Made appointment for my puppy, over the phone was given a price quote of $80, for 2 shots he needed only. My 28yr old son dropped of our puppy. Ended up to be $185.26!!! At pick up. This is what they texted me, because no one answered my calls after that:“We cannot give an exact quote until we do an exam on a patient. If you called to get prices on various services, that is not an exact quote, that is provided after the pet is seen and we do not proceed until we get the owners permission. It appears that we did everything we were supposed to and were up front with cost. Maybe you shouldnt send your son if he cant make those decisions for you.”The person texting me when back & forth arguing about her exam fee, which when I finally spoke to some over the phone never mentioned a new service fee for new clients, I made the appointment for 2 specific shots only!!! The person by text argues at the fact they gave me a discount, our puppy had exams I didn’t ask for and of course was charged for them. Things I never mentioned about to get tested etc…the text responses were unprofessional and argumentative from them. Very very unprofessional. Never did I get a text of “I’m sorry…let’s try and make this experience better how can we help” nothing just argued and told me I shouldn’t send my adult son?Bottom line the texts were long from them and very unprofessional, never will I bring my fur babies to this place again.

My four dogs all go to Pawsh. They love the staff and the doctors so do I. They take great care every visit. Recently I had to put my best buddy to sleep. This can be the worse thing you have to do. The ladies made me feel like he was their baby. So much compassion! Thank you for everything you do,

I greatly appreciate the staff and all that they do. Especially during these trying times. I can’t thank Dr. Hatt enough for the time she spent talking with me about the treatment plan for my dog. She’s had some pretty significant health issues these past few months and It’s really reassuring that Dr. Hatt takes the time to really listen.

After 4 months of my dogs health not improving, I brought him to Pawsh for a second opinion. He was seen on a Friday and promptly scheduled for an ultra sound the following Monday. The results of the ultrasound found a mass that needed to be removed, which confirmed my need for a second opinion and that he had originally been misdiagnosed. Unfortunately, he took a turn for the worse that week and I called that Friday morning to have him put down. Pawsh was able to schedule us for that afternoon. While transporting my dog from my house to my car, he passed away in my arms. During that whole process, this facility was nothing short of amazing. To top things off, I received a hand written card from the staff sending their condolences, and my dog didnt even end up being put down there!! The consideration, professionalism, and compassion from this facility cannot be beat. I only wish I had come to them sooner and maybe my dog would still be with me today.

Brought my puppy for her 1st exam during this quarantine and everything went smoothly, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. They have a curbside system which was neat I waited in my car and the tech came out to get my puppy for her visit the doctor called during the exam and I was able to ask questions regarding any concerns. It was a great experience.

I had two about 2 month old foster kitties that got sick very fast. I lost one over night I never had a chance to get any help for him. But the other baby starting showing all the same symptoms a day later. I get on the phone and start call around town, but no luck either they were completely booked or weren’t taking my customers because of COVID-19. Pawsh was the last on my list because people are always saying how busy they are, but when they answered and through my crying babble they ask me to come right away. They two were very busy and with only 1 Emergency Vet working but they dropped everything to try and help my dying baby. He did not make it and the Pawsh employees were so very compassionate and caring of this little soul and of my loss. One of the young ladies was very kind and made me a paw print, I will never forget this act of kindness. Thank you to the Pawsh team that was working on November 2, 2020, I can’t tell you how mush your help meant to me, thank you again. I will definitely call on Pawsh again but hopefully under much better circumstances.

We adopted Caesar over a year ago. He was very skittish and doesnt trust strangers. Caesar mustve felt safe because they had no issues with trimming his nails. I want to Thank the people at Pawsh Place for being gentle and caring with him.

Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Due to COVID pandemic, care for pets is drive-up and the system was safe, smooth, and efficient. Follow up call to check on my pup the next day was a nice touch.

Multiple times Ive waited over 20 minutes for someone to attend to us after checking in early for our appointment. This wouldnt be an issue if they were busy, but the past few times Ive waited, I was one of two people there. The response from the personnel here hasnt been very good lately.

