The guy there is very rude. Called first guy was very nice when we got there and notice i was black he became very rude. Same day i asked my friend who is not black to call and go and he was very nice to her. He did the same thing to my mother. I wish i could give a negative star. DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE

The manager or owner of this Budget rental car is of Indian decent. I spoke with him to change my car out, and he advised us to come in. Once, we arrived and seen we were African American he refused to change the car. He stated there were no cars. available even though there were 30 cars on the lot. These foreigners have joined the racial discrimination against black people in Vallejo. Black People Matter Too.

If I could, I would give this location a zero. My husband and I rented a vehicle from San Francisco that had major engine issues and when I called this location to replace the vehicle, the man on the phone was disrespectful and cared more about the amount of gas in the tank than our safety. He also refused to match the level of vehicle we had rented and offered us the smallest car available as the only option. We were then greeted with grace and empathy by the wonderful people at the Napa location!In my opinion, budget/Avis should not allow such people to operate their business on behalf of their brand name.

I made last minute reservation for A 7 seater when the airport was completely out of trucks..i called him literally a hour befor pick up and he got me in a nice car fast and easy..and even though i returned a day late he was still very nice about it..btw this is my 4th time renting with this company!!

This to me is the best place in town to rent a car. The rates are good, the cars are ready and clean. The person at the counter was helpful, only took like 10 minutes to check out and less than that to return. This was the second time I rented from Budget but wont be the last.

Reserved a car online. Picked it up at the time indicated, extended the reservation an extra day hassle free. Drop off was easy breezy! Will use them again and will recommend them to others.

I rented a truck with trailer to make a cross country move with. They had it ready to go on the date I had requested and answered all my questions about the trailer and hookup thoroughly. I ran into some trouble the next day when the truck battery wouldnt start and I had to jump it after stopping it. Before I left Vallejo, they were able to swap the truck out and worked very hard amidst an even flow of customers requesting service. They were friendly and when they had more staff come in, everything went very smoothly! Thanks for your help!

Over priced and kinda rude

This was a good place for value. The staff was very friendly. I had an issue with not having satellite radio in the vehicle. Sam took care of that by having me return & switch to another vehicle without any extra delay. The radio signal still wasnt received 45 mins into my trip. I called the service center who couldnt help me. I called Sam back & Im sure that he could hear the frustration / dissatisfaction in my voice. He worked persistently to fix the issue & in 15 mins, it was done. I had the radio signal. He even called back to make sure that I was satisfied with everything & apologized. After returning the car, he apologized again, but I told him that his persistence to make my trip a nice one was worth it. Im not sour but very appreciative of his efforts!.....Thats customer service & providing value!

Hubby booked/reserved/scheduled a 15 truck on 2-21-19 for our move this Saturday. He received a call THIS MORNING that they dont have a vehicle for us. They refused to comp mileage if there was a vehicle at another branch. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

The worst treatment Ive EVER received from a rental Company. While confirming my reservation by phone for a truck rental, the Vallejo location manager told me there were no trucks available. As we were speaking the 2nd confirmation email arrived on my computer. It said, Time to Pack and Move...You truck is waiting. The manager, Sam told me that this email is automated and therefore didnt make any difference. He couldnt help what the computer was saying!? He said the computer will continue to send this information, even if its not true. I had already planned and paid for movers to load the truck. I called 11 times and spoke with customer service at various locations. I was promised a call back, I was hung up on after waiting on a long phone tree, I was sent to a Noisy, ear-piercing fax machine, and I was called, a liar. This poor excuse for an American Company, is a scam and a rip-off with a LONG phone tree to keep you waiting and pass you along to another uninformed and clueless person. They respect your valuable time about as much as they keep their commitments to you...which is NOT AT ALL! The only time you can get customer service is when you are signing up to rent a truck or attempting to cancel a reservation. Its been a horrible, gut-wrenching and insulting experience during a very stressful time. AVOID this company! RUN! Dont EVEN DRIVE BY! Someone should sue the YOU-KNOW_WHAT out of them!

Rude and hostile. Treats customers like the enemy rather than working with them. I have a feeling most bad vibes can be avoided if either the customer resolves things or if the owner would be a little more polite.

Worst place to rent a truck when youre moving. Made reservations twice and both times when we arrived there were no trucks available even though in the morning manager had mentioned they had a truck. When we arrived second he blatanly denied having the truck he had mentioned in the morning available. Complete waste of time I dont understand how these places stay in business with such lack of customer service and reliability.

Worst place to get car, they don’t clean them properly or have the cars you requested, be sure to call in advance to make sure they have the car you want.
