I transferred here for work on crowns and some aesthetic things I want fixed, as well as ongoing care. The work hasn’t been done yet, but so far I appreciate that the office is well run and the confidence/knowledge of the dentist. Looking forward to the next steps.

The staff are the difference maker at this clinic. Their office is clean and neat as any other professional dental office I have seen. From the front desk to the treatment room and beyond everyone I cross paths with is kind, helpful, and ready to serve their patients. Some people may deeply enjoy the spa and entertainment services they offer while you are getting dental work done such as the ability to stream shows and even receive a mechanical chair massage.

I hate the dentist... hadnt been in 3 years and I was dreading it. The place is new and very modern and full of comfort options to make you enjoy your visit. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my aversions of the Dentist. They made me feel very comfortable and didnt shame me for not coming to the dentist in so long. I would highly recommend them, especially for those who do not like the dentist. I wont say that I cant wait to go back... but I will go back on schedule!

The Tumwater “Tranquility Wellness Center” provided the best dental care I have ever experienced! Professional, courteous, and friendly. Dr Cockrell and his staff make you feel like family. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Dr Cockrell is very gentle, pleasant to visit with and informative. He was so patient with me and my many questions (big hugs to Dr ). Dr Cockrell is honest and straight forward. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money. You know you are in good hands when you find a dentist with integrity. As someone who has a lot of anxiety over the dentist, I was terrified to switch clinics. However I have loved every visit at tranquility dental. The staff is so friendly and there isn’t a lot of turnover so it’s nice to see familiar faces there. It feels more like a spa than a dental clinic, and I’ve always received wonderful care. I feel much more comfortable going to the dentist now!

My daughter and I went for our routine cleaning today and had an amazing experience. My daughter is only 3 and they were amazing with her. The staff was incredibly patient and understanding with her. They talked her through the entire process and kept her smiling. Definitely would recommend!

Support staff are great. I cannot say the same about the dentist, Caldwell. None of the work he has done was very impressive. My last two visits were a nightmare. Heworked on crown this summer and when he went to remove the temporary the adhesive was too strong. He and an assistant tried to wiggle it free, which was painful and unnerving. Caldwell was particularly rough and I feared he was going to extract the tooth. I went back to him last week to show him the inflammation in my gums and to ask him from some better pain relief than I was getting from Ibuprofen.Eventually, he had to cut it off. He took no responsibility for the issues I believe he caused and said he could only replace the crown at full price. He also refused to give me any more help with the pretty extreme pain. I had already decided to get another dentist, but went back to him because he recently did the crown. I was luckily able to see a dentist at Modern Dentistry the next day, who did X-rays and told I need a root canal, which would need to be done by a specialist. He gave Rxs for Norco and amoxicillin. After just two days I am doing much better. I also have a good impression of the new dentist. My wife also had a terrible experience, with Caldwell, when he tried to remove her wisdom teeth and had him stop trying and will not go back, l think he overestimates his skills and is a callous person. I recommend no one go to to Caldwell for anything!

The staff were as always kind and welcoming. The office is beautiful and calm. They offered me a menu of relaxing treats, and I had a hand hot wax treatment and it helped me feel calm. Im anxious about dental work, and they patiently answered my questions. Wish I wouldve started coming here sooner!

I have been going here for a short time, but each and every time they make me feel like I matter. And that is what I needed from a dental office. From the second I walk in, to even after I leave. Ive been starting at the bottom with my dental care, and Sarah has been helping me with this. She is, hands down, the greatest person Ive ever had work on my mouth. She explains everything so well, but more importantly...she listens.

My experience with Tranquility Dental Wellness today was phenomenal! They were able to accommodate me, same day, for treatment which was amazing. Dr Cockrell is very knowledgeable and gentle. During my appointment both the Dr and his assistant, Lupe, made sure that I was comfortable and not experiencing any discomfort. Dentist that I’ve had in the past only focus on the treatment, not the patient, so I was very impressed. They also have a comfort menu! WOW! Hot paraffin hand dip, Netflix, Essential Oils and much more! Talk about spoiling their patients! I highly recommend this office and I can tell you that you will not be disappointed.

