I have only been going for two weeks now, I love everything they have to offer.I don’t like crowds so I go when it slows down which is either early in the mornings or later evenings about 6pm to close. All machines are available and there is hardly anyone in the pools.Based off of some of these concerns and complaints on here, I think I’ll remain on off times because I don’t want my son to see any inappropriate swim attire. There was one comment about guests…there are some fees associated with bringing guests of 12 and under, 18 and under, and over 18. This information is on their website and also on the front door by the receptionist station…you can’t miss it.I would just say, educate yourself about the rules and prices before you sign anything. If the staff doesn’t know their own rules and pricing, I would immediately let management know.Everything has been ridiculously clean, machines are top of the line, they have every machine and weight you could ever dream of, there is plenty of personal space, no judgment kind of place, and again…I’ll stress going on low rush hours, I haven’t gone on busy hours but I can only imagine it might be a little too social or you may have to wait for a specific machine. My son is 12 and he’s tried it out as a guest, I am thinking about adding him for sure! He loves the pool and is able to do some weights and machines with me. Very cool that we can workout together…other gyms won’t allow this, so this is the biggest perk of all for a single mom! ❤️
What a warm welcome!Everyone is extremely attentive, professional, and friendly, making it a pleasant experience from the first step through the door. All the amenities you could ask for, and enough redundant equipment that you shouldnt have trouble finding a spot even when its busy. 5/5!edit: shout outs to Steven, Mason, Jamison, and perhaps most of all, the many team members we had only brief interactions with (didnt catch their names!) Were stoked to be new members here :)
We have been members for 7 years now. We plan to be literal “lifetime” members. The facilities are fantastic. Things are very well maintained. The pools are amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We have a family of 5 and this is absolutely a second home for us.
When it’s not over crowded it’s great when it’s busy it’s kind of hard to get in and get out depending on your workout style. The Kids Academy is fantastic and the staff of the whole facility is awesome!
Lifetime is a place of comfort and relaxation. I enjoyed my time there tremendously as I practiced basketball with friend. I cannot imagine life without Lifetime.
Great place. Started offering pickle ball. Yoga rooms are great.
Our family loves both the indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor area feels like a resort. Great workout classes and appreciate the early morning class offerings so I can go before the kids get up. Beautiful facility and yummy food and drinks too.
Post pandemic Lifetime Fitness is nothing like the place that existed before. Typically if I have nothing awesome to review about a place I just leave it alone, but the issues here are just a sign of underlying management issues that I’m assuming come from the top, not the actual location. My number one issue is the constant change in what policies they adhere to and who is going to be enforcing them at what time. What is written on the website is not what is current despite this being brought to their attention months ago. Sounds like minor details but it has to do with membership perks that don’t exist.Just be extremely cognizant and read their agreement and also question them about it. You will get different answers. The one thing I looked the other way about over the years is staff friendliness. I really don’t care to be bothered, but after joining another gym I realized that there are small gestures that make people feel appreciated, which Lifetime has never really focused on. In the end it’s a gym behind a strip mall in Oklahoma, being stuck up just doesn’t impress anyone unless they too feel like they are above the rest at their public gym.
Incredible place! Very upscale ambience and clientele. Staff was friendly and always delivers a smile 😃
Best gym ever if they could put couches in the womans locker and tv it will be awesome.
Nice pools. Very clean locker rooms. Knowledgeable staff. A great gym experience.
