Ive worked in vet clinics for the last 10 years, so I have extremely high standards on what I expect out of a Vet office and staff. This clinic was quick and compassionate when one of my chickens had an emergency. The vet answered my numerous questions over multiple phone calls, and took the time to call me back on a weekend day. I will recommend them to everyone, and continue on seeing them with my other pets.

We have had three of our cats in Northside Animal Hospitals care. The staff are friendly and the docs seem very knowledgeable.We had one cat that had numerous health issues so we were in and out frequently for a while. Dr. Graham was informative and seemed invested in the health of our little one. Each medical issue was slowly examined and the doc made his best judgement each time as to what the next step would be. He explained the purpose of each medicine and answered each of our questions, as silly as they may have been. Unfortunately, this cat suddenly passed away so we ordered a necropsy. Dr. Graham did a great job at comforting us and explaining to us exactly what had happened. For me, that was the point where I was going to determine whether to continue using them for my other pets, but they did NOT let me down. It was clear to me that they did everything they could to comfort and to save our little one. They also helped set up the process of cremation and were respectful the entire time.There are occasions where you can tell the docs are stressed and seem impatient and other times where they have taken a little longer than usual, but all instances have been reasonable and understood. The actually quality of pet care that is done here seems great. I trust my pets in their care and would recommend.

My first experience at Northside Animal Hospital was nothing short of amazing. The staff here welcomes you and they are also taking all precautions when it comes to Covid. They were very informative and made sure I knew everything I needed to know as a first time puppy owner. They also made him feel comfortable while getting checked out. All around great place to take your pet too and I’m glad I’ll be working with this vet for all my puppy needs.

We have been taking our animals to Northside for about 8 years. We love the entire staff, from the office personnel, to the techs, and both of the vets. They are all, very professional, and they take such good care of our fur babies. But more than that, they genuinley care about their clients, both 2 and 4-leggeded. They have stayed over and come in late for emergency visits for us, with no complaints or attitudes. They have called to check on our animals multiple times after we took them home, just to make sure they were getting better. They have even cried with me and offered their heartfelt sympathies whenever one of our animals passed. I couldnt imagine taking my animals to anywhere else but Northside. I am so thankful we found them.

NAH has great reviews which is one of the reasons why we brought our puppy there. They also offer the most services in our area from what we could tell. Vet, grooming and kennel services. The technicians and the vets have been great. We had an emergency and they were extremely helpful. They even called to check in on or puppy.

We boarded our cat for our first trip away from her because they said they would play with her and give her lots of attention. When we picked her up they couldn’t find her cat carrier, eventually they found it. They lost the lid to her cat food and the comfort toy we brought her which was also a toy my son got for his bday. Lastly our cat smelled like she spent the whole week rolling around it cat piss or worse being sprayed by other cats. I was told there was a lot of new people there at the time our cat was boarded and there was lack of training that caused all of the mishaps. We payed so much more than our vet would have charged just so she would have extra cuddles but the level of irresponsibility that they displayed with her things really makes me question how well she was cared for.

Northside is so amazing!! I called on Thursday and they had me walk in Friday to repair a hematoma on my dogs ear!!! Quick, professional, and so caring for my sweet dog. Favorite vet we have ever used!

I had just moved to Valdosta and was in search of new vet for my chihuahua. Based on reviews, I wanted to go the best location. We were scheduled based on being a walk-in and I dropped my pet off. I understand that means the doctor schedules based on availability (or not). As a new client, my pet would have to have a complete examination. Now this part was partly my fault because when told **complete examination**, I misunderstood that to include blood work and possibly x-rays (just based on previous vet experiences as a new client). My chihuahua ended up being at the vet for an entire day. I had to call several times just to check to ensure everything was okay because no one bothered to call and keep me abreast on what was happening (or not). Maybe its just my standards and/or expectations for the care of my pet but when I picked up my pet, I expected someone to provide details of her checkup (since I had explained that my pet was experiencing seizures (which I had emailed ahead of time). I was expecting a follow up appointment or some sort of communication but NOTHING. By this time I was already annoyed.I took my pet to another vet because just like a parent with a child looking for suitable daycare, I felt as a pet parent, my pets care was not being met at Northside Animal Hospital. I was told that all new pets would have a thorough examine which included x-rays and labs (blood work). I also explained about the seizures that my pet was experiencing. The doctor explained everything to me in detail (breakdown of what I was paying for) and answered any questions. My pet ended up being prescribed seizure medication and the doctor noted that the white blood cell count was high (concerning) and an area on the x-rays was a concern because it was not known if it was the intestines or uterus so an ultrasound was pending. The seizures had almost stopped but my pet began having a discharge over in the morning that would not stop.....Needless to say after the vet examined my pet, it was diagnosed that the cause was due to pyometra and emergency surgery took place. Recovery is ongoing but my thoughts always go back to the matter could have been worse if I had not trusted my instincts and taken my pet somewhere else. The service my pet received was not thorough and my pet might not be here today if I had not had the presence of mind to go elsewhere to get answers. Just like we know our bodies, we know our pets and when you dont get the reponse you expect from one doctor, you have to seek answers from another.

