Fantastic deep clean of the bathroom!

My wife hired two cleaners for three hours for a small apartment move-out clean. The apartment was not filthy to begin with, but we wanted to save our own time with all the finishing touches.She filled out a sheet based on what she wanted cleaned. The only things that where well-done where the bathrooms and refrigerator. Nearly all of the other items where not touched, including baseboards, cabinets, and window tracks. They cleaned a few window tracks, but did not close the windows to clean the other side.My wife and I went back to finish things up, and it did not take us long to do a thorough cleaning of the items we paid to have cleaned.Overall, we are disappointed with this cleaning service and would not recommend them highly to others for a move-out cleaning.

Our house looked beautiful! With 5 kids, 2 dogs, and both of us working full time, it’s really hard for us to stay on top of everything. I came home from work pretty much in tears due to stress and exhaustion and I walked into the best thing ever: a sparkling clean house! I’m serious when I say I can’t thank you guys enough. Today was my first day with Merry Maids. I came home at lunch to check in and see if the team had any questions. They did not. The were polite and worked hard. I got home after work to a beautiful CLEAN home! Thank you very much!!.

If I could give negative stars I would. Do not use them. Overpriced with poor management and cleaning. I had to have a whole second cleaning done again by another company. I paid over $140 per hour for 2 people that took over 5 hours to clean ....what? Paid another company who took 10 hours with one lady she cleaned every nook and cranny and paid only 300 and the place looks brand new. Cannot get ahold of coorporate company to get money back and local management was unprofessional and rude. A cleaning that in the end should of only cost 300$ ended up ober $800.

We are absolutely thrilled with how clean the house is now. I had a car accident five months ago and havent been able to clean effectively since then. In one afternoon the house went from chaotic to pristine.

Thanks for the great clean! I especially appreciated the vacuuming of my furniture and all the pine needles I missed from my Christmas tree were vacuumed up. So grateful for all the help. Thank you!

I had specifically asked for a detailed vacuuming to get along the baseboards, under furniture etc and she delivered!! Very professional, walked me through after to show what was done, very kind to my little girl who kept chattering away at her. Jennifers customer service and awesome cleaning were top notch!!.

Michelle was so professional and such a hard worker and a delight to have in my home! I’m requesting her return for future cleaning visits!!

Everyone I spoke to in the process was friendly, polite, and professional. The team that came to my home was able to come early and did a very good surface clean. There were a few things, more of a seasonal checklist that we also requested, such as cleaning the top of the fridge and the base boards which didnt get done, even though they finished early and had to wait for me to get back to the house after stepping out with my niece. They also let my dogs out of their kennel without asking while I wasnt there. My pups are lovely and friendly, but I didnt tell them that, just apologized for their initial barking. What would they have done if they hadnt been people loving dogs? Over all though, they did a good enough job. I would be a lot more specific and more thorough in my checking once they were done next time. It did shell just absolutely wonderful after words though.

The cleaning crew is fast and efficient and does a great job. I run my own business, so I dont have a lot of time to clean, so it is a blessing to have Merry Maids take care of my home. I love having my house looking so clean and smelling fresh. They do an excellent job and the price is right.

Weve had Merry Maids of Olympia come out several weeks now and Im very pleased and grateful for them! I work at home and have two boys and two dogs and a husband who arent the cleanest creatures. I love the few hours of lovely cleanliness that occur after Merry Maids has visited - until the two legged kids come home. :) But seriously they do a great job and are very respectful to the fact that I do work from home. Today they held off vacuuming until I was done with a client call. Appreciated it a ton!

[Service, Price, Cleaning Team]It would be nice to have cleaning services earlier in the day so my partner and I could plan out anything. As it stands we have to be within 10 minutes of our house from 8 am until 4:30 pm because we never know when the Merry Maids’ team is going to show up. It would be nice if the early email we receive 2-3 days before the cleaning day, letting us know our cleaning is scheduled, also had a time for the cleaning.We’ve been consistent bi-weekly customers for over a year (or two?) at this point and it seems like our cleaning schedules started out around 10-11 am, and then slowly got later and later to the point we are forced to wait around the house all day because, again, we don’t know what time the cleaning team is going to show up.

