I have never really had a bad experience at the dumpsite, but for the first time my company use them to deliver a 40 yard rolloff dumpster. I called the day before, and before paying their $815 fee they said they could deliver the next day between 7 AM and 11 AM. Since we were doing a large demolition job I had rented an excavator for about $500, Plus the labor to run the machine before demolition the day. I call at 11 AM because I have not heard anything and there is no dumpster on site. The first customer service representative I talk to you kept on apologizing but said he couldn’t do anything about it and that the dumpster has been rescheduled for delivery for the following day instead of the day agreed-upon in our contract. Talked to a manager and told her how much their not keeping their word cost me, and she offered $50 for the inconvenience. In summary: they are more expensive than other dump companies, don’t always deliver when they say, and apologize but do not make their error right.

Warning regarding mattress disposal at Greenwood Farms. They now charge Tyler residents for mattress disposal. We just found out after driving all the way there and was told by the clerk who roller her eyes I dont like having this conversation, but corporate made a decision to charge for mattress disposal in early 2019. There is a $42 charge and additional fees bring your cost to $62 for two mattresses. This is almost July and you still havent made these fees public? They dont inform people of this on their website nor is it posted on their signs. The reason? They know people who haul their mattresses all the way out there are more likely just to say, okay Ill just bend over and take it to get rid of the old thing! Its not right and as as a regulated service the city of Tyler should require Republic Services to disclose fees and also to notify the public when new fees are imposed or fees are changed. I do not recommend Republic Services. Update 6/30/3019: Tyler Recycle Center will dispose of your old mattress for $5 each. Yes, Greenwood Farms could have offered this info, but they would rather stick you with a ridiculous fee. The Tyler Recycle Center is open M-F 7:15 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM.

We live near the location. Neighbors use it but The other folks who wont pay the fee usually come dump their loads on our little road so the 7 homes back here get to do it and continually pay the fees or live in others garbage.

Friendly, informative staff, clean and well kept. 10 foot trailer plus pickup was $42.50. You weigh when you go in. I think it is $42.50 up to one ton.Another reviewer was complaining that he didnt think he should pay because it was county owned. It is managed by Republic Services, not the county.

Way overpriced. Had only a half trailer full, $42. Have to wait forever to hit the scales. They suck!

Pricing is outrageous for residential customers. Minimum charge of $37 is out of line for a county resident that can’t get reliable, affordable trash service. Since this is city owned, I don’t get why the COT has allowed this pricing policy. It’s fine for commerical dumpers, but not for residents with a few bags of household trash. This needs to be corrected by COT!I reached out to management asking about the pricing policy and was totally ignored. Thanks a bunch for your concern.

$42.80 to dump 6 trash bags is ridiculous and I chose not to pay it. I will NOT be a customer there ever again! Last time it costed only $13.00!!

If you go when its busy dont make any other plans

Our government in action. Increase the price more than 5 times what it used to be and the place is a complete pig sty. The dumping area is a health hazard and the bins are always overflowing. This place is an absolute abomination compared to what it was when it was privately owned.
