Terrible place to live. Half the washer/dryers are out at any given time, management is always a pain to deal with and frequently ignores resident requests. Walls are incredibly thin. AC is a wall unit similar to a cheap motel and barely cools the room its in.Go somewhere else, I cant stress it enough.

Worst place ever! Complexes are old, management doesnt care and corners are always being cut. Mold and roaches are an issue....still. Also, they always loose your maintenance requests and dont attempt to fix the problem till almost a month later; terribly unorganized. Their parking policy is horrible and they really dont seem to care about the population they serve. Remodeling is nice, but management is horrible! Even moving out was a hassle and they still want to take your money. Like others before, I also gladly paid them in order for me to move out. Students: not the best place to be when you want to concentrate on studying. Also forget about having friends and family visit, they cant park in the complex (even under your own paid stall) and parking out in the street is near impossible. Bring your lawyer along with you before moving in and moving out of park place; they dont make it easy. I agree with Miss Yang Lee.

Management is slow to respond, and unhelpful when they do. The rent might be cheap, but the apartments are dilapidated, even once renovated. Most units with central air simply have what youd find in a cheap hotel, a wall unit. It does nothing for the rooms on the other side of the apartment, which is surprising given how small they are.

The quality of tenants seems to be lacking these days. I know this because I have the dubious honor of being surrounded by three pot heads, and it stinks! If you dont want to be exposed to this $hit, I would strongly and wholeheartedly ill-advise choosing Park Place.

The staff are friendly & courteous. The grounds are well maintained. The laundry facilities are lacking, but adequate. Still dont understand why there is no change machine for coin operated machines.

Ive had the unfortunate experience of Park Place being my first apartments. The walls/front door are INCREDIBLY thin. You can hear EVERYTHING. Youll hear your neighbors conversations, and yes...youll hear them having sex every morning too. Also, everything in the apartment is cheap. Popcorn ceilings and paint chipping off the cabinets and shower floor. This is what you get for $900+ a month.

I dont like their services at all! They dont care about what their resident, all they care about is the rent money coming from us. I have problems with cockroach for the past one year and went to tell the office and they told me that they will have someone come over and spray the area where the cockroach is at. Well, a week past by and there were more cockroach then before. Went to tell them again, and they asked me, well have you tells us about your problem and I said yes, I just came in last week. They check and said, oh they are suppose to do a follow up on the spraying . Okay, they did come but after that I never saw them again and these cockroach wouldnt go away. One time I was laying down on my bed, and a cockroach was crawling on my bed next to me. That was it, I went to tell them that I want to end my lease because of this, like I am so gross out to the point I dont even eat or touch any of my dishes. Well, they said have you told us. I said yes, and you guys are not getting it fixes. So one of the girl in the office, suggest to move into another apartment, studio, or to Boardwalk which I have to share with strangers and I have to pay more than I do now. I lived in a one bed and one bath for 855 a month and it was not worth it. They made it so hard just ending my lease and I was willing to pay 2,500 just to cancel my lease. They were just so confusing and rude. I would not suggest anyone to lived here. Also, I lived upstairs and people are always smoking weeds which come up to your apartment and it would smells for days. Good luck if you decide to live here. One thing I dont like too, is visitor cant even park under our stall if your families or friend visit, they would have to park on the street. They just asked for too much!

Youll never forget living at Park Place! Mostly because almost a year after leaving I still get rent statements from them even though I no longer have a lease or any sort of connection to them. Ive called every month asking to stop receiving them and every time Im told that theyll see to it that I stop receiving them or that it takes a couple tries to get it to stick.

Horrible complex. I have only lived here a month and a half and have only had my a/c working for 8 of those days. I have called every time my a/c goes out and they drag their feet to fix it. My a/c has leaked all over my apartment and their solution is telling me to just move my furniture. It also is not an emergency to them when it goes out on the weekend when the temps are warm! Wish I would’ve never moved in to the complex. If I could give a zero star review I would.

These apartments are terrible I and many other tenants would not recommend. From sinks that either leak or shoot water at you, to terribly modeled, and even worse management.I have woken up to an entire kitchen and living room flooded, told to just spray hot water and bleach on the mildew growing in the home. Andrea being the absolute worst to have to deal with WHEN and IF you actually get the chance considering she seems to take many personal days throughout EVERY week. She has even had the audacity after such poor managing skills to raise her voice at me. Not to mention the placed is infested with spiders, roaches, and pincher bugs. This will all be taken to someone hire for the sake of future tenants.

This is one of the worst places I’ve lived in! The management has no regard for tenants and regularly shuts off the water without notice! The city of Turlock and Stanislaus county are both investigating their poor management skills and disregard for habitable living. They are constantly renovating without notifying neighboring tenants and the walls have NO insulation making it so you can hear every word your neighbors on all sides are saying and what passerby’s outside are saying as well! After numerous complaints management does nothing and I’ve even had a maintenance worker climb onto my balcony without notice to fix the exterior wall, thankfully my blinds were closed and I wasn’t naked!!!

I would rate zero if that was an option. The management is very poor and unwilling to handle ongoing problems. The washers and dryers are always out of service or broken. The water is always on “emergency shut off” or down for maintenance but never seems to be fixed. Also the units are outdated, cheaply put together, and sloppy. Honestly the worst apartments I’ve ever lived at. I had low expectations when moving in but it’s even worse than I thought. Save your money and sanity and do not move here.

Call me picky or whatever, but I had some good expectations of this place. I honestly moved here to be closer to the university but I know now. These units suck. Hard. Not worth the 900+ rent. The walls are so thin I couldnt believe it, you will hear the screams and wailings of the children next or on top of your unit and wonder if theyre being murdered or just being kids. Doesnt have to be screams either, conversations can be heard too. Not to mention the ongoing noises of renovations. The shower sucks, I got small streams of water to wash with. Oh, and the toilet is faulty in that if you dont tap on the handle gently enough it will keep spilling water to fill up the tank and will run your water bill unless you tap that sucker. and the cieling will mold super fast also. The A/C in the wall is ajoke during the summer (unless yall get the central ones for a couple hundred $$ more). Earwigs and roaches seem to come from nowhere. See one roach? There is probably a few more hiding no matter how clean you leave your place. My kitchen cabinets also look like theyre falling off the wall slowly...Also, 300 deposit for a pet? Really? With an addition to $25 to your rent? Is my pet gonna help with the rent too? I should get the roaches and earwigs to help too.
