Honestly, the best and most reliable mechanic I’ve had. He was straight up with me from the beginning, kept me updated step by step, and even loaned me a car so that I wouldn’t have to spend money on taxi/Uber while my car was being repaired. The price was the best price I got after visiting a couple of shops, and my car runs like new! Definitely recommend.

Great guys and great service! I’ve gone twice now for maintenance and service and they always get my car done very quickly and at a good rate. They take cash and card (card payments have additional tax and fees). Richie and his team are great, honest mechanics!

My license plate came off and I researched online to go to a good mechanic. Simple problem of repositioning screws for licence plate. But I liked the fact that Jose was courteous and professional. Few auto shops that have someone like him. Quick five min fix and I was out.

Jose was a knowledgeable and friendly mechanic. He knew right away what was wrong with my van and the repairs were done at a very reasonable price. Also, there is a lot of parking in case you have to leave the vehicle for the next day which I did. Im definitely going back to RJ.

I’m very happy with the work rich did on my car in an emergency situation. I’m honest in all my reviews so I will say, Only issue I have is he didn’t want to tell me how much labor he charges at first and once the job was done he charged me $200 Labor for a job that took about an hour to complete. I guess that’s the price you pay for getting the job done quick tho. Good mechanic and professional, but I would inquire about his prices before you get work done

Incredible service and work! Richie and his team know exactly what theyre doing and are completely transparent with you about it along the way. Got several different parts fixed within a day, and the cost was very reasonable. Very responsive, very professional, and (most importantly) very good service to the car. Was taken care of same day for an idle control valve and spark plug issues by Alberto. They took care of the issues with integrity and did exactly as I needed and weren’t pushy about doing other services. Fairly priced for their work as well. Thank you guys. Update: 25may2021The owner sent me the rest of the deposit and apologies. He explained me that he had a health issues, so wasn’t able to work during this time.20may2021: We had business for several months. I have a problematic car. Some work were done well, some were done but problems werent fixed anyway (I understand risks with old cars so just saying).Then I gave a deposit to preorder an expensive part for the car. Then there were endless delays and I call you tomorrow. My deposit amount somehow became less in several months then I gave initially. I was able to take some money back, but the owner just forgot about several hundreds. So no part for the car, no money. NO TRUST :( Guys, just BE CAREFULL!! Good luck!

Rich and Alberto works like a team should. They were very knowledgeable on their work and spotted few things my 92 4runner had from being old. I asked other mechanics shops in the area about few things and were not that interested in working on a gold gem from the 1992. Rich was very happy to work on my truck, he actually loved it. This is the best mechanic, he shows you videos about the process and what he will be doing to the car. He is very nice and polite, they do not try to scam people like other mechanics do. I would really recommend this place he replace my spark plugs, my engine belt, oil and valve gasket cover for a really good price. Very affordable place to get your car fixed. I took my car to RJ One for the first time and I am happy with their services. My car needed its breaks fixed and a few other things, like oil and filter changes, later I took it back because they diagnosed one of the axels was also broken. Richie, I believe he’s the owner, was very helpful, knowledgeable and seemed honest as he explained to me all the things that needed to be done, and answered all my questions too. My car is now driving nicely. I’ll go back there when I need a mechanic again.

Honest mechanic. Hard words to come by. Went in thinking all my brakes needed replacing as well as some other work and Richard (owner) checked my car and told me what needed to be fixed and what didn’t. Saved me money. I’ve been to shops where they would have replaced everything simply because I mentioned it.

Got my shocks, struts and rear brake rotors installed here on my BMW, they did a good job at a reasonable price. Rich is very responsive and they deliver on-time. Will go back again for any future maintenance needs.

Today, I delivered my Toyota Prius for an Oil Change. They gave me all my options for the oils they had. They also checked the breaks and found that pads were too low.. so Richard called me and gave an offer. Also, they checked air filters, they were dirty... he called my again with solutions. Richard’s crew made all these jobs in couple of hours, they found parts my car needed as well. Richey did a great job getting my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee back up and running. After the first repair, the car still wasnt quite right, but Richey kept up with the repair, kept in contact with us to check in, and eventually the issue was resolved. And, he did not charge a single extra cent for any of the additional work. I can well understand the high rating here, which was one of the things that brought me to him in the first place. Great service, will return for future work.

I have consistently had great experiences with RJ One! I was referred to them years back thru a neighbor friend who spoke very highly of an experience he had there, as I was seeking a local trustworthy shop. Richie the owner, is very professional, personable, and thorough. On my first visit I was expecting a much greater/ more expensive repair than what it ended up being. Richie was honest and communicated w me the whole time, sending me text pictures of the parts and the prices and to get my approval before making any moves. The work is always done very efficiently and with a fast turn around time. I even had to call Richie late one night as my truck broke down and needed it to get towed and wanted to make sure was ok to have it left at his shop. He replied immediately and said of course and took care of it the next day. I own a 96 Ford Explorer w 220K miles, so needless to say it needs occasional work and Richie has always fixed any/ all issues and has kept that old truck running a long time and running well to where I still drive upstate etc with it!

Called up randomly today for a brake change, was told to come right over and i would be taken care of. Sure enough, assisted right away and for a great price. Good help & advice. Definitely a good trustworthy place to bring your car.

GREAT experience with RJ one auto repair. I believed i needed a battery or alternator when my car stopped running mid-drive. They sent a technician with me to walk 4 or so blocks to the car and help me jump it. When the jump didnt work his supervisor walked over and diagnosed that i had run out of gas and needed to use a gas can to fill it. They let me use theirs and return it when i was finished. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking your car to them, theyre polite and fair!

One my friend from barbershop recommended me to this mechanic because my 2000 Toyota Camry LE V6 has rattled engine (cylinder misfired #5 (P0305) and Richard the owner tell it was ignition coil needs to replaced and I went to AutoZone to get a new coil and the mechanic changed the new coil, lined up the wires together with zip ties, and also he noticed leaking coolant from the radiator hose and placed the new clamp. Rich, thank you so much for helping me as well the mechanic who fixed my car and did a amazing job and definitely this is my mechanic spot and I’ll definitely come back soon if my car needs any. I brought my car here to get it ready for inspection since I had an engine light on. Not only was Richard able to fix the problem and help me pass inspection he found a loose damaged tube in my car that if broken could have damaged my engine. Excellent work and service. I found a review about this business on the Nextdoor app and I was not disappointed: Richard was recommended highly and after having my car repaired today I confidently recommend this Auto Repair. I was explained what was happening to my car with lots of details and possible alternatives and was left to make the decision that best suited me at the moment. Richard took the time to look at the pictures I texted him and accommodated time in his schedule to see my car the same day. I left my car and received frequent messages about the process and findings. I am happy my husband and I finally found a trustworthy mechanic near us that is fair and knowleadgeable.

TLDR; You should definitely take your car here!!!!I was originally sent here for to have my clock spring repaired. Rich was willing to work with me and let me hunt for a less expensive part on eBay saving me $200. This past week I was having intermittent ignition problems that were clearly electrical related so I brought my car back to RJ One. He quickly ruled out the starter, and suggested a re-key, but when her heard I was between jobs put me to work dissiseming my own vehicle so he could check one more thing. Sure enough, I had a broken ignition pin. Rich showed me how to start the car with my key and screwdriver until I could buy and replace the part my self.
