This is a wonderful place! The Doctor and staff are all amazing and they really care about pets here. I have a new puppy and haven’t been able to find a vet because nobody is taking new patients and I’ve had a couple close calls with her and this wonderful place has been a godsend. Thank you to all.

My dog was behaving abnormally and having accidents in the house. Local vets were all scheduled 2 weeks, to several MONTHS out since we didnt think this was an emergency. They recommended trying Healing Hands and I am unendingly thankful that we did. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and take great care of the animals. I could hear them talking to the animals, including my dog while we waited from the other room and they are always kind and compassionate.The Vet that worked with me was amazing. He listened to what I said, they looked at what I thought might be wrong first but it turned out that it was a much bigger situation. The entire process they communicated with me, showed me everything so that I could be sure of what they were saying, and they told me my options. They never pressured me to do anything that I may not have been able to do financially, but when I knew we were going to need to do surgery they helped me get the 3rd party financing squared away.They did great work and they honestly saved my dog. These people work hard in a stressful environment but do so much to make sure that the animals and the owners feel safe and are treated well. I hope to not be in a situation where I have to go back, but not because of them in any way. I honestly wish they could just be my regular vet service!Would give more stars if I could

During the 4th of July weekend, my sweet dog had gotten a UTI. I was terrified as it started on the Saturday morning and I knew AT BEST he could be seen maybe Tuesday morning. I frantically searched for a vet, ready to drive 2.5 hours to Boise to get him treated asap, only to find this place and get him in an hour after I called. They were so good with him (and he totally had a huge accident that they cleaned up). They even called us a few days later to check on him, something his regular vet doesnt do. I was ready and willing to pay $500 and the cost was under $150, considering it was 1.) a holiday weekend, and 2.) required lab work, I was pleasantly surprised. My baby boy healed completely and I am so happy he didnt have any major damage to his kidneys or go septic.

My dog was hit by a car. I live in Gooding ID where there is ABSOLUTELY NO EMERGENCY PET SERVICES I was refused by the only 2 vets within 5 miles.I was forced to find a vet 45 minutes away near Kimberly. I was thankful that after 45 minutes of trying to find a reputable vet that would see my dog that my dog did not die on the way. The vet, Dean Lavallee DVM, (dark haired man) was cold, uncaring, and told me i should drive to Boise ID (over 100 miles away) as the spine was broken and the dog was paralyzed. His main concern was money which I repeatedly said would not be a problem and was willing to pay money in advance for any care she may need. They do not even provide overnight care for an animal.I would ONLY recommend this place in an emergency. I would not recommend this vet under normal circumstances but I was forced to see this clinic due to no other options being available.The staff and Dr. need to work on bedside manners. Do not see this vet unless absolutely necessary. It appears they more about money than animals. Only use as your last resort...which unfortunately was mine.I worked for a vet for 5 years and have never seen such an apathetic crew. My dog (Piper) passed away on 8/3/2021. She was only 7 years old. Thank you for taking my money and providing zero guidance on how to increase her odds of living.

My cat started to struggle a lot with some gastrointestinal issues. His regular vet was scheduled out several weeks. We tried to make it until that point, but Sunday before Labor Day he was experiencing a lot of pain and wasn’t doing well. I live in Nampa and tried the two emergency vets in Boise. One was understaffed and longer accepting new patients for the day and the other said it would be a 6-8 hour wait. I drove to Boise where after an hour of waiting we still had not been triaged. I heard a tech tell another party that had been waiting for triage since before I got there that it was now a 10 hour wait for non-critical cases. I found this place in Twin Falls and explained what was happening. The tech consulted with the vet and suggested I bring him in. I made the 2 1/2 drive. They were kind and patient. The cost ended up being less than what they quoted. I made the trip back home afterwards with a kitty that was feeling better. In all it still took me less than 10 hours to drive there and home and to get him treated. Probably saved me money too. Nearly a week later they called to check to see how he was doing, which I appreciated. Overall, great experience.

What’s the point of having an emergency vet if when you call, no one answers? I’ve called every vet in magic valley and everyone one of them say to call this number. I called this number 5 times and no one answered. Luckily my dog made it until I could get him into a vet when they opened this morning.

I took my dog Zeus here for a Hematoma and bad ear infection. They were very helpful and had a couple options on treatment. I had gotten a quote from green acres vet for 1000$ And they wanted to do a surgery on him, the vet here at helping hands was very knowledgeable and able to treat him without surgery and for around 300$. I’ve brought Zeus back here twice for check-ups since then and he wags his tail and is very happy to come in and see the vet. These are great people in here who will give you a fair price and take good care of your animal. I’ve used a couple different vets in Twin Falls and I highly recommend them over anyone else in town.