They regularly clip two kitties’ nails, and give my current brood their shots. I have two who eat prescription food, so I’m there regularly to buy food, insulin, and syringes. They are professional, and help me take care of my kitties. I’m much appreciative.

My daughter is a college student and rescued a cat. She called around to get the cheapest prices for shots bc she is on a budget. They gave her the cheapest price so she went to them. When she got there they proceeded to tell her how the cat needed a Leukemia test and a whole spill about that, mind you nothing about it was mentioned over the phone when she called to get prices and she did tell them it was a rescue and she was in college. My daughter said ok, as in ok to the fact that they recommended it, but they never asked her if she wanted it or agreed to it nor did they tell her it was an extra $66 so she could make an informed decision. They took the cat back and gave him shots and done the test. Needless to say when she checked out it was $155, she went there specifically bc they quoted her approximately $65-70 for the visit. I just don’t appreciate them not making it clear to her and point blank asking her if it was something she did want to do bc it is an extra $66. She looks younger than she is so I just feel they took advantage. I called the office yesterday and spoke to the lady who did it but she didn’t have any remorse and didn’t object that she didn’t tell her the cost or specifically ask, she just assumed, so great job, you screwed a college kid on a budget who was trying to do a good thing for a stray cat. I gave two stars instead of one bc she was nice during the phone call except for talking over me sometimes but still nice.

First time leaving my dog Smoke with them instead of sitting in lobby while he is being serviced. I made appointment for grooming purposes and for a vaccine. Prices are affordable and my 7 year old Pitt loved the staff and so do I.

Fantastic experience. The staff greeted me and explained in detail exactly what was going to happen when my dog was having surgery. They completed the surgery and did an excellent job! The incision closed smoothly, we went back to get the stitches removed and they were done in a flash. Hardly any wait and the staff was very friendly. This was our first visit to this place and I wont hesitate to go back. The doctor took time to explain everything and I didnt feel rushed. I felt like they truly cared about my baby dog.

Wonderful people! I had never been here before, but my dog was in need of a neuter and our regular vet was not available for some time. I called Northside Animal Hospital and was politely greeted on the phone by a woman. She was knowledgeable and helpful and they had an opening so we booked the appointment. My dog is not the easiest to work with lately, and putting him in an unfamiliar place with strangers I knew wouldnt make things any easier. I wanted to make sure I let them know that and they were so understanding and assured me it would all be okay. The young man who came out to get my dog, was polite and professional but he also had a lighthearted sense of humor which made me feel better about leaving my dog the day. Everything went great. Doctor Myrick was amazing! Not only did she call me during the day to update me about my dogs condition post recovery, but she also took the time to meet with me when I picked him up! She answered all of my questions, and gave me lots of great information. Everyone was so supportive making it a really stress free experience. I want to add that not only did his surgery go well, but his recovery was perfect. I did exactly what Doctor Myrick instructed me to do with regard to his post surgery days, and my dog did really well. The place was also really clean inside and out. You could tell they take pride in the sanitation of the hospital and the parking lot was clean with a well landscaped layout. The only thing I would suggest is putting up a dog poop station outside (the barrel with the poop bags on the pole). My dog nervous pooped while we were waiting for them to open. I picked it up once he was inside, but there was no trash receptacle anywhere that I saw so I had to take the poop home to dispose of in the trash.Overall, a stress free experience, amazing group of skilled professional people. I would definitely recommend and use their services again. Thank you all again for taking such great care of my dog!

For one thing, this vet’s office is open on Saturdays! That’s been a very tremendous help for me because I travel a lot for work and sometimes I have trouble getting to the vet’s office during the week. This office also has good reasonable prices and products (the latest flea and tick meds, heart worm etc.). Also this vet’s office tends to have a flexible schedule unlike ... Baytree Animal Hospital (at Baytree they told me i would have to put my dog on a 2-month waiting list for a dental cleaning). At Northside Animal hospital I was able to get my dog’s teeth clean like 4 days after scheduling an appointment. I’m definitely coming back to this office. Great staff. Great service!

