We rented Moonlight Events venue to hold a Celebration of Life for my son earlier this month. I worked with the owner, Kylan and she was extremely helpful and easy to work with. We had a unique request for an outside vendor and Kylan was very flexible and willing to work with us and the vendor to make sure it could happen. We had an open bar and hired their bartender and servers for the food we catered in. The venue is beautiful, very bright and inviting, love the flooring and chandeliers. There is an adjacent covered outdoor area that was nice for socializing and taking group pictures. I would recommend Moonlight Events for any celebration.
We had a wonderful wedding in early May 2021. What attracted me most in the beginning to this venue is that it meets the needs of all different budgets. From simple and sweet to extraordinary! We were on a budget and still got an amazing experience at Moonlight Events! The venue is so beautiful that if you need to make cuts here or there it goes unnoticed cause of the beauty of the place. Throughout our planning the owner was helpful in recommending Mom and I Cakery for our beautiful wedding cake and also an amazing officiant Nicole! The owner really came through in the end for us.. We chose the Elegant Elopement package, which means we chose to decorate the venue ourselves. My crew arrived late to setup so they were running around trying to get things set up in time and the owner really jumped in to be helpful. As the bride I’m stuck in the bridal room so I have the vision but I can’t come out and tell anyone anything otherwise I would be seen before the wedding. She did a very good job helping direct people on what to do even though she didn’t have to. I’m grateful for my experience, we have amazing photos and forever memories of our big day! ❤️
We needed a place rather last minute with only 3 months to plan. Kylan was very responsive and helped get us through it all. Beautiful venue, all amenities offered. Local Vancouver location with indoor and outdoor possibilities. She even helped do the bridesmaids hair! Had a great experience.
We HIGHLY recommend this venue! We had our baby shower here and had nothing but absolutely wonderful service! I ended up being admitted to the hospital and the original date we scheduled I wasn’t able to make it to. They let us reschedule the date without any questions or fee! The woman Kylan always responded to our messages quickly and is so friendly! She was there the day of the shower and helped setup and tear down as well! I seriously will use this venue in the future when I need one!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We did a reception only event and it was so much fun! Ali was our day-of coordinator and she was thrown into a lot of things and did an amazing job. Ali constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything. The venue has more than enough parking and is rather large. There is a photo booth, a HUGE reception area, chapel, grooms room and bridal room.Kylan didn’t reach out to us at all. We were 3 weeks away from the event and I finally decided to send her an email with the laundry list of questions I had. She asked me to call her ASAP to tell me she couldn’t do numerous things that she promised from our original conversation in 2019. So, I went into full panic mode. She ended up saying she would do A-Z like we talked which calmed some nerves.I had personal decorations for this event because it was a tropical theme, the owner stressed to me that she wanted these decorations 4 days before the event, so she could have all tables ready to go on the day of the event, we live approximately 35 minutes from this place, so it is out of the way. But knowing that the venue would be set up before we got there had me at ease. I sent Kylan pictures of ideas I had, so they had more than enough time to have these things set up.On the day of event, we got there at 2:30PM (event starts at 4:30PM) none of the tables were set up, the floors were absolutely dirty, the bathrooms were dirty, the soap dispensers were empty. I couldn’t believe it, but we didn’t have time to clean the floors, so they remained dirty throughout the event. Why stress about getting those decorations early if you weren’t going to set them up?Neither the signage or gift table were set up. This was all something we had to do last minute. All of these things were promised to be done beforehand, I originally was going to be there only 1 hour before the event because of this promise but she stressed to me to add an hour ($125 charge), only for her employees to not have things ready. Not only this but the owner knew we were going to play a wedding video as the start to our event and the projector wasn’t set up.It appeared there was no communication between the owner and her staff, I don’t believe this was Ali’s fault, but I really have no idea. She had no idea about the projector, none of us knew how to use one, so it was one more task she had, she had so much to do in a small time frame, it was very unfair.When we first signed up for this place, we were told we didn’t need a DJ because she had a microphone we could use, but when the day came there wasn’t one, forcing someone from the bridal party to yell over the crowd to get everyone’s attention.During the event, Ali came up to us multiple times to tell us that people were forming a line for the buffet, I told her we already announced that staff members would be grabbing each table one at a time. She continued to tell us about it and I told her that we couldn’t control it as we were trying to enjoy the day.It was 95 degrees, day of event. The building was SO HOT. I asked Ali about the AC, she claimed everyone kept “opening the doors” and she didn’t want to turn it on. I can’t stop people from opening the doors because it’s so hot. Well, when we showed up the next day, there was a maintenance guy working on the AC and said it was broken. I wish they would have just been honest.We gave the bartender plastic cups for drinks, because we had around 200 guests, so I didn’t want the chance of anything breaking or them not having enough glassware. The bartender took the cups, but never used them and never told me she couldn’t use them. I also never got them back.In our package a candy table was supposed to be provided, 3 weeks before the event she confirmed that we wanted it and on the day of the event, the table was NOT provided. No candy at all…We got charged $50 for people bringing alcohol in and drinking it at the tables. They were never confronted about the problem. We just got charged for it instead.Due to the issues we experienced I would recommend looking elsewhere for your event.
I planned a graduation celebration for my sister and we had full use of the building. Kylan made sure the decorator, DJ and caterer got in on time. Having space for production was good. Im usedbto doing and having everything, at this venue they have everything and want to make sure it goes well for you.
I recommend everyone to get married/have their event at Moonlight Events! I was looking for a venue literally a month before our wedding date. Kylan was very quick to respond and very helpful every step of the way. Its so appreciated. She had our best interest on every decision we made. On wedding day, the Moonlight Events team helped everything go smoothly. I didnt have to worry about a thing! [What every bride needs]. And the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! The team set it up so beautifully; they did an excellent job. Customer service goes a long way and they know how to deliver. Excellent job and thank you so much for having us.
Fantastic venue. The staffing is amazing and really enjoyed them. They really delivered and were so helpful in all elements of the event from start to finish. Highly recommend them.

