Truly the absolute best auto repair experience I have had, period. This was the closest garage, but turned out to be a really great one. Alternator repair done on zero notice in just a few hours, for a great price.- - -We were moving up north from SF when the battery light on our 2006 Honda Pilot came on. After 15 years, the alternator had finally decided to fail at 6:45am, just as we are leaving the city, with two bikes on the back rack and our car full of bags. Great.So, we pull into the nearest garage, which happens to be Vacaville Autopro, and call the listed number. It goes through to the owner, who is clearly still at home having coffee, but promises to get in to meet us within an hour. When he comes, he even offers to let us take his own personal car as a loaner! Above and beyond service.Apparently our alternator is completely rusted on from the salt air, so he spends 3 hours soaking the bolts at no extra charge above the estimate, puts a new alternator on (and not cheap junk, he sells us a high quality part for about the same as the listed Autozone price!).We are back on our way in just a few hours (and would have been way faster had the bolts not been rusted) and the car is back running great.I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and next time I have issues in the San Fran, I may even make the trip out to Vacaville to come back.

This is one of those rare honest, capable, competent and experienced mechanics that you are really lucky to find. He has helped my boyfriend and I with some pretty significant repairs to our cars. My boyfriend is very knowledgeable about cars and shopped around a lot before finally deciding on using this mechanic, we’ve never been disappointed and furthermore we’ve saved a ton of money. The radiator and drive belts and timing belt on my Nissan Truck were replaced. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and professionalism they showed. I returned for an engine diagnostic and found out that the distributor needed to be replaced. Excellent quality of work! Best price I could find in town. Very professional!! It was FREE! I knew it was a simple fix that wouldnt take more than 10 minutes, but I still expected to pay for his time. He removed the broken part and said hed throw it away for me. I really tried to offer him something for his time, but he refused. Well, you just earned a full time customer!! We live near-by, have two cars, and have found our new mechanic!!

I normally dont put up reviews but I want to inform you of my time at Auto pros.I took my car there with coupon in hand to get a oil change and get the brakes checked.I got a phone call informing me that the fronts were at 40% and the rear at metal to metal I was told a couple different prices that were very confusing but I thought a price I was given was a total for all four brakes.When I got there I was informed that the total was 6.23.00 replacing all four rotors and pads.Why was the rotors on the front replaced when pads were at 40%.Also was charged 3 Hrs labor, this was the highest price I have ever paid for a brake job.So if you plan to use this repair station make sure you completely understand the cost before having the work done.And NO I will not go back there ever again.

Was visiting from out of town and had a noise coming from under the car. This was the only spot nearby with same day availability. They fixed the noise quickly and at a very reasonible cost and gave me detailed directions on some potential problems to look into once I got back home.

Great experience,we were out of town and the battery light came on in our truck. Knowing that we would not be able to make it back home on the battery. We looked for a mechanic and came across this place. Called to see if they could fit us in. The owner answered and was very helpful. When we brought our truck in, we explained that we were out of town and didnt have a lot of time. Vishan (owner) got us in right away. Very fair with the price and service was amazing. Wish they had a shop in our town. We would definitely bring all our vehicles to them.

Our tail began on a Saturday morning driving up from San Jose on our way to the Portland area. Our Camry with 286k miles decided to blow a water pump and melt the engine down to a charred mess of engine.The tow company brought us to VA and the process started. I was able to contact the owner and it helped us with our decision to have the car repaired rather than scrap it. The communication with photos and texts were very much appreciated and I felt that the work being done was honest and inline with what needed to be done. It took a few weeks to complete the rebuild of the entire engine compartment and we appreciated the test drives done before we came to drive the car home. Vishan impressed me with his professionalism, courtesy, and prompt service. The prices at Autopro are both reasonable and competitive. In contrast to many auto-repair shops, Vishan does not attempt to scare the customer into making unnecessary repairs to increase per-job profit. I am extremely happy with the service I received and will be making Autopro my go-to repair shop.

Honest, honest, honest! This weekend I was driving from Sacramento to the bay area when I heard a thundering noise coming from under the hood of my car. I pulled over to the Nut Tree center and started searching for car repair locations. I reach Vishan at Vacaville AutoPro and he said he said, “Come on in. We will take care of you.” After AAA towed me there, they took my car in right away. I sat in the waiting room, praying that I found an honest shop and not at the mercy of someone that would take advantage of my vulnerable situation. Vishan and his technician looked my car over thoroughly, ran engine diagnostics and both took my car out on the road. Vishan came back and told me that they did not find anything significantly wrong, but that there were minor things that could have been causing loud tire or humming noises. I was so thankful he was honest and that I could get back on the road. I asked him what I owed, and he stated it would be no charge!! Wow, I was shocked and thankful! How rare is it to find a business manager so kind and helpful? Whether you live in Vacaville or not, do not hesitate to take your car to this shop. They will surely take care of you!!

Vishan is an very honest guy. I went to him 2 years ago when he first opened and I had taken my car to another shop in Fairfield. I paid them for a diagnostic test and they supposedly fixed the problem. Come to find out my emissions light was on a few days later and still had something wrong. I showed up at autopro and Vishan actually pulled a car off of his lift and had mine pulled in and lifted. There was a major hose in plain sight that was cracked and he replaced it for me free and did not charge me for anything. Since then I have gone back due to me trusting him! Great place and very honest man!
