Very poor experience. My vehicle was at this sorry excuse for a shop for almost a year. I was charged for parts that were not replaced, My transmission was installed improperly, silicone was used as a temporary bandaid to fix leaks, parts were missing from my rear breaks causing a potentially dangerous situation and my clutch was almost burnt up because of temporary half a** mechanic work. When it came to honor the warranty they guaranteed I was told lies and excuses. I was charged more and more money every time I had to take my vehicle back for warranty work. I finally took my truck to a different shop to get it fixed the right way. I have requested a refund because I had to take my vehicle to a different shop to fix bobs autos warrantied work.I do not recommend this shop to anyone because I was charged top dollar for parts that werent installed and work that wasnt performed. They refuse to fix their mistakes and honor their warranty so now Im stuck with having to pay for the same repairs twice. Avoid being ripped off and dont use this shop

I do not recommend this mechanic shop. My own cousin own this shop. I took my car to get fixed. It did get fixed but the mechanic working on my car. The lying mechanic said the sensor was on when he pulled it in to get fixed. He lied scammed and I have proof of it. I did want any favors, I just wanted my car fixed correctly. And not lied, scammed and degraded.

I trust Pardeep, and feel that my car is in good hands. It runs like a champ and I couldnt be happier!!!

Every thing you ever read about auto repairs always tells you to find an honest mechanic. We had been taken advantage of, and seemed it was hard to find someone to trust. THIS is the place! Pardeep is honesty, trustworthy, and hell tell you all you need to know whats going on with your car, AND… hell stand by his repairs. He is truly a pleasure to deal with!

Being a mechanic myself, I do not take my cars in for most repairs, so I do not know the quality of their workmanship in other areas, but I have been going to Bobs for many years for all my smog needs. I have always appreciated the manner and advice with which Pardeep has handled my smog needs in all my vehicles in the last years.

My cars have been maintained by Bobs Auto for more than 10 years. I am completely satisfied to have my car repaired by Bobs Auto. Very rarely there was mis-diagnosis happened to my cars. Bobs Auto always did the job in an honest and professionally responsible manner. If it was a problem related to the previous repair they did, they would not even charge you for the labor cost. No matter what, Bobs Auto always reports to you absolutely honestly the problems they found; they will never ever report to you any make-up problem about your car. Based on my more than 10 years experience with this auto shop, I can assure you that you can trust the owners skills and integrity completely.

There is no better place we can entrust our cars than Bobs Auto in Turlock. Our cars have been well maintained and repaired for 15 years by Bobs Auto. Owner Pradeep and his family often go out of their way to pitch in when there is work to be done. They show understanding, thoughtfulness and honesty in dealing with our cars. Great customer service, i only went in for a smog check & was in & out within 20 min, car didnt pass smog & he gave me a few suggestions he also gave me advice to go to the dmv & get an extension on my registration bcuz my car didnt pass smog. I recommend this place & will be returning for future work, they also do tune ups, service engines & brakes all in all good honest service

They hot my light to turn off

Initially I was pleased with the work and the prices for parts and labor; but then my roommate took her car in for work. The first trip wasnt so bad, (or we didnt think so) but the second trip for her air conditioning system was outrageously over priced and so she took the car elsewhere for a second opinion. Mean time her friends and co-workers are asking her why she took her vehicle to Bobs. Low and behold the 2nd tech found hoses that were not connected, bolts that were not tight or needed tightening or were missing altogether from the work on the water pump. Also after the 2nd tech did his diagnosis of the AC system, the only issue he found was a bad hose. Previously she had been told at Bobs that the condenser needed to be replaced and the work would cost over $500. The 2nd tech said that his price for parts would be $150 max and maybe... 2 hours of labor. Thats approximately $300 total. A $200 dollar difference. Now this makes me wonder what they may have messed up or over priced or over looked on my truck. I wont be going back for any more work on my truck and I wont be referring anymore business to Bobs either.Very disappointed in a business I believed in and trusted. Now I have to find another mechanic.

These guys are real ripoff artist especially the owner Pridip. I heard a guy in the shop complaining over being over charged $2000, I should have ran out the door then but I decided to stay. I ended up getting ripped off myself over mis-diagnosed work. Like they say buyer beware. Seniors and women should stay clear from this shop if you value your dollar, men you already know what to do. If you still decide to use these con men dont say you were not warned when you leave and your car is still running the same and they have your cold hearted cash.............

Dishonest people and the owner straight up lied to me even admit it and says sorry for taking back his word to fixing my truck after I paid $680 on a tune up and diagnostic test. It wouldnt pass smog and they promised to get it ready for me so I can take it in, 900 miles later still wont pass. Never trust them again. Id rate 0 if i could.

Had my smog done here and thats the only place I take my vehicle for smog.They are very nice people with fairly reasonable prices.
