I called State Farm to get some information after my father had just passed away days ago. I was calling to find out about my father’s life insurance policy. I reached Shawn King. I only had my father’s bank statement showing he was having automatic drafts taken from his account from State Farm. had no policy number but knew my father had a life insurance policy. Right away, Shawn was very pleasant and sympathetic offering his condolences and assistance. He initially came up empty and was unable to find a policy for my father. I had been told by a previous representative at the national number that since I had no policy number or name of my father’s agent, I’d have to call each local branch office in the city to try and find the agent’s name. I thanked Shawn for checking and told him I’d move on down my list of local officers. He immediately offered to help stating he would send a group email to all of the local agents in the area to inquire who the agent was so that I wouldn’t have to use my time calling each one especially during this difficult time. That was a tremendous burden lifted from my shoulders. But he didn’t stop there. When he got no positive responses from any of the other agents, he moved on to other alternatives. In the end, he found the policy for my family. He did this quickly and was always responsive and kind. Shawn went above and greatly beyond during one of the most stressful and difficult times in my life. Instead of passing the buck, he showed professionalism, understanding, compassion and the most basic human kindness that’s rare in such a chaotic world we now live in. There are still good people out there and you never know when you’ll meet one. I’d highly recommend signing on with State Farm with Shawn King as your agent. He was great!!!

Well let me tell you all about the over the top experience I have experienced with Shawn King and Kim Harbin at State Farm. They have been really great with handling my personal needs. Shawn took time on his off day(Saturday) away from his family to come to his office literally all day to help Justin and I with our needs. Kim made sure I got the best insurance quote ever. I now pay less for 2 vehicles(both full coverage) + life insurance(outside of my job) than I was paying for 1 vehicle with Alfa. They have kept me up to date on every step throughout the process. I have been searching for cheaper car insurance for a while and thanks to these guys I now have cheaper insurance.
