After receiving an exorbitant quote from the Land Rover Dealership for an oil change ($450) on my 2018 Discovery I spent some time googling certified garages in the area and came across Milts. They quoted me less than half what the dealership quoted and got me booked in for the next week. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions. Took good care of my vehicle and did a general inspection on top of the oil change at no extra charge to make sure nothing was amiss. Will definitely be bringing my vehicle back!

People at Milt’s do take care three vehicles. They are very honest with the sevice they do on all of them, they will tell you if such service needs to be done or not. Milt’s was great. We dropped our car off on Monday with an expected finish date of Wednesday - they called us Tuesday night to let us know it would be ready for pickup as soon as they opened. I won’t hesitate to come back.

Found the service to be professional and most satisfactory. Trustworthy as far asinformation i was being given about vehicle. I am new to town and will definitely make Milts my designated car maintenance place. One small slip was that my right turn signal needed bulb replacement which was noted but not done when I picked up the car.But no biggie the larger more urgent issues where addressed.

I came to the Shop with an idea of what could be wrong, according to the Vallejo Dealership. They wanted to bill me in excess of $600 for two things that didnt need to be replaced. I did not trust what Vallejo Dealership recommended and sought a second opinion.Keith from Milts Service was very attentive and after doing diagnostics on my Toyota, the service the Dealership was pressing me to have, was not necessary.My family will continue going to Keith at Milts Garage. So I called and was scheduled the next day for a diagnostic to find the cause of our vehicle breaking down. We received the diagnosis which wasn’t good. So on to plan B. It’s good to know we have a reliable honest automotive place in town to service our vehicles in the future.

Tom and Keith were helpful, hospitable and understanding, those guys and the mechanics in the shop know their trade. I believe their work is more than likely superior to the dealerships on any given day, so if you dont want to pay an arm and a leg but you need it done right the first time Id recommend going to Milts ASAP.

Fantastic service for a great price. Got me out the door and certified for my brake and light inspection in 3.5 hours from drop off. I just moved to the area from the peninsula.. I own an X5, which are prone to particular issues expensive repairs, as well as very difficult diagnostic issues that require very specific experience. In my one experience, the crew at Milts demonstrated skill, and competence, and wound up discovering several issues that were related very simple to maintain issues, one of which was under warranty. The entire service was under $70. When driving a BMW, sadly, you accept that the cost of repairs is much higher than other vehicles. Milts is one of the best repair shops I have ever been to, honest, competent and most importantly they were not trying to influence me to make decisions to benefit them. Decided to return to Milts, to have my car checked out and repaired this time. Once again I am very pleased with the end result. My 2014 Charger RT drives like new again. Keith had to locate the clunky noises from my 1998 car. I requested an evaluation of the cars future reliability. Keith didn’t want me to spend big money on my car. He agreed with me that I should get a newer car that would be safer and reliable. They have been solid to me in the past. I told Keith when I get a newer car, I would bring it to them to get any bugs out.

The work gets done. i have used them to replace belts, radiator, and other projects. they might leave some grease on your seat. they might leave a tool under your hood on your battery perhaps. for you to discover later when you open your hood. they might not correctly install your radiator and create a transmission fluid leak. they might not fully refund the $330 dollars you have to pay to correct their work if you dont go through their warranty system that you might not know about. then again they might not. that was my experience. they are very friendly. very professional at the front desk. and want to help. so dear owner of milts what you can do next time. is fully refund and pay more attention to details to earn my trust and commitment as a customer. given my experience i think 3 stars is generous.

I emailed to make appointment for a 900am smog and got text confirmation of the date and time. I walked in, told them I had a 9am appointment for a smog and they already had my information. These guys texted me pictures of what they found and walked me through the findings on speaker phone while I looked at the pics. In the end they told me I would be better off buying a new car than making all the needed repairs and gave me advice on buying a new car and which warranties were worthwhile. Milt’s is the best! They always go the extra mile. I had an appointment and surprisingly got a vaccine shot appointment, so I cancelled. I rescheduled and then forgot to drop my car off at 8AM as agreed. I called Milt’s at 1PM, apologized and wondered if they could fit me in. I was driving to Death Valley the next day (1200 miles round trip!) so it was very important that I have my service done. Thomas and Keith made it happen and even went and bought air filters for my car that they didn’t have in stock! Milt’s is #1 in Vallejo, hands down.

