I will definitely be using this company again!! Was originally told from another plumber after he put his ear on the wall they will have to Demo entire Kitchen and it will be $2,000+. After that I spoke to Mike which was extremely informative on how to proceed. Booked service for the next day. I have a Navien heat/hot water system. I love the entire concept. It heats my hot water, as well as heat the house. The unit gave in. I found Pipe Doctors online, Mike has great videos, probably why I used him, and he knows what he is doing. There was another company who came first, they had no clue. Mike came, saw the issue, and was able to get me a warranty exchange for the unit. Mike and his company were the utmost professionals, and brought me a cup of coffee to boot. They have my business. I have seen the way Mike works in situations that any other company would make an excuse to walk away. He really does care about his customers and does good honest work. Hes also a super nice guy and really has a good grasp on handling expectations which is huge in this business. He even brings his own floor mat. A true old school plumber that works on modern tankless units. That is a rare combination. Not sure why all the raving reviews? I called them to get a quote on a very simple boiler replacement project and was asked to pay $275 for them to even talk to me. And when I asked them for a ball park estimate, which btw is a basic question every one has when enquiring about a project, the person on the phone very rudely said it will be a million dollars and hung up. Wondering, if they get offended by such a basic question, asked politely, how would their customer service respond when you have real issues with their installation? There are loads of other responsive and polite installers around and I would recommend avoiding these guys if possible. Thanks.

They didn’t screw on a pipe in our gas tank correctly, it was leaking gas, and we didn’t realize until a year later. thank god nothing blew up because that is very dangerous.

I had such a great experience with Mike and his team from Pipe Doctor. I reached out online at 9 PM. Mike immediately exchanged a few emails with me that night to understand my problem. He immediately diagnosed that the hard knocking in the steam heating system and water spitting out of the vents might be caused by a wet return problem. He was right. Upon replacing the wet return, my heating system is now so quiet and heating efficiently. I’m grateful for his professionalism, work and on time performance.

I call pipe doctor plumbing because there was a hot water heater valve at my grandpas house that needed to be replaced because the hot water heater wasnt working at his house so my grandpa and I went to a plumbing supply store but they didnt had what we were looking for and the hot water heater was 30 years old and the pipe doctor plumbing company didnt had replacement valves for any hot water heater valves that were 30 years old.

Two technicians came. They showed up a few minutes earlier than scheduled. Due to COVID-19, they had their masks, gloves, and kept their distance and did it in such a polite manner. The fan on the AC unit was working but the unit was not blowing cool air nor would the compressor come on. The compressor was not receiving a signal from the unit. The drain pan was filled with water. They vacuumed the water, added some drain tablets, replaced the capacitor (which probably didn’t need to be replaced as it was working when they bypassed the relay). All done in 30 min. I’m very happy with the outcome and would call on them again. Regina B.

I had a forced air furnace installed today with a steam humidifier (controlled by an outdoor sensor). Mike (the owner) and his crew did an exceptional job with the new installation. This is the first and only time I gave 5 star ratings to a plumbing company. From the scheduling process, to showing up on time and well equipped to do the job - Mike is the best! I had a leaking tankless boiler (leak in the heat exchanger). They were able to arrange a warranty replacement approval from Navien, obtain a replacement unit and completely re-do the setup virtually overnight. Im impressed and would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

They initially provided an evaluation and recommendation to resolve the concern we had with the cooling issue in our home. They then gave us an estimate for the agreed upon solution. After having a long history of bad installation, in-knowledgeable service we finally came across Mike and Pipe Doctors.We decided to use the warranty replacement of our unit to update and zone our system and clean up the renegade piping that had been left over the last 85years.Today we have a close to a perfect system. The zoning just works. We had a couple of minor hiccups that Mike tended to without hesitation.By far the best experience I have had in NYC and I would recommend him and crew to anyone in need of heating installation.

Our boiler stopped working on a Friday, and it turned out that we needed a new boiler. Pipe Doctor (Mike) was recommended to us by a trusted source. We checked the company’s reviews; all good. We called Mike Friday afternoon, and he was at our house the next evening with a proposal for a hanging tankless unit (heat and hot water combined). We signed with Pipe Doctor and the unit was installed on Tuesday 1/7/20.Mike and his crew completed the job promptly and efficiently by mid-afternoon Tuesday. The new heating system setup looks great, and the system is working quite well. The unit takes up a fraction of the room of our old boiler and hot water tank, and it appears to deliver as much heat and hot water as our old system.Mike and his crew were very courteous and careful about their work. I found Pipe Doctor, purely by accident. I was looking or a way to light the pilot on my gas heater. I asked google the question and up pops a you tube video by Pipe Doctors. After I lit the pilot I still had issues, so I called Pipe Doctor which happens to be in my town. A gentleman named Mike came to look at the heater, and I have to say, it was the best money I ever spent. He was friendly, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. A true pleasure to be around. He even explained some current issues and possible issues that may come about. The thing is, he didnt just tell me what was wrong, he educated me to a point where he will now be back at my house to do all the work he suggested. Mike is the only plumbing and heating person I will use and I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I ve like many others dealt with Mike who was professional courteous and punctual. Told me what my problem was right away. Knowledgeable professional. About a day or two ago, my AC system took forever to cool the house. Mike was here this morning and did a thorough inspection of my 50yr old centrl air condition system. He found it was 3lbs low of R22, so he topped it off with recovered R22 for now. In 2000 I had converted my furnace to gas and the contractor replaced the A frame and removed the freon and replaced it with R22. That was 18yrs ago! There had been no problems till the other day. Apparently theres a leak somewhere. He checked the obvious places (fittings, connections, fill valves, etc.), but nothing was evident. I will have the level checked next year before I decide to replace the system. Mike was very professional, clean and courteous. Great job! I recommend your services highly.

After returning home on Thanksgiving evening, I noticed that the heat would not come on. I was referred to Pipe Doctor by a colleague the next morning.