My Name is Barbara Radabaugh My puppy tanner passed away on may 1st of parvo. I had no clue what this was until another vet we took him to told us .well his sister gracie was having the same symptoms as my baby tanner did my father in law has been taking his puppies there for years and he told me i should take her there well.she had parvo after spending 8 days in the hospital she was able to come they saved my gracie girl dr Graham is awesome i will not ever take my babies anywhere else and the stuff is so kind and helpful also.

We are new to the area and very happy to have found the Northside Animal Hospital. We could tell that everyone from the staff at the front desk to the vet techs and Dr Graham saw my pets care as important. They took the time to explain the plan of care and made sure I had an opportunity to ask any questions. We plan on making Northside Animal Hospital our vet office for any other needs for our animals (5 dogs and 4 cats). We definitely recommend them to anyone.

The whole staff is awesome!🧡 From the initial interaction, I found them to be very professional, people-oriented, pet-friendly, and customer oriented. The 2 ladies at the front desk make me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in.🧡🥰 I was able to get an appt for my fur baby within 5 days!😍 I appreciate that, especially because she was overdue for several shots, but I was very unhappy with her previous doctor.😢 They have 2 separate doors...one dogs and one for cats...another plus! Roxie is the typical dog...prejudice against cats!😩 But yet, she loves 2-legged animals...people! She never met a stranger...smh! Also, her appt went very well. There wasnt a long wait time for the nurses and vet to do everything. It was fairly quick, especially for a first appt. I got the best news ever! Roxie no longer has heartworms!!!!!!! (Shoutout to Dr. Bassham & his staff in Quitman!) Dr. Myron even brought the test in to show me. This shows the transparency this clinic has and helps me to build a trusting relationship from the beginning! He even told me about a 12-month shot versus Roxie taking a monthly pill for heartworm prevention...music to my ears! To add cherries to my ice cream, the prices are very responsible! I would recommend this place to anyone thats in need of great vet for tour fur baby!😍😍😍

Hey the entire staff is very personable and sweet. Very knowledgeable about the products they have. And great to my two dogs that are like my children, I would not take them anywhere else.

If youre looking for a veterinarian who can give accurate diagnosis without having to worry about being milked for appointments as a way to make more profit for the clinic, then I would suggest you to go to Northside Animal Hospital. However on the flipside if you prefer to not interact with very rude and disrespectful customer service - specifically their receptionist Carol - who are more troubled with patients asking for help from the clinic or scheduling a visit to seek medical treatment at their clinic, I would highly suggest seeking another animal clinic.Northside Animal Hospital is on the more expensive side for veterinarians which can seen as a good thing and a bad thing. They do over charge their services and medicine they provide, but overall if you are care-giver for a pet or animal, money shouldnt come down to quality of medical care.

My Irish doodle came in with head trauma borderline about to die, when I found her on the ground in the room I freaked out I ran to the car and drove to north side animal hospital....They got me in as fast as possible and took care of my puppy.... on our second day and she is healing so fast and getting better......We love this place this Ill be our place to go for our check ups from no on!!!!!!!!Very nice and professional I came late one day thought they were still open but they were closed and doctor still let me in after hours time see my dog..... and took time to explain and talk to me.... I love yall!!!!!

My husband and I have been taking our pets to Northside Animal Hospital for years. The doctors and staff are excellent and really do a great job caring for the animals. We have been coming here for a long time and have never had any issues what so ever. I highly recommend.

Ive heard about some really great places around town but this place is the real deal! The staff are always polite and the Vets are top of the line. I had my pups ears cropped and they look absolutely amazing. The recovery was seem less.

This was my first time there I found the doctor and staff to be very friendly and helpful to all my needs. I brought in my valley bulldog and my yellow lab the doctor showed us how to train our valley pup to be less agressive when doing specific things which will help. I will now use him as my regular vet for all my pets he really did a great job. I do want them to try and get care credit approved it helps me so much with big expenses such as surgeries, Heart injections, flea and tick medicine as I have 5 animals and that is a huge concern. Other than that I really love everything

I truly cannot say enough great things about the team at NAH. I brought in my Bella the Boston for euthanasia. I live in Jax but my mom is in Valdosta and I knew I needed her with me. So, she called around and found NAH. The day we arrived, they gave us plenty of time to say our final goodbyes. They explained everything in detail, so we would know what to expect. Truly the saddest moment of my life, handled with dignity and grace by the team at NAH. I had Bella cremated and today my mom received her remains. She sent me a photo and I cannot thank you enough for the special way she was presented and the beautiful container. Very well done! A+++

Misdiagnosed my grand puppy and wanted to put him to sleep. He was taken to another vet and is doing fine now. This vet billed my son $2000. Dollars and if we would of listened we wouldnt have our pup with us now. I would not recommend using this clinic.