I have to say I really love the new sysyem of waiting in the car with your babies and I appreciate that the tech calls you and asks if you have any other questions or concerns for the dr and goes over all the pricing and options then they come get ur pets and when its done the dr calls and gives you you rundown and answers any questions you have. It seems so seamless and I dont get stressed out having my babies in the waiting room with many other pets who can be unruly at times.. I just really love this new system put in place for the pandemic.. I love how much Dr Chancellor loves my furbabies💕 she takes such great care of them both. I also love how the staff uses my pets names and they seem to know everyones pet. Pawsh seems very reasonably priced but I really love how they help all the emergency animals that come to them even knowing they will not get reimbursed. They truly care about your pets.

Their groomer did a fantastic job of grooming my woolly husky! She was able to get all of her undercoat shedding out, which was no small feat! I could not be happier with how my dog looked.

Took for ever to give me back my dog

When we first moved to Vacaville, I resisted coming to Pawsh, because of their name. I thought it was a super fancy place, and I am very practical. I want a good vet, that knows what they’re talking about, and won’t suggest extra diagnostics to make money. I want a friendly, truly caring staff that understands cats, and my love for my fur babies. Unfortunately, one of my kitties became very ill, and with other reviews I went to Pawsh for a second opinion. After several visits; several returned calls within an hour to reassure me, update me on diagnostics, giving me several options of differing price ranges and invasive ness, the home visit to let my ill kitty go, all the compassion, the app for appointments and direct line to Vets, I am very pleasantly surprised and mind changed. I am so appreciative of everything they have done for us. They do have a wonderful boutique, but they are so much more, at reasonable prices. During Covid, they have a great, easy to use system in place, extremely friendly and thorough despite changes to in-person appointments. I cannot think of any feedback to make my experiences with Pawsh better.

My dog was attached by a pitt bull. The doctor and staff took such good care of my dog and got her fully recovered. They also took good care of me as the owner who was a mess.. I was so worried. They all made me feel like my dog was in good hands and would be ok... Thank you all!

Everyone went above and beyond! They gave full consideration to my rescue pups abuse history and allowed me walk him up to the door to ease his anxiety (their current COVID protocols requires us to stay in the car while vet techs pick up/drop off and the appointment takes place via phone). I really appreciated everyones patience with his needs and accommodations throughout his visit.

I’ve only been there once for my 12 week old puppy but I love the place already. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable about canine health and was willing to answer all my questions. The entire staff was very friendly and loving to my dog.

My disabled dog has received wonderful care at Pawsh. The vet and the techs are knowledgeable about her special needs and give me very good direction as to how to care for her.

Great at scheduling exams and shots that you pay for, but good luck if you ask to speak to someone over a concern for your pet (after we spend $600 a year). Multiple times I have called with a question about my pet (where do I go with a snake bite, do I need to bring dog in for small bleeding issue, etc) and they have never returned my call. Good at taking your money, not very good of being concerned about your pet for non-paying activities.

My brother is in the hospital with a horrible stroke and the hospital recommended we bring his dog to the hospital, but I would have to wash her and get her nails trimmed. Pawsh was able to take her last minute and did a fabulous job!!! She looked amazing and smelled great. And he was one happy patient! Thank you again. This review is solely on the grooming side and not the vet side. Probably one of the most horrific grooming experiences of my life. Ive brought my dog here before and had an awesome experience with the groomer Ellie, who I found out moved away unfortunately. I was then hesitant to bring my Aussie here as dogs with an undercoat need special consideration. It took about 1.5 months to get an appt. (Probs cause of staffing issues and COVID) which I had no issue with... but when I dropped my dog off, what I got was definitely not what I expected... the groomer (Kayla) had pretty much buzzed 3/4 of the dogs hair. EVERYTHING was uneven, patchy, and she didnt even do the dogs head. I believe they did give him a bath but it seems like they didnt brush him at all when they returned him. And all that cost $100. I would be extremely hesitant to bring a dog there that has long hair. Especially one with an undercoat. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I bring my dog to the groomer...

Ive had some sad and happy experiences here. The staff are very accommodating and try and be as helpful and supportive as possible. The grooming center does a good job, and the pet play center is great for dogs to play.

