The service was excellent from the beginning to the end. We have only had our wood floors in for about a month, but so far we love them. We were really picky and David was very patient with us and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!

We purchased our flooring from The Wood Guys a few months ago to install ourselves.David was wonderful to deal with from the first time we came in, to the ordering process then the picking it up. He was always able to answer any questions we had, very knowledgeable of their products, and great sense of humor.

Do not recommend -I had a budget of $4,500 for my flooring project.Their estimate came in at $4,860.I was willing to work with the owner Steve Bird to get the cost closer to my $4,500 budget.I stated I would have all my furniture moved myself instead of having them do it and other items to reduce the cost.Steve Bird never returned my call or email and when I contacted the store a week later. They had no interest in working with me to try to work within my budget.Apparently my job / money was not worth their time.Response from the owner 4 hours agoDan,This is not a fair review. Your statement is not correct. My office manager explained our reasons to you for not coming down in price. You did not offer anything to help the cost come down, you told my manager that you expected us to match your desired price as is. Just like any other retail business, you cannot expect a retailer to come down on price just because you have a budget. We do offer less expensive products that would fit your needs.I have an excellent office staff that is capable of handling pricing issues that do not need to be resolved with an owner. We used this guys in 2017. Very professional. No high pressure sales. Knowledgeable, addressed all our questions. Would definitely go back for future projects.

The restoration of the wood floor in our entry way/hallway turned out amazing! The whole process from the initial quote to project completion was straight forward and went off without a hitch. The only complaint is that there was some stain that got on the trim that did not get cleaned off. Perhaps taping it off would have prevented that from happening. Otherwise, the floor turned out beautifully. Will use again for any future projects.

We are currently on week 4 of a 2 week project. My front door wont close, my other two exterior doors have gaps at the bottom of them that were supposed to be fixed on day 3 or 4 of said project. They had to sand and re-stain after the initial stain was not as advertised. We are still waiting for nail holes and gaps in our stairs to be fixed after pointing it out 2 weeks ago and demanding resolution. There is splatter on our new tile floor in our half bath, and we had to scrape polyurethane off our quartz countertop in our laundry room. There is no communication unless you are calling them. There are excuses galore and nobody is accountable. If you are looking for frustration and suffering use these guys.

My husband and I came in searching and searching for the right replacement flooring after experiencing a flood in our living room. The Wood guys did a phenomenal job walking us through what would be involved and were so patient with us as we were new this this giant world of flooring materials and methods. They knew what to anticipate with a disaster recovery project like ours, which gave us some encouragement and comfort. They gave us several samples to take home and look at in our own environment for a couple of days. That was one of the most helpful things we could have done in making our decision. The floors in our house had been carpeted for many years and we had one place that we thought was ruined. We figured we would have to use a rug in that area. We were amazed and ecstatic when we saw the floors when they finished them. They are gorgeous and no sign of the area we thought was ruined. What I appreciated the most was his candidness that the job I had would not require their services if I was willing to put in a relatively small amount of work. I cant really say enough about this place. Everyone arrived in time and was nice enough. Inspection was inaccurate, but they went above and beyond to fix the problem and I have no complaints at all. Everyone makes mistakes, but its how you fix the mistakes that matters most. When my floor was uneven, they arranged for someone to come out get it level and it was painlessAnd I cant say enough good things about BJ, my installer and demo man. Somehow my previous review has been deleted.I finally got a call back from the same employee who told me she couldn’t do anything. I asked her at the time to have her supervisor or the owner call me. I never got a call until I posted a negative review. Then I got a call from that same employee. She seemed shocked to learn I had not heard from her manager or the owner. She said I’m calling them right now. If you don’t hear from them in 30 mins let me know. I didn’t so I called her back. She said I heard my manager leave you a message. I said hang on let me check. I had no missed calls or messages. She said my manager is here let me transfer you. She did. The manager called the wrong number, even though it’s on my paperwork. Ok. We went through all that happened. Keep in mind this is the third house I have remodeled. I have dealt with a lot of vendors. The manager here was so unbelievably unhelpful, disrespectful,, and eventually downright combative. I was shocked. I finally told her that I will require a call from the owner. We shall see if this happens.

Okay... I started with a couple of companies for quotes. Keith, was awesome. Knowledgeable and educating. Top notch guy who knows wood floors. Seth was awesome and helped me every step of the way. The crew who laid down new wood and laced into my old wood did a great job. Finish crew was epic. Had a small issue with “white line” and Seth and Keith had crew out next morning and added color and sealed. Just above and beyond expectations. I 100% made the right decision. We had some hardwood floor damage in our family room. They pulled up about 100 square feet of the original floor and and replaced it. They sanded, restained and refinished about 300 square feet. The actual installation of the wood was very well done. They warned me that the stain and sheen may not match up perfectly with the rest of the original floor. However, it is amazingly close. You really cant tell the difference. The price was very reasonable.Easy to work with as far as scheduling for the three step process. They were very good about clean-up and respectful of our property, my wife and me. They were very professional. I would recommend them to anyone. Hopefully, I wont need them again, but I would certainly go back to them for any hardwood floor work. Thanks, guys.

Extremely pleased with the quality and service. We opted for the ‘lowest’ cost when we selected a wood floor installer a few years ago. Little did we know how they were cutting corners and doing things so sloppily. We had nothing but trouble with them. It all had to be ripped out and this time we hired based expertise. The staff here is really nice and helped me figure out what look and texture of floor I would be most happy with. These guys are the real deal. We had them remove tile and carpet and lay about 2200sqft of hardwood. They did the job right on schedule and the product is fantastic and overall cheaper than high grade engineered products.

This was our 2nd flooring purchase with Wood Guys. Both times the process of selecting flooring and bringing it home to view in our surroundings was easy. Yesterday, Wood Guys installed our beautiful floor throughout our home: hallways, closets, pantries, laundry room and kitchen. There were many angles to be cut in our kitchen and BJ Gear took the time to measure carefully and cut carefully. The installers came out, introduced themselves and got busy, they were friendly and very professional! They stopped working every time I had a question and they were kind enough to explain their answer in layman terms. Our schedule changed one day causing us to have to be gone, and we felt very comfortable leaving them in our home. They were kind enough to let our dogs out for potty breaks. We love the waterproof laminate product we chose, and the workmanship was fantastic!

They refinished our 1930s wood floors. I was really amazed, they looked brand new at the end. I had to reschedule a few times at the last minute and I called the office about a million times while the work was being done to get progress reports, everyone I talked to was very patient, friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. I only gave 4 stars because I had originally thought the floors would get done in a 3 day period, and it ended up taking about 5 days. Not a huge deal in the end.
