I am leaving a one star review only because I had to pick something. I had my loved one in three nursing homes. And this one and one other one were a tie for the worst ever. I dont know where to begin. first of all, the employees referred to the hall my mother was on as the gravy train. She became confined to her bed and that was it. no face washing, no teeth brushing, no diaper changing. CNA walked in dropped off her food and left. did not open the food. did not sit her up in the bed. did not put bib on her neck. dropped off food and left. I had to call my own care plan meetings. I had to schedule her doc appoints based on my observation. The doctor is a joke. pure joke. told me he saw no purpose to monitor other problems (diabetes, CHF, etc) on my mom because she had cancer. I would have felt better if he just told me she was going to die anyway so dont bother me with other problems. He would come to facility and not look at her chart and not see her (during her entire stay there). The business office manager wont even say her name when she answers the phone and she has major attitude as if she is miserable too. The rest of the staff decided to vouch for the doctor and his malpractice. The NP was a fluke too. The DON was the best thing they had going (I hope she gets a better job somewhere else for her sake.) They were a complete team of idiots. Dont do it!!!! I can go on and on. but to make a long story short. DO NOT DO IT!!!
