Although we had an issue with a missing dvr box, one of their employees went out of their way to meet up with the tenants who were in our rental home before us who had mistakenly taken it. The employee was so helpful and so personable that the whole experience, though frustrating, was not completely overwhelming. Thanks Custom Install Solutions!

I have had issues with my Direct TV since I moved in my townhouse. Kandi took great care of me. I have never had a rep that was so helpful and all about me. She went above an beyond to get my issues fixed. I cant thank her enough!!
Terrible customer service. Refused to answer my questions or schedule a technician to come out. 1st AND 2nd install were both unsuccessful and I had to wait over a week total for them to come back and finally fix all their issues. The very unhelpful customer “service” employee said the manager would call me back after having asked to speak with him and of course i did not get a call back ever. If it wasn’t for the actual directv company customer service answering my questions I would have cancelled my service altogether. If you have options, do NOT go here for your directv install or any other service they offer.
Hands down by far the worst cable experience ive ever encountered in my life. Terminated directv service a couple months ago as we were moving and didnt have a need for service at the time. Called this company to set up service again, and was told I had to pay them $125 for them to come out there and activate my service. Went from no charge because im a new customer to being charged $125. To top it off, I have all the equipment in my house still. There was no set up required on their part. Just need to service activated. Dont ever work with this company. What a joke.
I dont know how people put 5 stars for their service, I had a comoletely different experience and one of my friends had very bad one as well. The service these guys provide is horrible. Beginning from talking on the phone to actually coming over and make things right.I am the new resident to apartment complex and I tried to call guys with an error that always showed up on my TV. First, the girl named Sarah told me that shes not going to tell me anything since I am not the person who they set the Direct TV box for, I tried to explain that the person who was on their list moved out and I moved in instead of her, but she apparently didnt care at all. Next, I went to my apartments manager and asked her to call them and let them know that I am the new resident and put me on the list, they did so. I called them, set up the time and date to come over... Nothing was done... I called them back and tried to find out what happened, the owner of this company(thats how he pronounced himself). He told me that they came over, but the apartments manager couldnt verify who is living at my number apartments which is super strange... I talked to my manager and she told me that the guys who came didnt know what TV and what box the problem was with, so they left(considering that I have only one TV in the whole apartments). The same time I had a conversation with the owner, I asked him what can I do now to fix this problem, he said that I can reschedule the visit, but I have to be present there at time they come. The time he gave me from 8-3pm I believe...I asked him if itd be ok if my roommate would be present, but he said no... Well, excuse me sir, but I think you should know that most people in the world work either from 7-3 or 8-4 fromMOnday to Friday...Additionally, when you call these guys, give it about half hour to respond to your call.Very poor service overall and I hope Direct TV will change their agent in the future.
I ordered DirecTV and had it installed by Custom Install Solutions. I noticed it wasnt connecting to the internet so I couldnt use on demand, etc. I called Custom Install Solutions who initially told me it was because the initial tech couldnt set it up right because I didnt have internet at the time (that was wrong, I bought internet through Custom Install Solutions previously). They then told me that it was because they forgot to install a CCK and that theyd install come out and install one at no cost.I took a day off work for a service call scheduled for Friday between 8-12. I was called at 9:30 and told that my service call had to be cancelled and that if I wanted to fix it Id have to buy the CCK on my own for $100. After I said I didnt want to have to pay for a mistake they made while installing my service, they offered to send one for $50.I ended up talking directly with DirecTV, who ended up offering to send out the part free of charge and told me that theyve had several people complain about the service from this independent DirecTV dealer. Makes perfect sense...
Absolutely the worst local company I have ever worked with. I am posting this with hopes that community landlords will see this and choose a more reputable vendor for their installation services.On 9/8/17 I called to get our DirecTV activated for our apartment. I talked to a very pleasant lady (the only silver lining in this mess) who provided me with installation details. It was to cost $100 for hookup. I felt was significantly higher than necessary, but I understand theyre a business that needs to make money. Without other installer options for our apartment I agreed. Unfortunately the representative was unable to get anyone out to our unit until 9/14.I work 40 miles away and was unable to take time off for the several hour block they provided in which the installer would be there. My mother-in-law however was at the apartment. The service was activated and I was told everything was ready to go. When I got home in the evening, we were unable to get service. I called DirecTV and they informed me that the box was no longer supported although it worked 10 days before at our previous residence and we were told it would work at the apartment. After dealing with DirecTV for forty five minutes I cancelled our service outright. We never once were able to use the service that we paid for.On 9/23/17 my wife was reconciling our accounts and discovered that we had been charged $125 for installation. I called Custom Install Solutions on 9/26/17 and asked them why it was $125 instead of $100. They said it was to provide service to two televisions. I couldnt believe this as we only own one TV and as far as I know only have one hook-up in the apartment! I told them that the second TV was completely unauthorized and explained that the service in fact did not work anyway. The technician left without verifying if we could even get programming. After several discussions back and forth I explained that I wanted a full refund and to talk to the manager. I was told that a manager would call me back.On 9/27/17 I called again to speak to a manager and was told he was out but they had provided him my information and he would be contacting me. I called again on 9/29/17 and still was not able to speak to a manager. By 10/20/2017 he still had not called and I called in the morning. The receptionist told me that he would call in 30 minutes. Guess what? Three hours later and still no call. I called back again and explained that the entire experience had been completely unsatisfactory and that their excuses were completely unacceptable at this point. I was able to get a partial refund but I still feel like I was taken by a scheme.It is now 10/3/2017 and I have wasted enough life with this company. The manager has still to call me back and Ill probably not recoup any more of my lost money. We decided to buy a $10 antennae and watch local channels, although they did offer their hook-up services again last night. I told the receptionist that if I never watch television again it will be a worthwhile price to not deal with them (or DirecTV) ever again.RUN RUN RUN RUN away from this business!
By far the most dishonest company I have ever delt with. Not only do they not represent courtesy and respect they threaten my wife when they were in our home because she didnt what to sign up for additional services.
Kandi and Dustin are awesome! They got me internet when Centurylink could not. Could not be happier with their service!