Beautiful gym, tons of equipment, great layout, and the childcare program is BEYOND worth the money. Theyve got a lot of unique things like a rock climbing wall, which is available for the kids too, multiple pools, the locker rooms are great (you dont need to bring your own lock). Tons of awesome amenities, so theres basically nothing you need. Unfortunately, canceling your add-ons is the most frustrating thing you will ever do in your life. I was offered a month of free swim lessons for my son, but I knew they werent going to work for us long-term because hed only be able to go twice a month. They advised to give it a shot and just cancel before the next billing cycle. Sounds good. I mean...it SOUNDED good. When that time comes to cancel your add-on, you go online. Theres no option to cancel it online. Okay, Ill do the online chat. Nope, they dont have the ability either. Okay, Ill give the club a call. The person who can help you cancel isnt available. No worries, Ill leave a voicemail. Never get a response. Okay, let me send an email. Never get a response. Okay, Ill just swing by in person. Theyre not in the office today. Do you know when theyll be in? Nope. Fantastic. So your last ditch effort to cancel a swim class that you added on because it was free initially ends with you having to cancel the entire gym membership and re-enroll at another time. So if you never add on things, youll be totally okay. Great gym, people are okay, lots of super awesome amenities, but those little extras will drive you crazy.
I feel sad to say this, because we have loved LIFETIME and have great memories here with our family! The quality and customer service have decreased significantly. Immodest womens bathing suits are allowed at pool which is always full of kids (thong, tonga, g-string). Shower areas in womens locker rooms werent clean the other night either. Big lack of reaching out to members who signed up online, lack of quality, lack of service, lack of information, and no welcome, and my husband had a very rude and argumentative encounter with a front desk worker. What is happening LIFETIME???
Good luck trying to get signed up here! I’ve gone up there 2 different times of the day and was told to come back at a different time because nobody was there. You would think a business that is about getting new memberships would have people there to get said memberships.
Doing a great job updating equipment. Excited to see more bar clamps and more chest fly machines added.
I literally went gym shopping. I visited almost every gym in Tulsa! I guess I saved the best for last because when I checked out life time I was sold!!!!!!!! And no they didnt pitch a sale to me, I mean I fell in love. It is so spacious and so clean and so much to do! Literally an inside and outside pool. Not to mention the outside pool has a giant water slides. You get everything here, and I mean everything! Yoga!, Jacuzzis, Cycling, running club, kick boxing, Zumba, weights, pilates, basketball court and its huge! Inside. Who doesnt love inside basketball man. !Not to mention there is rock climbing and so so much more. If you can waste your money on cheeseburgers, movies and cable you can afford this place! Its all about priorities. People say its too expensive but yet they pay more eating out all the time! Its all about how you look at it. And this place is so worth your health and so worth getting out there and being active. ❤️ And the staff are always super helpful and so kind!!!!! ❤️
We, like many other families, have paid the full membership fee the entire year during COVID, without using the facility hardly at all, in anticipation that things will resume, business as usual, at some point. However, we’ve been incredibly disappointed as COVID restrictions are lifted. They continue to have restricted childcare hours and gym hours. We call ahead to see if the outdoor pool is open and are told yes, only to discover when we get all the way there that it’s not, for no reason whatsoever. There are 6 lifeguards available (that I can see) and numerous disappointed families and they still refuse to open the outdoor pool despite a complete staff and a clear, sunshiny day in late June. It’s ridiculous and not worth the money. They owe each member an apology and a partial refund. They clearly only care about their bottom line.
Always clean and great equipment selection. Awesome amenities.
I was able to do pretty much everything involving a basic full body workout. It had what I needed to get the workout I wanted.
Great gym. Clean, good service and offers a lot. I wouldve ranked it 5 stars if it was open 24 hours.
When I took the tour of this place it was clean and employees appeared to be friendly. The sales person was a smooth lier. We asked specifically about the pool and pool rules since we were impressed with the facility for our six year old. He lied to us about her being able to swim with her floaties on. However after being there we found out that you have to stay 10 feet next to her the entire time even while in shallow end of the pool where water was waist high. When talking to management about this and our concerns about being lied to about the rules this is when things went down hill. There was no customer service apologies or anything. Basically told us our membership doesnt matter to them or our comments or concerns. Such a wonderful place ruined by management. Left me with a very bad taste in our mouths. This run in with management ruined or experience we had the 13 days we were members before this. We found out quick that under the glits and glamour you see it comes down to tricking you to get your money even if they have to lie to do it. When you bring it to management attention they rather you end your membership than take care of the issues you bring to there attention. Before today I would recommend this place however now I would say unless you are okay to being lied to and money taken and no actions taken about issues but not caring you leave then this would not be a good fit for you. I would a have been fine with the rules if told up front and question where answered truthfully. However I dont like being lied to just to get us to become members and management is okay with this.
