We are extremely happy with the new bathtub & surround Central Iowa Home Renovations installed for us. They were courteous and cleaned up the area very well after they were done. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a new bathtub.

I cannot thank Central Iowa Home Renovations enough for the job they did. My upstairs bedroom is a finished attic and had a huge space Ive been using as an additional living area as well as bedroom. Since I moved in, Ive dreamed of putting in a master bathroom and this month that dream came true ♥️ These guys are so professional and personable and courteous. They worked hard every day and this only took 10 days total. I used them for my original shower update in my downstairs and I was so happy with them that I used them again to add this additional bathroom. I highly recommend them for any bathroom updates or additions

I had two bathrooms remodeled in my home and the outcome was great! The two guys who did the work were thorough and quick! They double checked the work orders, each bathroom took less than three days, and they made sure we still had a shower to use the whole time. The guys were friendly as well, double checking where we wanted shelves and grab bars, and cleaning up every day. It has been a couple weeks since the job was complete, and I couldnt be happier! The quality is so much better than the original baths. Tubs that are solid, taller, and customized the way I like without taking up any additional space! Highly recommend.

They were very unprofessional, left my job without finishing it, refuse to come back and complete the job.. I could go on and on but will not recommend them !!

We had a great experience with Central Iowa Home Renovations! The shower remodel in our master bathroom looks fantastic. They performed quality work in slightly less time than expected with great results. They certainly exceeded our expectations!

Great experience from start to finish. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the product and we got a very competitive deal. The installers were AMAZING! Our house is older and always has surprises and quirks when tearing something apart, but they handled it with grace and laughed it off with us. Didnt even slow down their time frame for getting the job complete. Zakk was the main installer and was uber professional and always smiling and had everything under control. They even worked around our 3 dogs with ease. He explained everything and answered all of our questions. The end product is beautiful! A brand new bathroom in the basement where there was none, and a shower replacement for the upstairs bathroom. I would choose them again in a heartbeat! Excellent customer service is so rare anymore!

Couldnt be happier!!! We chose the right company to do a complete makeover of our master bath. We dealt with the nicest & very professional people. We were told our job would take 4 to 7 business days to complete. It took 6 days. True to their word. The finished bath is exactly what we wanted and looks fantastic. Dont hesitate to give them a call!!!

When spending massive amounts of money to renovate a bathroom, it would be assumed you would have a final product to be proud of. This is not what happened. First, nobody was at the show room after we were told to go there to pick out flooring. I had to wait over an hour for someone to show up. Next, we were told 6-8 weeks. It was 2 days shy of 10 weeks, and we did not get the shower we ordered with the excuse of the manufacturer discontinued it. We found this out when they came to do the work and we were told there was nothing we could do but take the design we did not order. Then, the vanity I purchased to the measurement specifications given to me by the guy they sent to measure the bathroom did not fit and I had to go out mid week and buy a different one that I did not like because I didnt have time to order one before they needed it for install. Finally, my last complaint, less than 2 months after they are done, our pipes below the bathroom are leaking water everywhere. Our install guys were nice and courteous, but I would never, NEVER, recommend this company!

We were very pleased in dealing with Mike and Central Iowa Home Renovations. He was very thorough in explaining the product and how the process would continue. Mike and another employee came for the tear out and preparation of our new shower. They returned the next day for the install, but had a defected panel and had to reorder. So we were without our shower for another week.....unfortunately, accidents happen. However they were able to complete the install and we are completely satisfied.

Everyone we dealt with,start to finish, was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Chet did an especially good job with the tear out and install of the tub/shower unit. The end product is just what we were looking for and our daughter is thrilled to have a “new” bathroom!

So impressed with this company from the beginning when they came out to our house to show us their product. They were not rushed for time and were patient with all of our questions. We had to wait a bit to get them to install our new shower, but it was worth the wait. Isaac was our installer and he did a fabulous job! He was very personable, respectful and we were comfortable having him in our home. The 2nd day Isaac and his helper worked from 8 AM to 8 PM just so we would have use of our shower the 3rd day. We were so impressed with their work ethic. I would highly recommend Central Iowa Home Renovations! Their product is beautiful, their employees are great to work with and we are so happy with our new shower. Call them!

We needed a major update of our bathroom. At the state fair we saw their display booth. Our entire experience with the company has been a pleasant experience. The communication from day one has excellent. We are very happy with our new bathroom. We had a week delay because of a scratch on a panel. They ordered a new one and Chet & Isaac were professional skilled installers and cleaned up the area each day. Rating would be higher without delay but those things happen.

The work was done in two days. Workers laided down material to keep everything clean. No clean up necessary once they were gone. A very nice looking bathroom now.

You have a fantastic ten star installer, Mike Dunkelberger!! So glad he did our tear out and installation!! From start to the finish and clean-up he out did our expectations.

I was given a discount in my bathroom remodel in exchange for agreeing to leave a review.TLDR: This company is completely incompetent when it comes to anything outside of their standard install, unwilling to fix their mistakes, and uses high pressure sales tactics to to make sales.The high pressure sales take the form of a discount on the work in exchange for leaving a review. This offer is only available when they first give you a bid.I would rate my project as medium in size. It involved replacing the bath tub and adding a shower surround, a new floor, removing tile on the wall and replacing it with sheet rock, and installing a pedestal sink. I was told this would take 3 to 4 days.On the fourth day of the install they discovered my new bathtub was cracked and needed replaced. Why they didnt inspect the bathtub before doing demo work I have no idea. They left me for a week and a half without anything but a toilet in that room.When they came to finish with the new tub it took an additional 3 days. When I went to inspect the work I found they had left a hole for the water supply lines like you would use for a vanity (literally just a 2x4 inch hole in the wall). Keep in mind this is for a pedestal sink, so nothing covered that. When I asked what they were going to do with that they offered to put an outlet cover over it.Obviously I told them that was not acceptable they told me their boss Mike would be out the next day to fix it. His first fix involved simply putting flanges over the supply lines and sloppy mudding job. When I told him that I wanted a standard supply valves for a pedestal sink he told me they would have to charge me because code says they only need to be 12 inches off the floor. Ive read through the international plumbers code that Norwalk uses, and it doesnt mention anything about that.I said fine, but that the valves at least needed to be level, and have a competent mudding job. He agreed to level them.When he next claimed to be done the valves were level, but there was a visible cut line between them. I told him I that was still unacceptable and he needed to fix it. He agreed to come out the next day.Mike came back and worked for about 2 hours. What he showed me is the worst mudding job I have ever seen. I told him I wanted it to look professional since I hired professionals. He told me he wasnt the drywall guy. After some discussion he agreed to bring the drywall guy out to fix it next week, but claimed he still needed paid because the job was done I refused and he became angry and left.The next week the drywall guy came out. He did I much better job with the drywall, but the valves had shifted by this point and one was now showing about half an inch of copper pipe.At this point I was so sick of this company I just paid and leave. They are clearly focused on fixing their mistake as cheaply as possible rather than correctly. Please keep in mind this was all on a wall that was tore out to the studs.To review, I was told the work would take 4 days. It took 6 actual working days, 10 days of waiting on a new bathtub, plus 4 partial days of rework.I am thoroughly disappointed in how they handled fixing their mistake. I would avoid this company at all costs.
