They charged me nearly double what the initial quote was for a coating project. When I asked about why the labor charge was more than quadruple on a small part than what was quoted, I was told it they had to blast the part twice and then wouldn’t give me an answer when I asked why it more than quadruple the quote on labor? I used to sandblast parts so I know how long it takes to do a job. Disappointed when businesses do this to customers. Quality of work appears good, we will see how it holds up.

I cannot explain how impressed I am with the staff at MVP Coatings. I have a small metal fab shop in Mountain Home, and I’ve struggled to find timely service for powder coating. Every shop in Boise is 3 weeks out minimum. I figured I’d try in the other direction, and ended up being stood up by another coating shop near Twin Falls. Then, I called MVP hoping I hadn’t wasted half a day driving to and from for nothing. The guys at MVP said “bring it right over”; I dropped it off right around noon... they called me at 10:30a the following morning and said it was ready. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Fantastic work, crazy fast turn around, and the price an quality are right on point. I’ll be taking all of my customers projects to them going forward.Scott @ Harjo Motorsports

Incredibly unprofessional! Walked in to get a quote. Customer ahead of me was picking up some stuff he had coated. Apparently he was given a quote that was lower than his actual bill at pickup. The employee flew off the handle at him for informing him the quote was lower. The employee was dropping F bombs and was acting irate. He didnt even try to work it out with the customer, just threw a tantrum instead. Customer was calm the whole time, just tried to tell the employee his initial quote was lower than what the bill came out to. I ended up walking out after seeing how he treated that guy! Ill take my business elsewhere.

My son and I are doing a rebuild on his truck. MVP not only did a fantastic job powder coating the axles and frame at a very reasonable price but they went above and beyond helping us find other honest local businesses for other parts of the build. I would give MVP 10 stars if I could!

Nice guys but very poor quality workmanship. Had my trailer floor sprayed with line x and it all came off a few days later, brought it back and they repeated the job and the very next day it came off again.

Projects arent returned when promised. And they even made the mistake of calling me and telling me my project was done. When I got there turns out they called the wrong person. My project wasnt even to the point they told me it was at three days prior. Used to be awesome but its under new ownership and they are struggling apparently. Took more projects to another shop 3 weeks into waiting for my stuff. Looks like Ill get those back before they finish.

For 200 dollars + Tax I got a half assed undercoat job. The undercoat is bubbling up in some spots and chipping off in others, and its only been three weeks since I had it done, not to mention the fact that its unevenly applied and they completely missed some parts. On top of all that, they REFUSED to give me a refund. Not a random employee, but the owner, said and I quote Im not giving a refund.. So now I have an Undercoat job that wont last six months let alone the winter.
