Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. I have never had a bad experience in 15+ years with in several areas of Vallejo. When my dog went missing and I couldn’t find him anywhere, recology was the last place I checked. The staff member was so compassionate in telling me they picked him up after being hit by a car. They let me cry and talked me through it. Just recently, I ordered a special pick up. I had my load ready and an Xmas tree I was still trying to figure out what to do with. They took it for me even though it was 10 feet away. They cleaned up everything like nothing was ever there. I’m extremely happy with them.

They are billing people in advance for quarterly payments but this is not what is told to you when purchasing service. They tell you, you pay for service month by month but now they are billing my landlord with hidden fees like I haven’t been paying my services. Their offices are not open to accept cash or debit payment and I can’t even find my account online. Then when I call and ask how much I owe the amount is different every time I speak with some one new. This business is a scam at its finest taking advantage of old vallejo residents and people that just pay their bills on time. Reported this business to the better business bureau. The customer service is terrible and they hardly ever answer the phone, blaming covid for having offices closed, but yet they pick up germs from the trash from every house in Vallejo? Someone needs to put them out of business this place is stealing from Ballejo’s residents . Using covid as an excuse for them to bill people without question and then say that they can’t open offices up but I can go grocery shopping right down the street. Shaking my head absolutely disgusting business ethics.

Overall good experience with recology. Have called for multiple bulky item pick ups and the staff has been able to schedule for me without any hiccups. I also enjoy the free cardboard recycling on the weekend at their facility. Ive found it us easier to reach them via phone in the mornings as opposed to the afternoons.

It’s sad. I pay my hard earned money just so The garbage man can pick up the trash (trash can) when he feels like it.This is ridiculous. But they make sure to pick up the recycling though so I guess 2 stars for that... Please fix this issue in West Vallejo.

Why is it so expensive??

The phone was answered quickly. I did not appreciate the abrupt tone of voice and lack of helpfulness from the staff member. From the minute she answered it was obvious she didnt want to talk to anyone. Very abrupt, unhelpful. In the past I have had a good experience with these people. It was not as if I was asking for something for free. I never even had a chance to mention that last week they did not pick up my broken green bin and replace it with a new one as promised.

For the passed 3 weeks now my blue recycle been has only been picked up once. I paid them in advanced and they cant even do their jobs 😑

Ive had very god experience with Recology Vallejo and great customer service skills.

My garbage has not been picked up for two weeks. Ive called twice and the best explanation they can give is... Im not sure why your garbage has not been picked up and I will remind the driver to pick it up. ???? Really!!!

What company only except cash to get your services back up sounds like a scam to me, since when can’t you use a typical debit card . They’re telling me it takes up to five days to process a debit card so I will miss trash unless i come in with cash . The Operator then said “if you paid your bill on time we wouldn’t have this problem “ wouldnt it be nice if everyone always has money to pay all their bills on time. I guess everybody’s not as fortunate as the operator at the trash department sounds like a trashy person sadly there’s no one to complain too and you’re held hostage to only go through the Vallejo Recology with no other option In American Canyon just beware when you have to do at this company know it’s going to be a headache from the start

The waste disposal crew does not know how to pick up trash. Every week they pick up our garbage bins they somehow leave random pieces of trash on our driveway. Seriously, their job is to pick up trash how hard can it be?

My recycling bin was missed last week I did not call and complain because everyone makes mistakes.Today I checked my bin again it was not picked up now I am feeling some kind of way all the other neighbor bins are picked up.I only gave 1 star because I am forced to rate the service.We have had 2 previous Recology employees that deserved 5 stars but this new employee is making think he has a personal issue.

Noise of beeping from 4AM until wee hours. This station should never been allowed in this area. They violate noise ordinances, EPA. City should never approved this location of this facility. Too much noise!

What frustrating company to deal with! No organization and really crappy customer service. We’ve been trying to get our cans exchanged THREE times. They tell us to leave the containers out for someone to pick up and each time NO ONE comes by. They reassure us on the phone that it will be taken care of but the day comes and goes with no one coming by. Pathetic business practices honesty. What a shame that this is the only garbage collection agency in Vallejo.

They dont listen their driver took the lock for the trash when I talk to them and show them the video data even won a lock to the video they say you still have to pay For the lock and their driver broke the gate and always I have to call for them to come pick up the trash They have the bed service I ever Seen But we dont have no Other choice

Worst customer service ever!!! I call to make an appointment and when I got to the place with all the garbage IT WAS CLOSE!!! The office hours were from Monday to Friday 8 am 5pm. NOT TRUE..!!! Please do not even bother!!!

Oops! I overfilled my garbage can so the garbage man left the garbage....he said the lid didnt close...now what ... I will have twice as much garbage next week.
