South Tulsa Community house is a blessing. They gave us everything we needed from food to everyday essentials and cloth face masks. We called and did a quick phone interview and had an appointment set right away to get our stuff in less than a hour. I have never been to a social services organization that gave so much great stuff like they did. I would recommend this place to anyone in need.
A very helpful organization for those in need of some type of assistance.Help is given in groceries, seeking employment, legal aide. There are several computers available to use for employment search, locating housing. The staff is friendly & understanding. And they keep everything moving along very smoothly. They cater to a specific area of town.Military Veterans are welcome from anywhere in the area
Amazing staff! Super friendly and always willing to go that extra mile for you!
Pretty good program but if you’re look to actually learn something like as if you where in a school classroom I wouldn’t come here they give you work to do and go over it at the end of the day it a great place to get your GED fast though
They are so helpful at this place and the people really care!
Great place to get food, bus tokens, work on a computer (looking for a job and so on), free WiFi, copier machine and phone and possibly fax! Food is only Monday - Thursday 9am to 1pm but might stop taking people at Noon if they have too many people. You are allowed to come back once a month for food and if you dont drive you best bring a shopping cart cause a cart you push around to haul your stuff in wont be big enough room for everything you get!
Its my Voting location...NICE did everybody Vote...???
Went seeking assistance with Food and transportation. They were very helpful. I recommend them to anyone looking for some help
Its a great place to go some of these staff that are all volunteers that is understandable but the way that they present the hospitality two people that come in for simple stuff sometimes their attitude and the way that they are being treated for half the volunteers Im not aware of pending for whatever reason if theyre having a bad day or something happened before they came that they may be upset and they take it out on us as the ones coming in for free services but other than that its a perfect place to go 4 bus tokens food help and help on other stuff its a good place
Very helpful. They are there when you need them.
December 12th 2018 the South community House its a great place they have not an educational program if you are in need of food assistance if you need assistance of faxing / phone service if you need legal aid enchanted laundry services its a great place to go when you are in need of help here in South Tulsa located in between 1st and Peoria and 61st and Peoria South if you coming from 51st heading south it will be on your right hand side if youre coming from 61st and Peoria South heading northbound from 61st it would be on your left hand side right past a little small shopping strip mall called brookview small it be right past that you cant miss it South Tulsa community House

Great place and a great teacher theyre getting my GED now
Great place helps with a lot of things for families
Went there to vote and was able to get in and out. Love that location because every time I go there to vote its never crowded.
If you live south of 61 Peoria forget it.Favortism rampant.Must have removed yet another good worker to replace with what you have.Savanah Landing if you live there your golden any other area beyond 61st your ignored treated like you dont belong.Favoritism rampant. So whoever runs this needs to review policy to make it appear more fair.
Free GED classes great teachers no pressure
Beautiful people & they TRULY help you anyway they
The lady that helped me was very nice and helpful
Nephew goes for me as I am homebound.Today he was there 9:30am till almost one.One lady finally checked on it was due to my lease. He had brought one last month.New lady no big deal. One lady pulled him in a office proceded to chew him out as its free food I dont have to give you anything. No thats rude he was waiting might have been upset he was waiting on a fax and didnt know the machine. That lady needs to learn some common decency before she says a word.I am a vet and 73 yrs old.He helps me no one else has.Yet one person really tried to get a rise out of him.Other than that its been good one person always spoils the rest.
Always kind, take good care of everyone that comes for services
They give u spoiled outdated goods the workers get to go thruthe good stuff before they give it out and the 2 women at the sign in desk r very rude