Camern was absolutely awesome she helped with all my questions with great patience best gym ever!!
I have been coming here for 1 year and couldn’t be happier. Super clean locker rooms, all the amenities and friendly staff! My favorite part is that many of the staff remember my name! My only real complaint is the touch screens on the bicycles could use improvement and the free weight area can get a bit cramped. Being a member at Sky before this I can say that LifeTime is definitely worth the premium! Thanks!
This is a very good gym. If you do not like crowds and like a little privacy when working out, this gym isn’t it. It is a very social atmosphere.
Great place, there is a cafe, HUGE workout center, child play time area, zumba classes a indoor and outdoor pool, basketball center and camps! Theres even more! And best of all, NO ONES JUDGEMENTAL! Pleasee come here!
Be photo and drivers license identified just to do a quick escorted walk-through to see if I might like to become a member??? I dont think so. Total BS.
Pricey, but makes me feel pampered, which gets me there more often!
Great atmosphere and a very clean place
The gym itself is outstanding. However, the childcare facility is dirty, over crowded and poorly managed.
I was going to rejoin but I see your membership has gone up and now a $50 outdoor pool access fee. No thanks.
Over the top nice gym. Clean, orderly, and equipment galore.
Beautiful and amazing gym!!
Good gym. Clean. Lots of variety.
The club is clean and well maintained. Group trainers are enthusiastic, engaging, and well prepared. I joined in July 2017 - not a single bad experience. September 2019 finally decided to take cycle class (game changer) should have started sooner!!! Lifetime offers Great classes led by the best fitness instructors. Few of my favs: Aurora • Megan.E • Lindsay.S changing lives in South Tulsa, OK
The Best Gym In Tulsa...Everything Always Works from the Equipment to The Steam and Dry Sauna, Jucuzzi and All Their Swimming Pools with Different Temperatures. And They Have Shampoo/Soap in The Clean Showers...Excellance 👍
Tracy gave me the most amazing facial! She has the most comforting demeanor and relaxing voice. Ive never been to Lifetime to use the workout equipment, but I will definitely be back for pampering. I felt relaxed from the very beginning until the end. The vibe of this spa is like a five star hotel. Ive been to other luxury spas in South Tulsa, but this has to be my favorite experience so far. Book a facial with Tracy, you wont regret it! P.S. she also does amazing brows!
Great atmosphere and people are very helpful. Has tons of exercises for people including classes, swimming, basketball, weight machines, etc... About the only thing I wish they had was a requet ball court, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons!
Best gym in Tulsa ! I have tried everywhere else-The Y, Sky Fitness, Vasa, Genesis Health Club, St. Francis Health Zone, and nothing will ever be better . They continue to upgrade it and keep it exceptional, staff is friendly, locker rooms are lovely, and the steam/sauna and hot tubs are always so clean. The fitness instructors all of them are superior. Trainers are helpful. You should join! You seriously will not regret it.
The gym itself is awesome! I just wish they would make it more affordable so I could actually join it!! Affordability is the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars.
My sister was going to use her guess pass on me but they said i had to be 18 to get in. my sister is 17 and has the membership and they consider adults 12 and older there. i don’t understand why i had to be 18 to use their pool. my sister was going to a class so we couldn’t just leave so they made me sit outside for over a hour waiting for her and wouldn’t even let me sit inside or use the bathroom.
It was very clean, everyone was maintaining social distance, very friendly and very helpful, got all my questions answered.
Great equipment and so clean!