I totally forgot to leave a review for this amazing company, but I had my mini-wedding/elopement back in October (during a pandemic of all things) and it was everything I could have asked for! I was not looking for an extravagant wedding but they went above and beyond my expectations, I felt like an absolute queen. Kylan was incredibly easy to work with and her hubbys personality while officiating was the perfect type of quirky for my group of nerdy attendees. Well worth the price we paid for the venue and I still cannot get over their gorgeous garden. They were also very professional in how they went about handling a wedding during the pandemic (cleanliness, masks, small group gatherings) and I am still just so blown away with how our big day went. I was initially wanting to have a wedding on Halloween but Kylan talked me into having a wedding on 10.10.2020... Isnt that just the coolest thing? She helped me along the way and I am so grateful for the outcome. 11/10!!!
Moonlight Events is a brand new remodeled space in Vancouver and it is soo beautiful. The owner Kylan did an absolutely amazing job redoing the space. There is an awesome outdoor patio in the back that is great for big parties as well as a little gazebo for weddings. The inside ceremony space is sooo pretty. It has floor to ceiling windows and custom made benches. I seriously loved it so much. Kylan thought of everything you would want in a wedding venue. She has bride and groom getting ready rooms, a big bar, a Photo Booth room, a kitchen, and so much more. I cant wait to come back and photograph an event here soon.
The nicest manager Kylan who just got married so she knows what it’s like planning a wedding during COVID! Very helpful & they include venue cleanup which is amazing, most places don’t!They have tons of offerings & it’s perfect for a bridal shower or in-person class.

My wife and I had our wedding here in February 2020. Great and beautiful venue at a reasonable price! Way cheaper than any venue option in Portland and there’s a good-sized parking lot. The owner was nice, very responsive to questions and communication, and very knowledgeable. She made our wedding as stress-free as possible. Highly recommended!
This is an amazing venue!! I got married there at the end of October and it exceeded our expectations. The owner was very flexible with all our plans. She has a great selection of center pieces and did a fabulous job with the set up. Our friends and family got to enjoy the wedding fully because of all her hard work. She worked with my wedding before the wedding and the day of the wedding to pull off an amazing day. I would recommend this venue for an special occasion.
The venue itself was very beautiful! My wife and I loved the way the wedding turned out. The only downside was that the servers sneaked food behind closed doors when no one was looking before the reception even started. Other than that, we were very pleased with the venue and the service.

Great Christmas experience and venue for the kids. Was a very fun and creative set, with craft areas that the kids enjoyed immensely. Pricing was also very reasonable, especially if you just wanted pictures with Santa. Way less expensive than the mall. Will be back again next holiday season for sure!