Had to find out the hard way we now have an emergency after hours clinic in our area. We werent sure what was going on with our puppy, but he went from normal to barely alive in a matter of minutes. As soon as we arrived the staff rushed him back and got to work. He improved quickly then crumped again right before midnight, I was there and watched this staff work when my fur baby wasnt doing well. They all were calm and professional as well as stayed well after midnight to get him stable, then staff stayed overnight to monitor him. In the beginning I was given prices then things became more critical and I knew I assume care for whatever needs to be done. I feel prices were more than reasonable for the care provided and if it wasnt for Dr Lavalle and his staff my boy wouldnt be here today. Thank you Healing Hands for saving my baby and for being such an asset to our community!

I just love that this is now available to our area! Dr L was very friendly (and the nurse/tech too!), professional and patient. He asked all the right questions to better understand what my dog needed. I was referred to them by Green Acres, who recommended an overnight hospitalization for my dog. Healing Hands has late and around the clock care, so when my dog was diagnosed with a ripping case of pancreatitis, Green Acres knew that Healing Hands was the place to go. She ended up not needing an overnight stay, which was a huge relief.Their facility is very nice and clean, and service was quick, especially for an emergency visit. Pricing was totally reasonable too ($95 for a standard exam).It’s such a relief to know this resource is here now! I hope we never have to see them again but I sure am happy they’re here!

The vet and staff were great, empathetic, and compassionate with my furkids. Brought my 2 dogs in at 11:00pm because they were hit by a car. They immediately got to work in a professional manner. If I had a complaint it would be that I wish they would have given me an estimate up front, but the vet did mention costs here and there while asking for the approval for X-rays and bloodwork during the process of treating my dogs and I had not requested an estimate at the beginning when I had brought them in so that’s not their fault, I was just surprised at the end price when it was all added up- but it was reasonable. I was absolutely happy with the care we received and thankful that we have an emergency vet in the twin falls area. Thank you guys at Healing Hands!

Reply- You provided a faulty diagnosis. And immediately resulted to either doing a $5000 surgery or amputating my dogs leg.Our family vet never received the X-rays. We had to pay to get them done again, which thank God we did because they showed a completely different thing. In addition to this our Vet was actually willing to answer our questions and concerns and not just walk away at mid conversation.What kind of Emergency place cant watch a family pet over night, talking about declining help. Your staff could benefit to learn a thing or two from Sawtooth Vet in Jerome.I stand by my review.Update* after taking my dog to a new vet, it was brought to my attention he was misdiagnosed at this vet. I thought it was fishy how they refused to release my dogs x-rays after I had paid for them. Now I know why.Please save your money and go elsewhere. My puppy got ran over and we decided to bring him here because it was the only place open. They all are not compassionate. They only care about the money. Refused to see my dog unless we paid upfront. Paid for the amount they told us it would be. They told us what was wrong and we decided to take him elsewhere in the morning because of their lack of professionalism. Got called back for his pain medication because they said we forgot it. We showed back for it and they tried charging us another 200$ for stuff they never said they were going to charge us for. They are so inconsiderate! Please dont take your furry family here!

Excellent Veterinary care. Took great care of my German Shepherd dog who was in pain.

The staff here is amazingly helpful and friendly, took my boyfriend and I’s dog Zeus here because of a bad ear infection and ear hematoma. They immediately took care of him, gave us several options and a quote. We saw them weekly for 3 weeks and had everything taken care of, at an extremely good price. We got quotes from other vets before coming to healing hands and they were extremely expensive and not worth our time. Highly recommend coming here well worth your time and money, they’re amazing to your animals.

Our dog was having difficulty breathing and we felt it best to find a vet and take her in. If it hadnt been for Healing Hands we would have had to double our drive to get to Boise for a night vet. Very nice building, super clean and up to date materials. Staff was super nice and reassuring and took care of our pup in no time. Prices were fair and it was reassuring to get the help we needed for our fur baby in the late hours.

Not only am I happy to FINALLY have an emergency vet available in the area, they are AMAZING!DR. Lavalle diagnosed a condition COMPLETELY ignored by my rabbits regular vet for over a year. Even though we took her in several times. Turns out all they had to do was OPEN HER MOUTH AND LOOK!!! Our limited choices on vets that will see exotic animals (yes, they consider rabbits exotic 🤦‍♀️) leaves us with no one to turn to for a second opinion. UNTIL NOW!Word of advice? BE PATIENT IF YOU GO! They deal with EVERY emergency in the area. Expect long wait times. Be kind! Be respectful!It is worth it.

