I have had great experiences with Sam and his crew in the past, have recommended many, many people needing work done. Very competitive prices, fast turn around. But my last service saw a sky rocket in his prices and service. Close to $600 to replace alternator. Being very familiar with automotive, sometimes choose to support local businesses over doing my self. This job was completely doable myself but since Sam had done so well in the past I trusted him and his shop. I didn’t ask for an estimate, I should have. So when the bill came was pretty shocked. Unfortunately may be looking for another garage after this. This one stung and overshadows the last job which was about the same price to replace timing belt a much more labor intensive job than this one.

Sam is like family. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my cars. He and his staff go above and beyond every time we pull on his shop. Even if its just adviseHe listens and trys to find the root of your vehicles problems. Thing he says a lot isITS UP TO YOU. Authentically good people and mechanics !

I needed an O2 Sensor replaced the replaced the wrong one. I went there with 2 check engine codes now I have 3 engine codes. So pretty much paid them $90 just so they can add another problem for me.

Fast and courteous service really competitive Pricing

Terrible service! And very dishonest people! I took my car in for a much needed brake replacement, and I was told it would be just a few hours. I had to call them after 5 hours only to be told it would be finished the following day and that they had not even touched it yet. I drove my car there and I did not feel comfortable driving it back as I don’t live close by. If they would have called early enough, I would have taken my car on time to a competent brake shop and had my car ready for work and school the next day. Now I’m stuck with no way to get to school or work because of these incompetent and lying “mechanics”. And instead of apologizing, the man in charge tries to say he meant a few hours but he thought I would take it until the following day after I literally took it to him today. Why didn’t he tell me then? Pathetic! No ability to take responsibility whatsoever for their mistakes. And then he dares to call me to hurry up and pick up my car because he is closed and he wants to go home. Thanks to this incompetent and deceitful shop now I’m stuck with a rolling death trap to go to work and school. Thanks for wasting my time! I will never take my business here ever again, and I will tell all of my acquaintances to steer clear of these people. If I could give it zero stars, I would. If you want to waste your time and then be chastised for their incompetence, visit this place.

Awesome owner who doesnt try to take advantage of you. Even told me how to save more money by buying certain parts online and having him install them. They go above and beyond to take care of me every time. Prices are very comparative, and service is outstanding. They even tried restoring my headlights without charge because they were so bad. I recommend Auto 1 shop to all and i bet you wont regret going there if you give them a try.

When I needed a wheel bearing replaced, he gave me a fair price and fixed everything promptly. I went to him for an oil change, tire rotation, etc, same story.Sam is an honest guy and does good work. He never took advantage. He deserves to be your guy to go to when you need work done.

I’m from Santa Rosa, Ca and while visiting in Turlock my van broke down. On top of that the Internet was down and it was 95 degrees! Sam was amazing, sourcing the part he needed to fix my van, putting other business aside, and we were in and out of there in less than 4 hours. This shop was a life saver and San ROCKS! Slow workers, took my car a month ago for an A/C repair and they took so much longer than promised. Prices are more expensive than other nearby shops and they are very more professional than this place.

Engine light came on, stopped here and Sam was right there to help us, driving a Diesel Mercedes which was a vehicle they don’t normally work on. Sam cleared the engine light code and called around to find us a place that could work on it. Thanks again Sam

Felt unwanted here. Had issues with car and yes he looked at it, but didn’t fix it. Told me to get it fixed elsewhere and then he’ll look at it again.