I had a horrible expierance. They spoke Spanish in front of me thinking I did not understand them. Complained n made obvious gestures tht I smoked OUTSIDE more than 25 feet away from building! Used the word hmmm to all my answers that the owner asked. Almost like she disapproved or dis not believed me. Finally NEVER returned my calls, emails, or notes from when I stopped by. Very UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Horrible expierance. Discriminated against me for my ideas, extrovert Ness, n color of my skin. Oh my mother being the competition.

They were on time, worked hard, and were better than I expected. Very happy with their work.

Love the service! When Im at work, I work. When Im off and its time to relax...I can do so without having CLEANING hanging over my head. Relax time is RELAX TIME! And me and the Mrs. get along better as well. :)

I have been using Merry Maids for at least 5 years now. They are PHENOMINAL! I am super picky and they never disappoint. I especially love Desiree because she is a very personable young lady and her cleaning skills are impeccable. We have had others that do a great job also. I have had frequent knee and foot surgeries, and the help has made my life more enjoyable. I am extremely satisfied.

I work at Merry Maids! One of the best jobs Ive ever had. Literally. These people care! I am so grateful to be employed by a company that values their employees and makes sure that they know it. It might not be the highest paying job Ive ever had but it is certainly the one where I feel the most loved. Its somewhere I would want my daughter or son to work.

Merry Maids was wonderful, very attentive and accommodating. I appreciate their attention to detail with the special care instructions for our flooring, tile, and countertop care etc. Everything looks awesome and so far very pleased with the service. I also like how my home doesnt smell like it has just been cleaned ie chemical odor, just smells fresh. Looking forward to having them back.

As is typical, our home was left sparkling clean by our team. They are the best.

Horrible experience. Was not informed of aspects of their pricing. They held me to a contract that I was not informed nor signed. I had to pay a higher rate than I was quoted to get out of said contract. Areas of my home were not cleaned and dirt was found on many of the floors. Bed was not made, etc. A high schooler could have done better and much less for a 1.5 bath and 1 bedroom home $260!!! Byvthey. If you have issues. They are not well versed in customer service. Its wonderful to return home after the Merry Maids staff has visited. Its the attention to detail that my wife loves, their dependability, and the little touches of their service. Its like coming home to an upscale hotel when theyve made the bed. Everything is shiny and polished where they have dusted, and they top it off with a friendly note card when they are finished. The office staff is a pleasure to deal with as well. We highly recommend Merry Maids.

Merry Maids has done an awesome job cleaning my place. I am pretty good at keeping it picked up, but I dont have time to get that deep cleaning a house needs every so often. They came in and went right to work.

First, its a delight to have my home completely clean every other week. It makes it easier for me to keep it clean between times. Second, I have been very happy with the young women who have come to do the work. I consider it an advantage to have a pair come who can help each other and complete the work much more quickly. Third, I am very much impressed with the professionalism of not just the service providers but the whole company. It is good to receive notice of workers being on their way with names provided so I know who to expect when I go to the door. Lastly, I do have one minor complaint. I wish that there was more consistency in who comes. I would prefer to deal with people I have already met rather than having to meet new people each time.

The Merry Maids teams have been punctual, courteous, and do good work efficiently. I recommend them for home cleaning. But the work of Molli has been exceptional. She worked very hard and the house sparckles.

They arrived late, the first 2 person crew left early and were replaced by a second crew all total 5 people came to clean. I have claw foot tubs and the floor under the tubs was not swept or washed. There was visible dirt left. The pedestal sinks had a line of dirt around the bases.I contacted the office repeatedly but the phone call kept dropping. The cleaning was a gift. I moved items so area was unobstructed. After the crew got to the house I asked if I had identified enough work to cover the hours paid for, what I was told was additional people were coming to clean (3 more) and all the time would be spent. I ran an errand during the cleaning and although I returned before I had calculated the crew would be gone there was no one present.I am not satisfied with my experience and I have not been successful contacting the office between dropped calls and no answer during business hours. I would have liked to email the office privately but it appears that is not possible, so I am stuck posting my complaint.E. Turnbow

This was the most thorough cleaning I have ever received. I am really impressed! Everything was over and above my expectations! I had other cleaners in the past from other companies where I was really disappointed and I was worried to hire a cleaner again. This made me so happy! The ladies here were amazing!!!