I really made a terrific first impression on me the first time I did a circuit in the sauna, steam, and showers. Lifting too much still but my trainer is going to regulate my balance. Liking the eliptical machine too for little impact on my new hip. ⚾️💪🩲🏓
The management is not good and friendly. The locker rooms and restrooms are not clean most of the time. In the cafeteria, the cashiers that handle money and card prepare the shake without either washing their hands, nor putting on gloves. I brought this up to the GM and he thinks it is okay to do this!!! He thinks they just need to wash their hands when they prepare foods not shakes and smoothies!!!However, the personal training team are great there, especially Lori and Stephanie are very well-trained and friendly and thats the reason I still go there.
The low stars surprise me, because V stays in great shape with all that lifetime has to offer: workout area with every piece of equipment needed, free classes, indoor and outdoor pills, rock wall, basketball courts, spa, saunas, steam rooms.... Its all here and thats where you should be! V says if youre on the south side, you should join up - if your complaining about the price, youre probably not using all that it has you offer.
The best
VERY NICE. Best fitness center in Tulsa. We really enjoyed our visit.
Best athletic club in Houston! Highly recommend to anyone looking to make a positive change
Clean club, great pool area. good food. Equipment always kept up. Great programs for kids.
Nice place but pricey! They are always trying to sell you a personal trainer package. Just leave us alone and let us work out! The classes are usually crowded. I spoke with a former customer and they canceled . It is a nice place though.I do not like that they kids kids out of the pool at a certain time.
My family and I were members here for six years. Top notch amenities but a lot of the policies at this specific location are whack. Membership fees are incredibly high; my family finally dropped when they were told I aged out at 22 but the membership rate for a family of three would remain the same--$180/month.
Yes, very expensive gym, as many others have said, but theres not much left out: theres every conceivable workout station, pool indoor and out, two hot tubs, saunas, daycare, two full indoor basketball courts, etc. My only complaint is how ferociously ovrstressed the staff seems to be at all times. Theyre always friendly but I often get the feeling that if they show any sign of having an off day itll be lights out for them with upper management. And at times it kills the otherwise positive vibe they got going.
Liz their personal trainer is a great person and trainer! The staff is great and nonjudgemental. Slightly had an issue in daycare but was resolved. So if you want high class gym this is the place!!
Best in town, you get what you pay for, im so happy to be a member in life time fitness
Best gym in Oklahoma and Kansas because Ive used both of their locations regularly while living in Oklahoma and working in Kansas. I must say the amenities are amazing, but what really keeps me paying and coming back is the top notch childcare workers. My kids love them and Id have any one of them in my home baby sitting for me. They do extensive training for all their childcare staff and I feel so confident and relaxed while I work out that my toddlers are in good hands. A childcare facility and cleanliness can make or break a gym and Lifetime has every other gym beat by a landslide in both those arenas.
This gym is the best Ive ever been to... The staff, the equipment, and the facilities are top notch! Its always so clean and beautiful. The monthly cost is completely worth it: the yoga program alone, which is INCLUDED in your membership, makes the money worth every penny. There are lots of classes, and the instructors are all amazing. The locker room facilities are clean and luxurious, free lockers & towels, eucalyptus scented steam room, sauna, hot showers (although I do wish hair conditioner was provided in the womens locker room showers and lotion in the locker rooms! Theres just a soap/shampoo at the moment)Dont even get me started on the great pool and hot tubs!HIGHLY recommended. Its a bit of a drive for me, but I drive it happily knowing every time Ill enjoy my experience. I would love it if they opened up a location in midtown though!
Be very cautious when dealing with Lifetime. I found out the hard way that even though I requested a set # of personal training sessions for my daughter, they billed me for continued sessions because I “did not give 30 days notice”. My communication with them over the phone that I did not want continued sessions were ignored. After I was billed, the customer service was very poor.... I expected more out is this company. I did not have this experience in dealings with Sky Fitness in the past who was very accommodating and listed to their customer. Lifetimes facilities are amazing, but after this experience I would not recommend them to anyone.
Impersonal service and way to expensive. Nice amenities but that is where it ends. They try way to hard to sell expensive personal training packages for thing you can do on your own. Feels like an insurance sales pitch for things you do not need. Way to many stories about people getting ripped off when they try to cancel. The staff definitely has a superiority complex. Do not recommend.