After meeting with Kylan and Alisha a couple of times, we conveyed what we wanted to them and then left it in their hands. A good decision on our part because all of the stress of planing was lifted. So clean and crisp; such a beautiful and great space that can be turned into anything you want it to be. Love the ceremony space that can be used for any bride and groom, no matter their background, culture, religion, wants, needs, etc. The waterfall/pond display in the back-drop is gorgeous!
Beautiful venue with an incredible view of the forest! The venue is clean, remodeled, and taken very well care of by the owners. This venue would be perfect for any wedding or event!
The venue was beautiful, for this time of year! The staff was patient with my wife and I while making plans and on our hectic day. The table decorations were simple but beautiful, not too cluttered which was nice! The staff was polite, and was quick with refills on water and taking dirty plates away. They work with you to accomidate little ones who need a highchair or need a place to sleep.Extra props to the staff who figured out a way to put a thin heavy cake topper in our cake for us, because once the event started neither my wife or I had time to even think that far!On a side note these people take a lot of time out of their day to make your event special! Making sure you and your guests are extra polite or making sure the staff gets a bite to eat is a nice way to say thank you and encourage them to keep up the good work!

This is a beautiful venue to have your wedding or other events. It has been updated with beautiful chandeliers, new floors and I love what they have done to this venue. Kylan is wonderful to work with and I so recommend this venue to anybody that needs an event space for their event.
OH wow! If you have not visited this gorgeous Vancouver venue recently I highly recommend scheduling a tour! If you are getting married and need a convenient location, with a clean palette this is a great option! Kylan was super nice and helpful with all of my questions, and I know it is going to be a great success!

This venue is the perfect canvas to make your wedding dream a reality. There are so many extras included and options available. I coordinated a wedding here and the whole process was such a breeze. The owner, Kylan was so helpful from the very first day we booked this venue. She always responded promptly to any questions and was very accommodating with last minute requests. Kylan and her day of coordinator Ally were a dream team. They made my job so easy and were on top of every detail. I definitely recommend Moonlight Events for you next special occasion. I hope to find myself working beside Kylan again soon.
The owner needs to inform her clients of noise ordinances and needs to show respect to the community surrounding her business. It’s well after midnight and the music is still so loud, I can feel the beat. It’s absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to the home owners and residents of nearby apartment complexes! At least the owners of Hostess House respected the law.
I had an opportunity to play an event at Moonlight events, shortly after they opened. Its an absolutely beautiful venue. Kylan was great, she was easy to work with. I look forward to my next event, at Moonlight Events.
The building itself is very beautiful but only after you give it a good Cleanin, iron all the table clothes, sweep the floors and bring your own toilet paper and garbage bags. When we were only allowed to enter the building at 7am for a wedding that starts at 12 that seems a bit unfair but we got professionals working so we can do this right, but when we entered and saw how much work we need to do we started to panic all the table covers were dirty and so wrinkly some werent set up took about 2 hours to fix that to the best we could with limited time, we had tables and dirt on the stage of the ceremony, and to questions as do you have trash bags they said no, do you have paper towels they said no, do you have steamers to iron they said no, so does that mean those table covers never get washed and ironed?? The fridge was full of who knows what, never in my history of coordinating weddings have I seen fridges full of stuff half unwrapped and opened (very unsafe) the cater lady had to move everything to one side and try hard to not get into it all. I mean yea maybe for a low standard wedding thats OK but then again who wants a low standard wedding at that price. I would not recommend this place especially since they are charging for things that we had nothing to do with. And if getting juice on a table cover means serious damage that will get charged thats ridiculous, but then again the table covers dont get washed so I guess yea since they just let people use them one after another. Anyway dont get deceived stay away if you dont want to do all the work and be stressed and then get told on your wedding night that you will be charged so much more for all the damage.

I just had my wedding here on thethe and 14th and they did such an amazing job at setting up and making the place look absolutely beautiful with our wedding colors! Kylan kept in contact with me from the time we booked up until wedding day. Ali was such a good coordinator too and relieved so much of that day of stress for the ceremony by making sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. My son also absolutely loved her! ❤️ it was adorable. I am thankful I found this place when I did and would definitely recommend. So much was included in our package to help make our day as stress free as possible.did I mention they cleaned everything up afterwards!?thank you to the whole team at moonlight events for helping make our special day beautiful and easy!

We rented Moonlight events for our wedding on October 1st, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our wedding was even better than we expected it to be. The staff of the venue was amazing and so caring, they kept fixing my dress and my hair, I felt like a queen! They set up our tables and food and made the space look so beautiful. We will forever be thankful to the owner and the staff for making our wedding day so special and unforgettable.