I could write a book on the horrors I have experienced with my past history of dental care. I researched and interviewed several of the dental offices close to me making one appointment after another. Ashamed and frustrated at what I considered dentist hopping to find a dentist that would fit my special situation of post head and neck cancer care. I continued to drive to Mt. Vernon, WA (about 250 miles round trip) for a couple of years after moving to Tumwater, WA because I was unable to find that fit.I have found that fit ! Tranquility Dental Wellness Center in Tumwater, WA !! The staff at Tranquility are A+. Tranquility is a very unique approach to patient care and as a Registered Nurse, I have an understanding of quality patient care and the demands to give that kind of care.I praise the concept of being a spa like atmosphere, from the moment you walk in, you are relaxed, feel invited, warm and friendly. I felt like I was being cared for and listened to. From the first person I met, to the last person I talked to. Dr, Cockrell, Jennifer, Wendi, Petra and ( my apologizes) to the names of the staff I have forgotten THANK YOU !. I am a challenge and you met the challenge with grace and professionalism.

And when I had a filling done, it was very quick and painless, I was in and out in less than an hour. Great environment. They offer a range of complementary services to make going to the dentist easier/more fun/relaxing like heated massage chairs, blankets, Netflix, paraffin hand treatments and more. Hygienists and assistants were really great! Ill be coming back in the future because of them. The dentist who saw me I think is normally at the Lacey location. He was fine, didnt make too much of an impression on me. Seems nice and good at his job. The front desk person was nice, but came on a little strong. Overall a good experience and I will continue to go to Tranquility Dental.EDIT: After getting 2 fillings from the Dr. Colby Cockrell (once at Tranquility and once at his previous practice) and not being happy either time, I decided to go somewhere else. I got yet another filling at my new place and am SO HAPPY! I had no idea it could be a good experience getting a filling since both times before had been awful experiences. Both times I had to go back multiple times to have them adjusted and it still never felt right. I will not be back and neither will my husband. Moral of the story, the hygienist I saw at Tranquility is why Im leaving 2 stars for them. Its worth trying somewhere different if you arent happy.

I moved to Olympia a little over a year ago and needed to find a new dentist, I chose Capital City and have been very happy with the staff and service. Scheduling and availability has been a snap. My hygienist is great and knows her stuff and after 4 months and a new cleaning she remembered topics we talked about that I had forgotten. The day I was there they made room for a Dad and his girl who had arrived a week early, all the way from Shelton, then was scheduled while the receptionist was kind and patient with a Chinese woman struggling with her English, I was impressed.

Always enjoy having Sarah clean my teeth. She makes the entire experience very relaxing and fun. Sarah is wonderful and I look forward to my next visit.

I had my teeth cleaned by Sarah Fogle. She always does an outstanding job and is the reason I come to this dental office. She also checked my gums and did a laser gum treatment. She is very careful, gentle and professional.

If you are scared of the dentist or hate the dentist this is the place for you! I am very scared of the dentist and have a low tolorance for dental pain, basically im a big baby when it comes to the dentist.The office is beautiful. It looks like a spa when you walk in. There is even a cute little table for kids with toys and things to keep them occupied. I came with my 2yr old and husband in tow.The staff is AMAZING! From the receptionist to the dentist. Everyone is kind, sweet and gentle.My extraction that i was dreading was as wonderful as a dental experiance can be. I was treated with respect and everyone was so kind even when i was a baby about silly stuff. I got a heatset to listen to some music and the nitrious i got with my treatment put me at ease.I will be going here for all my dental needs.Seriously best dentist ever!

I am typically a big baby at the dentist. The Doctor and staff are amazing though!!! I sat in my heated massge chair with my aromatherapy warm neck roll and listened to music on headphones while having my cavity filled today. I went for my first cleaning there a couple weeks ago too and I just cant say enugh great things. Soooooo happy I found this place. Thank you all for being amazing.

One of the best things Ive done for myself, is taking good care of my teeth. Finding a good dentist is the key to good dental health. I have gone to Dr. Colby Cockrell since he started his practice in Olympia. He has an amazing new office in Tumwater that is unlike any dental office Ive been to. Its more like a Spa with hospital standards for cleanliness. I am also lucky to have Sarah as my dental hygienist, she does a complete and thorough exam and cleaning of my teeth. Her expert recommendations on prevention have helped me keep my teeth and night retainer clean. Thank you Dr. Cockrell and Sarah. You are the best!