Im taking yoga teacher training here and I would recommend it. Trisha and Tracey are excellent teachers.
Clean, open, gorgeous facility with friendly staff and high-end equipment.Personal favorites: yoga room, steam room, indoor pool & hot tub, outdoor pools and hot tub with a view of the trees.Great weights area with plenty of bench options. I like doing my abs and yoga in the the wood floor, full-length mirror room - the wall of windows looks out into the treeline.Climbing area is one of the best in Tulsa. Also they have childcare for the kids. The cafe offers many healthy options for a quick meal (love their wraps with arugula side salads). They also carry Quest bars, which are a personal favorite.
Great place to address all your fitness needs! A little expensive and the trainers seem to be a bit elusive but overall fantastic facility.
I really cannot imagine why anyone would give Lifetime Fitness less than 5 stars. It isnt even in the same league with any other gyms around! It looks like a resort from the street, but youve gotta check out whats on the inside! Like all the best things in life, Lifetime fitness has to be experienced to really get it. They are more than happy to have you come see! Go try everything out first, they are proud to offer free passes and personal tours. It took me all of 5 minutes before I realized I would never look at any other gym the same! Go see! If youve ever felt like... ugh, I gotta go to the gym again...and start going less and less. Youll never feel that way again. JUST GO to Lifetime!!
While this gym is very nice and has amazing amenities, trying to cancel a membership with them has been a COMPLETE nightmare. Great gym, but once you are locked in, don’t expect to get out easily.
Love this place, beauty salon is really nice. With products youll love.
I would not give Lifetime Fitness any scores is better than O. Customer services was not nicely at all when I try to cancellation my loyalty membership, I came six times to do the cancellation, or even to ask to holed my membership but they did not let me do it. I felt so terrific how people are unexpected and don’t care about what is my situations even I mentioned over many times, but I still CANNOT cancelled or holed my loyalty membership. I would not recommended anyone for this Lifetime Fitness, and if you going to join Lifetime make sure chose MONTH BY MONTH.
Hotel California. I canceled my membership in April 2019, yet theyre still charging my card. Have had nothing but NIGHTMARE experiences with this gym. A trainer told me if I didnt work to the point that I couldnt breathe, I would never lose weight--this was weeks after major surgery. Extra fees for literally EVERYTHING. RUN!!!
Outstanding Cafe customer service. My daughter spilled a shake as we were walking out on the ground and the team immediately came over to clean up the mess telling her it’s no problem. Then they quietly asked me if they could remake it before we left.Definitely going to stop by more for my post workout. Thank you.
Best gym out here. I get massages, lift weights, sauna and steam room. There is a deli and more. I have spent a day in there and was happy. Its a must go to place. Great for the family!!!!
I love this gym and I have always been treated with respect by the staff members. The only thing I would complain about is how crowded the group fitness classes are, even the 5 a.m. classes. I can see why they are crowded as the instructors are wonderful and the classes are amazing, but I wish they would create more classes so that it was not so crowded and more people could benefit from them. Overall, I absolutely love the gym and all the facilities it offers.
Lifetime is a great gym, great classes that challenge me . Has a variety of people of all ages young some older, great activities for children. Clean pools, saunas, steam rooms and great dressing areas for individuals and families.
I enjoyed the gym. The hot and steam saunas are amazing. I however asked questions about my membership and was not dooped into anything and I read the contract too so I understood. I Canceled it and adhered to the policy and had no problems. I knew what I got into and enjoyed every bit of my time there. Great staff always helpful and clean. Plenty of locker room space as well. Just the fees I didnt like per month @ $70 for just me was a bit too much. If u have kids its great.
Great place, but man it is packed ALL THE TIME. And not just people working out, kids are EVERYWHERE. I would venture a guess there are 2 small children for every one adult in the building at peak hours. Its nuts. If it werent for the ridiculous amount of small children this place would be 5 stars easy.
