Whats better than finding an honest professional efficient polite reasonably priced local family-owned business to assist you when your heat pump dies a long slow death? Nothing! CH&C nursed along our old furnace until it finally gave out then helped us select a new one and installed it in one day. Friendly, fun, on time, under budget, and the new heat pump works like a dream. Hey, maybe this a dream... Nope! Look no further. These guys and gal are truly the best.

My furnace wasn’t igniting and my house was freezing! I called and a really nice and professional woman named Kai assisted me. She was able to get me in SAME day. The gentleman that came out.. Dylan was really nice, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to fix my heat ( a cracked thing inside) and now I don’t have to freeze anymore lol def using their services again and will refer this company!

Kai is so kind and helpful in every process. She rocks! Michelle returns and answers my calls so promptly! The guys who installed the system were very polite and respectful. I was home all the time they did the work and they were very respectful! Best of all is they cleaned the area they worked after they’re done - like they were never there! Our home is now comfortably warm and I’m looking forward to a comfortably cool summer time!

Kai, Corey, and their team were all fantastic from the get go. We are new to the area and called a few places to get a quote. Not only were they the best price but their customer service was better than you would get from a big company. When Kai came out for the estimate she did not try to upsell us on anything but told us exactly what we would need for our list of wants. Big companies want to brag about how big they are and how much they spend on marketing, not Kai and Corey, they are normal people trying to assist you in the best way possible. If I could give them 6 stars I would!! Totally recommend them to anyone looking for a heating and cooling company!

My furnace went out the day before 20 people were coming to my house the week of Christmas. I called Community first because my Father had used them in the past and was extremely impressed with their level of customer service and care. Unfortunately, because it was the week if Christmas they were all booked up, but Michelle went above and beyond with the customer service and talking things through with me. Ultimately I was able to get the furnace running myself. Michelles level of care and concern was amazing. Best customer experience I have had all year. Community is the real deal.

Five Star Service! I asked for a quote from 3 companies for a heat pump. Community Heating and Cooling came in with the best bid by far. They were professional, timely and responsive! They came and did the whole job in just one day. They also worked smoothly with the bank who financed us. They cleaned up after they were done as if they have been never there and provided me with good training on the system. I highly recommend using Community Heating and Cooling. If you are thinking of using them, do it youll be happy you did. They treated us so well I will certainly use them again. Our home is so comfortable using the system they installed.

We had a wonderful experience with Community Heating and Cooling. We did get a couple quotes for air conditioning from different companies, but we were so happy with our choice. Not only did we save a lot of money, but the customer service and work was excellent. There was no pressure to buy anything we didnt need. I got responses by email almost instantly. Their employees were super polite and respectful and I felt comfortable with them being at my home. I would highly recommend them.

Great experience with this company. Had two separate problems with my furnace and a/c unit called them up and they helped me trouble shoot possible fixes before they came out. I was able to fix the a/c problem and didn’t require them to come out. The other problem happened a year later they came out and found what was wrong with the furnace and helped me out. They are a great business and will definitely recommend them and use them in the future if needed.

These guys are dedicated to getting things right for their customers and are very straightforward: they gave us options on our quote, and when it was time to install Corey realized one item we’d requested was unnecessary. He explained what he found, asked how we would like to proceed, then promptly updated our quote so we would know exactly what to pay. Not to mention, the work was flawless. I didn’t have heat for four days, my furnace was blowing out cold air in the midst of 29 degree weather. Corey came out, same day and diagnosed my issue. He helped me out tremendously and I was able to get heat about just a few hours later! Extremely preofessional, courteous and understanding. Highly recommended! Kai, Michelle, and Corey are all terrific. They installed a replacement AC and in the process found that our water heater was leaking. Corey replaced the water heater with a AO Smith commercial model which has made a big difference in the hot water availability.Then there is the price factor. I called 5 or 6 companies to come out for an estimate and the range was from ridiculously high to pretty good given the nature of the heating and cooling business (expensive). On a chance Google search, I stumbled across Community Heating and Cooling and never looked back. Just the sheer professionalism of Kai and Michelle over the phone attracted me to this business. But it turned out the price was so very good compared to King and Pierce county installers.After one year of the initial install, I give Community Heating and Cooling five stars!

Our heat pump died, we got several estimates none of which came close to the price, personal service or schedule flexibility of Community Heating and cooling. Kai was so attentive to our needs we felt like part of the family. Her husband Corey did the installation himself with a helper. They removed the old heat pump and furnace/AC unit and installed complete new system in one day. As ours was a very old system Corey offered to construct a new cover for the unit at no extra charge in his shop as the old one just had a wood cover which no longer fit the opening. Highly recommend this great professional husband wife team.

The crew arrived to install a new furnace, crossover pipe and thermostat at 8:45 this morning. Very friendly, professional crew, including the business owner. They did the necessary work efficiently and cleanly, leaving the area cleaner than they found it. We have heat throughout the house for the first time in years. We had no idea our heating system was so bad. After a full briefing on the work that was done and programming our new thermostat to our specs, they were gone by 10:45. Great, friendly HONEST service.They helped me on the phone, gave me some basic troubleshooting tips, and I was able to figure out (what turned out to be simple, this time) the problem myself.They may not have gotten a sale today, but they earned a customer for life.

They serviced my unit last year so they gave me approximately what it will cost to replace it. So nothing on paper. Over the phone only.

I called Community Heating and Cooling to set up a service call to install a circuit board that I had purchased. The receptionist was very polite and wanted to help me out in spite of the fact that its not company policy to install parts they dont provide. I was quoted $350.00 plus a $169.00 service fee to wire the circuit board with no guarantee. It seemed to me that the price was high considering there were no parts involved. $516.00 for labor prompted me to do the job myself and I did so successfully within an hour. Having been in the plumbing service business for thirty years I would suggest that you dont quote prices over the phone. Thats what a trained technician should be able to do for the price of the $169.00 service call.

I’m 75 miles away from my older parents. Their furnace quits on a Sunday. Someone’s out to check it on Monday. Parts in and swapped out on Wednesday. Something goes wrong. More parts order and swapped out on Friday. More stuff goes wrong. The end is getting a new furnace, installed on the Sunday a week after all this started.Now for the amazing human side of this story. Kai, Cory, Cameron and Michelle kept updating me on the status of the work being done for my parents. I’m communicating via FaceTime and phone calls. Not once did I feel like they didn’t care, being given the run around, or taken advantage of. Believe me, being far away from elderly parents who need help can make anyone feel helpless. They treated me and my parents with such professionalism and kindness. Did I mention this was the time between the first snow in February and runs into Snowmageddon? They brought space heaters to them, because I mentioned how worried I was about my parents being cold and not complaining. Thank you to Community Heating and Cooling. Kai and the crew replaced our gas furnace, installed a ductless system in my garage/shop, and ran some new ductwork. Work was done quickly and well. Kai was fantastic to work with and made it easy to get the PSE rebates. Couldnt be happier.

They were honest about what was needed to add A/C to my house, provided great communication even after the installation, were friendly, efficient...and all for a reasonable cost . I would recommend them to anybody for their HVAC needs!
