I wanted some me time... but If you like screaming ladies yelling at their kids this is the place. I had a horrible experience. Not only did my feet get burned with hot water while getting a pedi, the spa chair massager didnt work.... what a waste of my time today. I will never be back to this place. Im not even going to post a pic because they shouldnt even get one star.... 😒

I will never return to Nail Geni again! Cindy has always for at least 2o years plus! Always over booked. You book appointment, her favorite word is 5 minutes 5 minutes after this happening to me off and on for 20 years! I understand things happen but I see her be dishonest to customers for a very long time, just to hold people there and get her money!! Its not right! My appointment was at 12:30. Cindy said 5 minutes I said ok.. I have a very important Doctor appointment at 2:20 Cindy says no problem! 20 minutes go by shes still telling multiple people 5 minutes 5 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes I finally left. To anyone thinking of going to Nail Genie.. At this point the dishonest I rate them at 1 Star!!!!!

Cindy i believe is her name idk what is wrong with the lady she hit me in my back like if we were friends when she told me where to go sit. Didn’t like that or that she didn’t keep her mask on. Her work is not good didn’t focused on me cut me a few times while she was doing my fill since she kept answering phone calls she put on some lil rhinestones and they came off while i showered literally a couple of hours after i got my nails done i would not go back to her if anything the other lady that did my nails last time did a good job her name is mimi. No more walk ins i would have to schedule appointment specifically with her.

I went in for only a gel color change and they gave me a fill when honesty I didn’t need it yet, I just needed a color change because I scratched off my color on some of my nails. So she drilled it down and then after asked oh you need a fill? I thought she was just drilling off the color? So obviously I needed it now since it wasn’t up to the root or my nail anymore.I can’t believe I walked out without saying anything, she cut me 3xs and right now with all this hand sanitizer use, ouch!Also when I called to make an appt. they didn’t say anything about cash only,Luckily I did have some on me but I felt bad for the lady that paid before me, she didn’t have Venmo or anything like that so they made her go across the street to pull out cash and they didn’t tell her cash only either. I don’t think I will go back to here again.

Everyone is really friendly. I was greeted very well and I didn’t wait long. But my nails did not come out how I wanted them to at all! I got acrylic nails. She was in a hurry. Didn’t file them correctly. Usually they file them until it is the right shape and smooth. But she didn’t at all. As soon as I sat down I could tell she was just doing everything in a rush. My nails are so crooked! They are so thick! I tried telling her to file them more but she didn’t. I showed her a pic of how I wanted them. They look nothing like it.

It was okay.Amy did my nails but she didnt file down some of the thick part of my big toe nail that I asked her to. she was mumbling something she has a thick foreign accent that I cannot understand very well. none the less I was satisfied with the entire job. it was good.at home I will file down the thick parts myself, and they will do it when I return bc you supposed to do it a little over time. I will ask for her to do my nails again

This place is not worth wasting your time! The first time I was there I had booked and appointment for 12 pm and when I got there they had me waiting more than 20 minutes. The girl who did my nails started off good but at the middle of the process she started rushing and really messed up everything. All my nails ended up different sizes with a lot of bumps, the gel looks so ugly because on some she put 3 coats and on the ones she messed up, she put 5 coats of gel, the next day I booked an appointment for 12 to get them fixed and they had me waiting there more than 35 minutes to the point where I ended up leaving. Do not waste your time or your money on this place!!!

Poor sanitation quality of work rushed and poor

I squabbled around frantically in search for a nail salon to do a basic manicure and pedicure for an occasion today. I stumbled across Nail Genie, have them a call yesterday and Cindy made me an appointment for today.- I was so elated giving the vas majority of cosmetology related business are closed due to the Pandemic of course.Im satisfied with my results. The manicure exceeded my expectations and so did the pedicure. The salon is clean and neat and they have safety precautions in place suited to the Pandemic.All in all, I won with Nail Genie today. Am very thankful for their service!!

I went in for a gel mani and a regular pedi on Dec 21st. I wanted the green cat eyes gel on my nails for Christmas. They wouldnt stop telling me it would look so nice on my toes if I did the same color and gel (figured I could politely say no twice but geez they wouldnt stop asking). I had considered it so I caved. I shouldnt have. When I was done and went to pay, they upped the charge of everything which was not what was written on the menu I was handed during my time there. There were many other people there getting nails done for Christmas so I did not make a scene. Gel mani pedi came out to 87 dollars! Paid and went on my way thinking this has to be the best mani pedi I have ever gotten. Well, a few days later, here I have my gel nails peeling off. I havent done any of the holiday cleaning or cooking so its not from hand wear and tear. I am so beyond disappointed in this because they claim it lasts two weeks (and as a regular gel mani customer, I assure you almost every other one I have gotten lasts at LEAST 2 weeks) and I paid more than what I would normally pay because I tried a new place closer to home. I would never go back here! The quality is terrible and I cant believe I paid for this. If I wasnt away for the holidays I would go back and have them fix it. Literally go to any other place except here. Such a rip off.