We took our Odin there for possible parvo. He did have it, they were open on a Sunday kept him till the next day. The doctor called us and would update us on his status. They ran blood tests, he was on IVs and in good care. Our puppy survived and we couldn’t be more grateful for them. The pricing was not as high as I was expecting for emergency care either. They also called to check on him when he was home. Odin is now home and playing like a rock star.

I suspected that my puppy has Parvo and I called the two places I normally have taken my dogs to in the past. Twin Falls Veterinary Hospital said it would be over $500 for the exam and test, thats not counting the treatments. Green Acres just told me that they were all booked up for today and wouldnt even quote me a price, the only good thing they did for me today was give me the name to this place. Unfortunately because of health issues I was not able to go with her there, my Daughter, her husband, and her son took her for me. They gave me 2 options for treatment, I am very thankful for what they did for me and my puppy.

I would recommend Healing Hands highly..The wait was a bit long but that is to be expected at an ER. We got right into a room and our issue was addressed and although it turned out to be nothing serious, ( Im a bit of an over protective mom) the dr was very thorough in his exam. We left there feeling confident that we made the right choice by taking her in. Prices are very reasonable also..Thank you to the Staff, Keep up the awesome work!!

Dr Lavallee and his staff are all great. Any time my kitten has needed veterinary care Ive always first left a message via their website. They always respond quickly and schedule an appointment to reduce my wait time.At the appointment Dr Lavallee was very calm, compassionate, professional, and thorough. By the end of the exam he was able to give me a diagnosis, treatment plan, and a full breakdown of the cost.When the recommended treatment cost more than I could pay Dr Lavallee was willing to work with me to keep the costs down to something I could afford without sending Blue home to suffer untreated.All of Twin Falls is very lucky to have Dr Lavallee and his staff at Healing Hands Small Animal Emergency Hospital! Thank you for all your help with Blue and keep up the good work!

I have not gone to Healing Hands Small Animal Hospital but my 5 stars is for Dr. Lavallee when he was at a different location. He was able to correctly diagnose my cats issue when a other vet was unable to two days previously. Great on follow up visits. He is kind and knowledgeable and will address concerns in a understandable manner. Twin Falls is lucky to have him in their area. I highly recommend him.

Glad they opened here in Twin falls out cat got sick on a Sunday night and we werent sure shed make it to see our regular vet. They saw her same day gave us a diagnosis and medicine and shes doing very well, healing hands even reached out to us a few days later to make sure our cat was recovering well, they pricing isnt bad either especially for an emergency clinic. Id give a higher score but the max is 5 stars.

Never been here before, but sharing a good review cause it looks like one person got all their friends to smear this clinic after one bad experience and I dont think they deserve that.

We recently had to put down our companion of ten years. It was heartbreaking and very emotional. The staff were very polite and professional during the process. Exactly the way it should be. I recommend Healing Hands 100%. Thank you guys for everything you did to make our process go smooth.

What a great and needed place in Twin Falls! We had a problem with our puppy after being hospitalized at another vet. Our vet did not return our calls and neither did their after hours emergency. The whole experience at Healing Hands was great. We were able to get right in and Dr. Lavallee almost immediately found what the other vet had missed went over the xrays and options. He gave her an emergency surgery right away! The people at Healing Hands really seem to care about animals. They were very kind to both our puppy and us. They were not over priced and did a fantastic job! Im very happy they were there and our puppy is doing great. Thank You to the whole staff!

I am so very thankful that Healing Hands is in Twin Falls. They saved my baby’s life last night. After having her hospitalized at Green Acres for two days, they were unable to tell me what was wrong with Ripley, sent me home with medications with little to no instruction and charged me an arm/leg for no definitive answers. Last night she regressed and got worse than she was before taking her to the vet the first time. I called Healing Hands and we got an appointment set up right away. Within 30 minutes Dr. Lavallee knew what was wrong with my pup and ended up preforming an emergency surgery to remove a sock from Ripley’s small intestine. She’s home with me now and feeling so much better even after having an operation. I can express my gratitude enough. Thank you to Dr. Lavallee and his amazing/friendly staff!

Would not recommend. The experience was so negative, the lack of professionalism was evident from the moment we walked in. If it wasnt because we were in dier need for a vet we would of walked right out! Before they even new what was wrong with our pet they ran the bill and demanded we pay. Also it would not hurt if they showed some compassion.

Would not recommend, they lack professionalism and they are inconsiderate. Please save your money and go elsewhere. All they care about is money.