My dog has great anxiety when it comes to groomers and they did a wonderful job and they where extremely patient with him. I definitely recommend them. They are great.

This place has been a complete blessing. My dog had been having a weird nose complications in one nostril (nosebleeds and light-green mucous) since January. The first vet I went to told me that they believed it was allergies even after a $1200 examination. I then had to travel to Mississippi a couple months later and a veterinary hospital out there informed me that they dont have the tools to conduct an in-depth exam on him, but they are pretty certain his nose complications werent allergies. It wasnt until I took my rottweiler to Pawsh that I started getting answers. Dr. Celina Hatt was able to find a foreign fungal object deep in my dogs nostril and prescribe him medication all on the first day of seeing him. She sent pieces of the object for testing and discovered additional complications as far as bacterial infections in my dog. She continues to keep me updated and doesnt target my wallet like other vets have. I honestly havent seen my dog this active and normal since the start in January. My first vet always rushed me out and and was quick to just keep prescribing the same thing for my dog even though there was no positive impact on him. The Pawsh staff are always happy to help and are quick to work around my schedule. Its been great and I know my dog is happy about the decision.

Everyone here is the absolute best! My cat has been several times and shes made herself right at home every time. At first, I had felt it would be difficult to leave her, but right away I was able to see how much the staff truly enjoyed their work and that she was in excellent hands ❤❤❤

We received a coupon from a friend for Pawsh after moving to town a year ago. We ended up having to go in due to a dental emergency with our rat terrier. The staff was kind and professional. Facility is clean and comfortable for both pet and people. They were thorough with the exam and the treatment started that day to prepare our terrier for removal of an abcessed tooth. So very grateful!

I have also had one of my dogs groomed by the there also. My dog came home happy and smelling great. I am taking advantage of the black Friday to have another dogs teeth taken care of. The prices are reasonable. But more importantly my cats and dogs are happy and healthy thanks to Pawsh.

Aside from everyone being so nice and welcoming. My dog loves going there. Our last visit I was taking my dog in for shots, and typically she shakes or whines because shes not a fan of the vets office, but at Pawsh my dog walked right in as opposed to being carried and her tail never stopped wagging. The vet and the vet techs explain everything I need to know, they take excellent care of my dog and they even called the next day to check how my dog was feeling after her shots! Ive been to Pawsh a couple of times and every time its a great experience.

It was my first time taking my dog to a vet, we have taken her to like small clinics to get her shots though. But the experience here was amazing, they are definitely affordable, which is good because I am on a very tight budget, but the vet really made sure that my dog was comfortable and wasnt hurting when she gave her any shots, which is really good because when we took her to a clinic my dog tried to bite them. My dog kinda hates everyone but she really liked the vet, she even gave her kisses on her nose which she only does to close family. Definitely recommend her to you guys and I have told like everyone I know who has a pet to go here.

My husband and I brought two fur babies into our lives November 2016. Since then weve been regular customers. The medical staff has treated us practically like family since day one. Theyve watched our babies grow and are always excited to see them. Theyve taken extra time during vaccines to make sure it wasnt a traumatic experience and have been patient with us and ALL our questions. Weve found the staff at the Boutique very helpful. In addition, I really appreciate the quality merchandise they carry. Ive saved the best for last, I cant say enough about the Play Care & staff. Im such a protective mamma, but I know Im leaving them in good hands. I cant tell whos more excited when we drop them off, the puppies or the staff! Its been such a wonderful experience for our two little ones, I get teared up when I see them playing with other regulars, and to know they have friends💛.

My ONLY complaint, is the cost of services. VERY expensive, compared to other Veterinary offices in town. And no military discount. But from a services and bedside manor standpoint, the BEST around.

I had to take a stray cat in because it had a huge tumor/abscess on the top his head. Dr Hyatt was able to remove it and he’s doing great. She was very professional and knowledgeable. And showed empathy. Will definitely go back there. Everyone was very friendly.

