We have used Bishops for several jobs at home and dry cleaning. I recently called on them for several large jobs where I work. I am as picky as they come and have always been 100% satisfied with Bishops. Hands down the best dry cleaning service in Valdosta.

I took an expensive business suit, 2/3 years old, worn maybe two dozen times, to Bishops Cleaners for cleaning & pressing, when I got it back, it was damaged beyond repair. Bishops showed me a story about how that can happen to old suits, and that they would not take any liability for the damage.I took the suit to the place of purchase, Jos A Bank, for an opinion. They had the exact same suit on the rack for sale, $800 retail. They wrote a letter saying that its very common for cleaners to apply too much heat in the pressing process, permanently damaging the suit.I sent the letter to Bishops. They replied with their point of view, citing how suits that are not made properly can have the internal lining separate from the external material.Although this happened almost a year ago, every time I look in my closet & see that suit in the Bishops Cleaners bag, unable to wear it, I get frustrated. Its so bad, I cant even donate it to charity.Jos A Banks points the finger of blame at Bishops and the cleaning industry.Bishops Cleaners says the problem is in the manufacturing process used in the garment industry.Whos right & whos wrong? Either way, I dont have a suit. The customer loses.

Im confident that Mr. Ali Gon is confused. Bishop Cleaners sold the retail part of their drycleaning business to Big B Cleaners, and this experience sounds like he was dealing with Big B, not Bishop. This was an understandable confusion, since Big B continued to use the Bishop name on their drycleaning invoices, even though they were not authorized to do so. I ASSURE you that if you contact Steve Bishop, the owner of Bishop Specialty Cleaners (as its now known), he will talk to you, while the owner of Big B is notorious for avoiding upset customers...even his employees will tell you that. Big B has NO relationship to Bishop, other than renting space in their former locations to Big B, and even that relationship no longer exists.