Love the gym super clean well maintained and nice employees
Nice facility. Up to date and clean. Hard to get into classes. We have a family membership for the pool. Went to the gym today and were ran out of the pool at 5:45, kids under 12 can’t swim after 6. Went to ask about this at the front desk and got “I don’t know” as a response from the attendant. Been there for over a year and never heard this one! Talk about a bunch of pissed off parents! Too much money for this nonsense. We are going back to Sky. Save your money. Seems like the place is under new management.
1. Overpriced2. Can only be a family membership if you are all under 21 years old, even if you live in the same home.3. Personal training - wastes more of your time. No one calls you back, once I was scheduled and no one put in the calendar so I wasted 20 minutes for an appointment that didnt exist.third time rescheduling-The customer service rep tried to help my situation and reschedule me. Well day of, I get a call from the trainer saying Im scheduled for the wrong time and that my LT bucks have not been put in my account yet so I will need to be rescheduled. Can no one manually enter a time correctly there?Fourth time rescheduling - Talked to a new girl who said my LT bucks would be fixed to get me rescheduled right away. After playing phone tag with the trainer, I get a text saying my points are not reinstated and that he is going on vacation next week.4. Corporate charges all sorts of fees but doesnt have time to help with my problems.Needless to say, I canceled my membership. Best decision I made.
The place is nice, but as usual with any health club getting out is a lot harder than getting in. We were OK with the 30 days notice, although thats still a crappy deal. They have to pay for that yoga room somehow. But when we actually tried to cancel, turns out you cant just cancel. We signed up on the website, so I assumed I could cancel that way as well. Turns out... no. You can send them a certified letter (which seems easy until you realize its going to take your entire lunch break to do that) or you can go by in person. The reason Im cancelling is because its too far in the first place. My mistake, but why should I have to go by to cancel? My advice? Cancel your credit card and get a new one and tell them where to shove it. But theyll get their money, those places are better at that than they are anything to do with health, believe it.The facilities are nice, though. They dont have all the programs they advertise on their website, like anything martial arts based. The pools are really nice, but packed like a water park. If theyd change their cancellation policy Id join again someday, but Im left with a bad taste in my mouth and Im not sure I want to.
I was working out in the area and was given a guest pass to use the gym. I showed up about 445 am to be able to get in a quick workout before my work function near here. They informed me that my pass wasnt good till 5 am and proceeded to have me sit there for 20 minutes to walk through the doors. It made my workout miserable trying to make up for the lost time. The gym was clearly open I had worked out the night before and signed their waiver but that didnt count 12 hours later.
I could not be more dissatisfied with their service. First, I was stood up by my personal trainer and I never received a makeup visit for the one they missed. Second, I went in and spoke with someone about the dirty state of the family locker room (dirty more often than not). Third, I cancelled our swim lessons and they continued to charge me even after I called and asked for my money back (3 months worth!) Jeremy finally returned my money for 2 of the 3 months and told me Caitlyn in aquatics would need to refund me the most current charges. After multiple attempts to contact her she finally told me that they would NOT refund my most recent charges. I asked to speak with the manager and she informed me she was the manager. They also charged me for a months membership after I cancelled (with my 30 day notice). They refunded me that too but it took months to get it all worked out. They are still refusing to pay me back for Julys swim fees. I do not recommend them in any form or fashion.
I love it. Im a mom and so the kids area is wonderful! Gives me an hour to get in a workout then during summers the kids and I head to the pool! Its the best day of our week actually. :) It is certainly not the cheapest place but love the quality and experience.