I loved working for merry maids as a cleaning service they were the most accommodating and Pleasant cleaning business to work for. They are very flexible compared to a lot of Small cleaning businesses.

I have to give a one star review. To start off with we were referred by a friend and the cleaning staff did a great job. But the office staff. One they flat out lied to me and then when I caught them in a lie then they started back pedaling. The price difference was $35 more for us than the people who referred them to us. Since then they raised the amount of the people who referred them to us. One clear sign of a deceptive business is American Maids dont like customers talking about their pricing. I was told this by American Maid office staff. Buyer beware. Also just got my bill from them for the initial cleaning of an 1100 square foot space. $348. We didnt have them clean the whole house either. Its like Im paying for the repercussions of catching them in a lie. Buyer beware again.

I just had my first cleaning today and I am totally blown away. Lindsay and Gladys showed up early (after calling to make sure it was okay) and did such a thorough job, I dont know if I my house has ever been this clean.They cleaned every corner, crevice, baseboard, got the stains out of the grout in my shower (I had tried everything on them!) and got my kitchen floor cleaner than Ive seen it in years. The kitchen counters and cabinets look amazing, the stove, fridge and sinks all sparkle. I have never seen such attention to detail. Not only that, they were delightful people. They worked tirelessly almost all day and were upbeat, funny and a pleasure to have around. They even made fast friends with my cats, which was super sweet!When I went to wash the dishes to get them out of their way, Lindsay let me know that they would do that from now on and they gave me some great cleaning tips to solve some of my ongoing challenges, too.These folks clearly take their jobs seriously and take pride in their work. They bring all of their own supplies and really care about doing a great job. They checked with me often during the day to make sure they hadnt missed anything, and I was really impressed when they sent someone by (Nicole?) to check the quality of the work before they finished up.I highly recommend Merry Maids, especially Lindsay and Gladys, as well as Ashley who showed up to help in the afternoon. I really look forward to having them come regularly. I could not be happier with the job they did, they exceeded all expectations and then some.

While working away, we had the company come into the house for cleaning. They were professional and prompt, but on return from the work assignment, I found several small pieces of jewelry missing. I was exceedingly disappointed, and now wonder what else may have been taken of which I am unaware.

The first time I used Merry Maids the team that showed up did excellent, quick work and I was really impressed. The 2nd time, however, the team was very slow, they barely got half of what I wanted done and very mediocre work, I was told to ask them to redo anything I wasnt satisfied with but after 4 hours I lost patience.

Awesome, detail oriented staff. Keep up the great work.

They were extremely thorough, even getting to tight places I didnt think to ask for. They kept within the time estimate and I couldnt be more satisfied.

Our Merry Maids staff are very professional but also friendly. They work so hard, reaching high and low and are very thorough. We are seniors who need help and they fit the bill.

I am so frustrated and disappointed. The first time they cleaned my house it looked amazing. The next two times my shower doors were never done and they even left a dirty sponge and rag on my bathroom counter. Then to top it off, there was a no call/no show. It happened to be on a day that I was really looking forward to it because I was hosting a get together at my home that evening. When I called the office to let them know no one showed up, that I have been very disappointed in the service and want to cancel, I was told I would probably have to pay a cancellation fee! I would not recommend this service.

Tara & Kaili are usually the staff at Merry Maids that clean my home. In my opinion, they go above and beyond and do an excellent job. I started a new business this year and work 16 to 18 hours a day and having Tara & Kaili clean makes my life so much easier. I look forward to cleaning day and commend them for taking on my home - especially with a husband and 2 boys that run amuck when I am gone all the time. Kudos to both of them as they are always up to the task. Thank you very much, I really appreciate their hard work and dedication.

Worst company ever to work for! I was in a bad car accident on the job when another employee was driving. This August will be 2 years. I suffered from a back sprain and my c2 axis is all messed up causing me chronic neck pain, stiffness, numbness, tingling in the arm, ringing in my ears and headaches its permanently messed up!! I can have surgery to have my C2 removed but thats a scary surgery. They treated me like crap acting like it was my fault, they got in trouble with L&I a few times for not following my Drs light duty orders! So now she is holding a grudge. To top it off the owner Jennifer Campbell refuses to give me or my lawyer my lost income information or W2s. All around bad company. Tara