I recently moved to the area and its important for me to find a good salon that does good work. They listen to what youd like done. Theyre polite. Their prices are good, and I have not had to wait. I also like that theyre open on weekends. If you are looking for a salon that does quality work and has good prices, try this place. I honestly do not think you will be disappointed.

I dont like that the ladies who do your manicure and pedicure try to force you to get a higher priced pedicure or manicure. If I get higher priced treatment, then they will end up with a smaller tip$$$, and these ladies love a good tip. As they should because this work is not easy. They need to stop pressuring the customers.I like going here because it is close to quite a few other shopping places.

I like this place but dont get Cindy, shes manager & does nails at the same time so shes not even paying attention to what shes doing. I kept asking her to show me color options cus I take forever to choose & she waited until it was time for color so I felt pressured to just pick any color. Im so unsatisfied with my nails the shape, the way theyre painted its all really sloppy. And mainly I feel like she judges you by appearance. The nicer you look the better shell do her work if you look average shell just be careless

I would ask for holly or Tammy or linda bc they actually take their time unlike others and they honestly do best on me !!

I came on 7/12 to fix 3 broken acrylic nails. I was told the wait would be 5-10 mins. I got asked numerous times who did my nails and got ridiculed for not knowing. I was told that next time I should “take a picture of my nail person” so it can be fixed. This was my second time coming to this location and it will be my last. I’m currently still waiting for one more nail to be removed. I’ve seen numerous people walk in and are helped. Very unprofessional. Save your time and energy and find another salon

Lisa is amazing. Anything you want done she can do if not do it better. You can show her pictures of what you want and next thing you know you are leaving with the same style nails you saw on pinterest or Better. She does an Amazing pedicure. Even if I moved I would probably still go here. Sometimes it does get confusing when you make an appointment and get there and someone else is being worked on by your nail tech. But with Lisa it is always worth the wait.

Very unprofessional.Update 2019: They now follow a schedule, true to their hours. Still very busy, the wait is about 15 minutes. Prices are good and Nina does great nails.

Everytime I go there to have my nails done Im never disappointed! Every other place Ive gone the nails crack off so easily but with Nail Genie the nails will stay on for weeks & I love it! I wont go anywhere else but Nail Genie:)

On my way back for a fill in.Second time going so, that says a lot.This place was bustling with customers and workers. I waited for a few minutes and as soon as I sat down, service was amazing. Costly but worth it. Try the hologram, you wont be disappointed. Everythings Gel Now Days, Im getting used to it.

Went early in the morning right when they open, I was the first customer. one of the ladys gave me a new girl nd she was slow doing my manicure nd couldnt do my nails right I wanted some one else to fix it up nd paint them nicely nd refused to get some one else, very bad experiences that day, Im not coming back, my advice go to yovanns nails in Fremont, hella better, look her up on Google maps to fine the place, only appointments tho

Theyre the best nail shop ever💜. Ive been going there since I was 12🙌🏽. In addition their new technicians are also very sweet and bomb at doing nails😍🔥. So whoever is trying to make them look bad needs to stop hating💯.

They were rude. They did not even fix my gel manicure that was wrinkled and puckered instead glopped another thick coat of polish that never cured and then sent me on my way with oil on mybhands so it looked shiny. Well it wasnt and cant go back.

I got acrylics for the first time and I loved how linda💜 did my nails...I think they just redecorated the place but it looks so pretty😍they were pretty nice as soon as I walked in they greeted us and 2 min later I was called for me it took an hour getting my nails done but I was happy with the results😄

It was a very nice salon and the nails came out nice,they were very well shaped and the the nail polish was on perfectly!The only problem was that when she filing the acrylics she did it so rough it hurt the sides of my fingers,overall it was a great experience.

I have gone here off and on for several years. They cost a little more but every time I go somewhere else, I find that the quality of the acrylic itself is shabby compared to Nail Genie. Nail Genies nails stay on longer, dont lift on the nail bed as quickly and the quality refinement of the job they do with shaping and sanding etc is higher. Its like the difference between going to Supercuts for a hair cut and going to the professional salon. Nail Genie is the salon. Also the pedicures are much more thorough (calf/foot massage and such). Got a pedicure somewhere else and was dissapointed. Ladies are nice and start conversations with you. I went to a different shop once and they acted like I wasnt even there while they did my nails. Once you go to Nail Genie you wont settle for lesser quality. Awesome!