I just recently moved to Vacaville and needed to take my cat to the vet. This place was wonderful. Everyone was very caring and not pushy to get a bunch of extra stuff. Unfortunately my poor kitty has a bladder stone but they were very supportive in my decision on how to treat him and I look forward to going back

I took our dog to a groomer next door to Pawsh Place. The groomer noticed a potentially serious ailment, and recommended I have the veterinarian at Pawsh Place examine our pet, the sooner the better. We have a different veterinarian with whom we are very pleased, but the groomers sense of urgency and confidence in Pawsh Place led me to go immediately there and have him checked. I knew that our regular vet had no openings that day, because I had called earlier to see if I could get the dog in for an exam. (We had noticed a behavioral change, but did not know it was a sign of something as significant as it turned out to be.)The staff at Pawsh Place worked him in quickly, identified his problem, outlined the solution, and offered options for dealing with it in terms of priorities and costs. They told us they could proceed with the necessary procedures right away, on our request.We opted to have the procedures done that afternoon. The costs seemed reasonable, and the care was excellent. Our pup recovered well and I will probably continue to use Pawsh Place as his primary care office.I was very impressed by the courtesy, care, and compassion exhibited.

The grooming is ok. They shaved the feathering off my beautiful 2 year old golden retriever. The trimming around ears and feet is a fair level of expertise. They treat them well and I love vet hospital.

Pawsh is amazing!! Even before we were actual patients there, I facebook messaged them late on a Saturday night about my dog and what appeared to be a foxtail embedded in her paw. They took the extra time to visit with me, reassured me and was able to squeeze my Lucy in first thing Monday morning for an exam. Turned out, it was just a bee sting. Since then, we have been back for a few appointments and everyone is so kind and gentle, taking extra time to love on our pets. They dont rush the appointments and genuinely care. This is the best vet office on the whole planet!!! Do yourself a favor and try them out - they are incredible!

I have found the best vet and will try my hardest not to have to take Wolfgang to anyone else. If you truly want the best for you fur buddy, forever friend or animal child, you wont think twice. The Doctors and staff are amazing. They love the animals and the people. They all work together to make sure your pet gets the best care and will not do unnessesary treatments just for the money.

I recently took my fur baby Toby in to see the groomers at Pawsh. Hes a really big dog and not at all fond of getting a bath. The staff at Pawsh were fantastic with him though, and very helpful in answering my questions. At other grooming places, Toby is usually very eager to leave; however, when we were leaving Pawsh, he was still interested in looking around which was a great sign that he was not at all upset by the experience in any way. I was very pleased with the service and care provided by Pawsh, and wont have any hesitation in taking the Tobes back in again.

They treat your little family member as their own. Much better at communicating than your own doctor. Only place I consider. Only wish they were able to help with my boa.

We just took our 2 babies to Pawsh for their vaccines and physicals and again we had a great experience. The Doc was extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring, the tech waa also very nice and respectful. Switched over to Dr. Hatt a few months ago and have been very happy! I have a pup who is currently going through their puppy package. They always take the time to call the next day to check on the pups after their appointments.Also cannot explain how excited I am that they are adding Saturday hours starting in August! It helps me so much since I work Monday through Friday!

Got an appointment right away! The groomer really cared about what cut I wanted for my dog. She had me send her a photo of his past cuts. My mom picked him up and said he was really happy to be there. He looked great! Thank you Pawsh! Will definitely come back again!

They are wonderful treat you and your pet with care and concern. They respond quickly to any and all questions relating to your pets care. I highly recommend them.

Ive been going to Pawsh Place for several months now with our puppy. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Id absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a good vet. No emergency services though, so dont run here in the middle of the night.

A dog owners go to for multiple needs good supplies and a great dog sitter crew. Really nice staff and well supervised by the owner and resident vet. Got some good supplies last time and parking is easy and convenient.

All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Their care for my pup was very good and I am happy with all the Pawsh folks. We had always gone to the same vet but moved away from the area, so needed to get established with a vet in this area.

Dr. Hatt is great. She actually listens to you rather than telling you what you need. Jane at reception is great and knowledgeable. They actually try to get you in same day if they can for non-routine visits. Very few vets do that anymore.