I have been using Milts Service Garage for the past 6 years for all of my maintenance and repair work with excellent results. I have never had an experience that was less than ideal. All the work has been completed on time as promised. The cost of service is competitive and in line with others in the area but more importantly they always stand by their work.

Even though Milts couldnt help with my specific problem, they were very helpful and referred me to a welder who could fix the issue.

I went to Milts after discovering my catalytic convertor was no longer valid for my car to pass smog. They got the correct convertor and replaced it the same day. Everyone was polite and helpful. I was advised of everything as it was happening. I also had them smog the car. I am a very happy customer and will be going back to Milts. As a women I felt no talked down to me. All repairs were documented and explained to me. I highly recommend Milts.

Excellent job they found out my issues and found out that someone else that tried to address my issue did damage rather than repair. They went on to fix everything and made sure it was working 100%. Recommend and will bring it again. My issue broken blower and resistor. It only cooled and warmed at high speeds nothing at low speeds.

They did diagnostic on car for $135.00 said it had a lot different codes on it. Said it needs a new air suspension pump and it would cost $2013.00and maybe new leveling sensor didn’t know till got into it. But with all the things they seen they could get the car in good shape for $3700.00. Couldn’t afford it came and got it, but never got the diagnostic papers that I paid for. Had to take it to a garage in Concord. They fixed the codes and found all it was a hole in the right front air strut. Replace it rides find. Don’t think you new want was wrong with it that why I didn’t get any diagnostic papers that I paid for. I would like to have the paper work email to me. I had to paid for another diagnostic.

Milts provided me with excellent service for my 13 BMW 335i. After my water pump died, I had it towed to Milts service garage where Keith did a stellar job of coordinating d the repairs and getting the warranty company to cover the repairs. They not only repaired the water pump, but found several other issues that I wasnt aware of, and was able to get the warranty company to cover those, as well. The car went in on Monday and I had it back by Thursday, and it runs great! All in all, my experience was positive and I would highly recommend Milts for top notch, professional service to anyone.

Used Milts for a Pre Purchase Inspection on a vehicle and I was blown away by the attention to detail they provided.

Worst mechanic ever! Took 4 weeks to get my Mini Cooper back in proper working condition. Kept getting conflicting excuses for taking so long. When they returned the car, it was missing important parts. Owner refused to take responsibility, yet found one of the parts he claimed he didnt have. He eventually provided the other parts that were missing, but left them to me to install. He tried to blame me for the missing parts and his excessive delays, made conflicting excuses that strain credulity, and lied in his final dissertation of the services he performed. Overcharged for services as well, e.g. charged 2 hours to replace a fuel pump I can replace in 30 minutes (go ahead and time me), and charged 3 hours to replace a brand new low pressure pump I installed that was not defective, and then swap it back. Lastly, they were sloppy. There were white grease marks on the hood and front fenders, as well as on the black engine trim and radiator overflow cap. I have no confidence that these people know Mini Coopers like they say they do.

Details of work to be done communicated with clear understanding, share optional extras that need repair but not mandatory +, and there was a miscue at the end.If the warranty covers certain items and my obligation is a certain amount which saves a few dollars, then customer service is not supposed to suggest that I pay all because it’s only $40. This is where the stop 🛑 sign and signal of valued ethics come in. This is a no no which can derail credibility and potential high value customers stemming from me. Jury is still out for that comment.

Great place good and honest people, I dropped my Ford off to have them look It over, I was planning on driving it down to LA, I pre-authorized belt, radiator hoses, and a noisy AC clutch, replacement if needed.They advised that they will look it over and hope to return it to me bye Friday, not a problem see you thenWell 4 hours later, they called me to say my truck can be picked up and only found that the battery post needed maintenance.I believe if I would have taken it to another independent shop I would have easily paid $300-700 in repair cost.
