This place is horrible and they lie! I had my I.D. faxed over and they claimed that the page was blank. It was for a protective order. They are supposed to protect women! They deserve 0 stars.

Discrimination against trans individuals

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. After filing and getting an em po approved I was to go up here and complete the filing. Got there at 1030am no one including security could tell me where to go in. After almost an hour a nice employee in the building helped me. Got to the door at 1115 to find out they closed early at 11 and they would not see me. This is a SAFETY CENTER. Not very safe, I was obviously upset and afraid only to be sent on my way. This is shameful for our familys in desperate need. Not recommended. This place is trash

Went to help my granddaughter with much needed paperwork. Even though it was a long wait, it was comfortable. They have childcare while youre waiting, snacks, drinks and are there to make you feel safe and very friendly.

Pretty helpful. Depends on who is available to help. Some seem to have lost drive to truly help. Guess thats from seeing what they see everyday. Their intentions are good.

While going through such a tragic event in my life, the staff here was so gracious and knowledgeable and helped me step by step through a horrible ordeal. They went above and beyond what I ever expected, I hope you never have to visit this place, but rest assured if you do, these folks are AWESOME!!!!

This place is extremly helpful. They are full of caring staff that truly wants to help you. They assist in legal aid and domestic violence. Its a very secure building by the courthouse. They have many resources for helping people, they also assist with protection orders. Great place.

Information intake was good but the very young uncaring rep that helped with application is in the wrong field VERY COLD, SNAPPY & I spent most of my time alone in a booth waiting for her to finish her personal conversation with a co-worker before she came to complete the process. IF YOURE BATTERED ALREADY YOU DONT EXPECT TO COME TO DVIS & BE BATTERED SOME MORE

Really holistic approach to taking care of domestic violence survivors and their family. There is free childcare with highly trained staff here too, so clients can attend court with a few less worries.

Everyone was so kind and empathetic. I was upset, anxious & nervous. The staff went above and beyond.

They are very organized and respect your needs.

They were so helpful helping me file my protective order. The kids room was really nice and my kids were comfortable there.

I have never felt so safe and understood. Thank you!
