I had high hopes for this place but left disappointed. The auction started over 30 minutes late. The items on offer are just sort of laying all over the floor in the sales arena which makes it incredibly hard to preview them and check the quality. This is largely due to the fact that they had a lot of stuff which is nice but not when things are inefficiently run. Despite having several helpers in the ring, there would still be long delays moving on after an item was sold. It was long after 10 when we left and they hadnt even gotten to the horses yet.

Had a great time at this place. Its an open air location with gets HOT in the summer but awesome deals can be had here. Get a number on the way in because youll see something you just have to have.

Not a bad place for a good deal if you know what to look for!

Cowtown is a bare-bone auction. You can pick up a good horse here if you look close. There is plenty of time to see the horses before the auction. I bring a pocket of small treats. One can tell a little about a horse in how it takes a treat. Some people drug horses to show them. Cowtown does not condone this action, but it happens. The last horse I bid on was at $175, but when I won that horse they said $200. OK, no big deal, the auction is not prefect. She is a good horse for $222 out the door.

People are great but the auction was just unorganized here it is 11 oclock at night and well still waiting to load up the stuff we bought. Maybe it was just a bad night but really, I thought Id be home by now.
