client as soon as I am done I will be with you. You came in here freaking out over nothing! If you keep it up I will ask you to leave. Firstly, that is not how you address clients who are having some issues, secondly, if a client has an issue you need to rectify it promptly thats just common sense, and third dont ask us to come in to tell us we will be asked to leave if we cannot wait around patiently to talk to you when it is convenient for you! I was floored that she even said You came in here freaking out about nothing without even taking 1 second to deal with the problem at hand!! She didnt even look at my brothers hair!!!!She brought my mother and my brother to the back in a very dark hallway to assess his hair after a few minutes passed. I attempted to explain to her that I never asked for my brothers hair to look choppy, who wants their hair to be choppy?! NO ONE! I asked what can you do to rectify this? He doesnt want if cut up anymore. Who is the owner of this location? and I continued to reason with her to which she said to me You need to stop yelling. I said I have not ONCE yelled but I sure can start. My mother noticed that the manager was antagonizing us. She began yelling all the way out of the store after the self entitled general manager Melissa told us to leave. Not once did she even at least give us a sincere apology, she made it seem like our concerns were null, when they were not, and she gave us terrible customer service. You cant treat customers like this and think it is ok!

Went in today with my daughter and my 21 month old grandson for a trim. Granted it was our fist time in, and did not realize that my grandson could not sit in my daughters lap as they gave him a haircut. I was told to leave the floor that only one person could watch. Not that big of a deal, but the stylist was very rude about it. We ended up leaving cause my grandson would not sit in the chair by himself. Who would blame him though after being treated so rudely. We ended up going over to the Barbers across the street and they were very accommodating and nice. We ended up giving a 50% tip to the stylist there.

Coolest place ever. Was visiting from California and stopped by Sports Clips in Hazel Dell... Staff was super patient and great at cutting mine and my sons hair!

If you just want a basic haircut, this place is not for you. I had a coupon for half off their MVP haircut. I did not want a shampoo, message, gels or any of that other foo foo stuff so I said charge me for a MVP but just give me a haircut. When it came time to pay, they would not let me use the coupon because I did not get the full MVP. What a joke - because I didnt need my hair washed or want a massage? It cost me $5.50 more for their basic haircut. These places make all their money from selling gels and extra services, not from cutting hair, and then they spend far too much on marketing and gimmicky useless junk which makes a basic haircut cost far too much. Give me a place that cuts hair and charges $7 for a $7 haircut, not $17 or $23 for extra crap I dont want. Now I just need to find that place in Vancouver.

Use it so people can find you google you, But stop using it so people can check in!We are all so “disconnected” from each other getting your hair cut is one of the last frontiers we have that keeps us all connectedTouch is such a huge part of our senses that we tend to forget about it. Plus it’s big hassle and how it works! There were 3 stylists on duty when I went in today, the soonest I could get in was 54 mins and that’s if no one check in online even After me. I would get bumped when that person came in even though I had been sitting there waiting my turn. How go I know this cuz it’s happen. I was waiting for 20 mins the chair opened up I stood up wait for the stylist to close out with their customer sweep up the loose hair from the floor, in walked I guy and because he had requested her she took him Andi had to wait for someone else....Well this story goes on for a bit and I’m not going g to waste any more time, the only reason why I am is because the first review I wrote was kinda nasty and now that I’ve calmed down a bit I had to erase it and rewrite this but short story long I went over to Barbers where I received an excellent haircut so who knows how many you’ve lost already with your system because you’re about to lose another and before you count your money it’s about up take another hit! For The Less...!

I’ve been to several other places to get haircuts and always end up finding something wrong with it after I leave. This is the first place I’ve been to that I felt good about my haircut afterward. I’d highly recommend.