Having been a member of multiple gyms across the country, I definitely have the experience of dealing with member service when moving or needing to hold or cancel my membership and I would give this gym less than 1 star if it was possible. Lifetime Fitness is very unprofessional and they have been harassing me with emails and calls after providing them with the appropriate information to hold my membership. After providing the appropriate information to do a hold on my membership they charged me anyway. I contacted them to refund my money. My money was never refunded, yet they continue to call me because i denied further charges with my CC and they could no longer charge me. Finally 2 months later after many harassing calls and emails from Lifetime, they refunded less money than they charged my card for. I finally let them know that I have everything they are doing and say well documented including phone calls and whom and when i spoke with said person. I spoke with another individual from corporate and i ask her if she can see where they refunded me less than they charged me for and she said yes - I let her know that kind of poor business practice is not acceptable, and instead of putting my membership on Hold i now need to Cancel my membership. She said she would refund the difference to me, but still have not seen the money (no surprise) and it has been more than a week. Fast forward to today, I get a threatening call from their corporate office, threatening to send me to collections. I almost laughed. I informed the man that I have spoken to many people from Lifetime and have all of Lifetime fitness action very well documented, and there would be no such action, and if so, I will have to get my lawyer involved. At this point, it is sad that I will have to pay my lawyer to deal with shady business practices from this gym, however the money spent on a lawyer will be well worth it to put this poor ran business in its place. Lifetime Fitness is a membership mill not a gym. All of the members wronged by this place should ban together and take action.
I went and got a 7 day free pass. I love the amenities. but when I decided that the gym wasnt for me they called and asked why and wouldnt let it be. Taking a tour there is like going to a auto dealership. your going to get pressured. I love the place its awesome. I just had a few problems. 1) its way to pricey and the only real reason I didnt join. 2) the high price allows for a certain kind of crowd to accumulate there. in short, the wealthy and stuck up types. I definitely wasnt comfortable there. I felt like I was being judged by classier richer people or by such fit people that anyone with a normal fat content is below them.( Im of average weight if that tells you anything) 3) the cafe is expensive, theres no deals fire members there or at the spa on a reg basis, and if you pay attention half of the programs there cost extra money! as if 77 dollars a month isnt enough.so in short love the emanates but the price needs to be lowered to atleast 50 a month, then Ill join
Its not cheap but they do offer the highest quality of training in all forms of cardio workouts by certified professional instructors and they make it a point to be as kind and helpful as possible to there members. This place actually enriches my life. Its worth every dollar!!!
They bill without authority, use credit and numbers without permission, and vandalize their customers privacy.
Horrible service. If you try to cancel they will not let you and will keep charging. I gave my “certified” cancellation letter to the manager but was still charged $600 the next month for training fees that I did not do - I called and was told that the letter was “lost” and that I was obligated for the next month too. This is absurd. As many others have reviewed- your only way out of paying hundreds, maybe even thousands, is to cancel your auto pay credit card. Please do not be a victim of this membership scam like I was.
Great gym. Good facilities but just a little bit too much for people like me and my wife who are busy with work. The front desk people sometimes are good sometimes not professional. You may see them talking to friends without trying to help you with your issues while you stand beside.
Great place, easy 5 stars. Clean, nice, very comfortable and good service and food 👍
The staff at Lifetime Tulsa is ATROCIOUS and INCOMPETENT to say the least. I cannot even begin to describe the level of disgust i have for this place. After multiple stays in the hospital, I am still haggling with Lifetime Fitness over appropriate membership holds for being sick and hospitalized. Bridgette, the horrific membership manager has absolutely no business being in the position that she is in. I have never seen someone with such reprehensible people skills. If you feel like being disrespected, and paying for it to boot, by all means, sign up here. IF you feel like you deserve a little respect, go elsewhere, you wont be sorry.
I love the climbing. They also have great group classes. However, it could use some better cleaning-- a lot of the machines are dirty. Also, my car got hit in the parking lot, and despite the fact that I filed a police report, they wouldnt let me have access to the security camera footage that was right near my car because the cameras are for Lifetimes security only. So you have a video of who hit my car but I cant see it? Sounds like one of your employees hit it.
Its such an amazing gym. It is in the high price range (70 to be exact) but it has almost a lot of options. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, basketball courts, rock climbing, free classes, and much more.
I will never have a membership at Lifetime Fitness again. I have twice over the last 5 years and to cancel the current membership I was told I had to come in to store and speak with a member services employee, which wasnt available when I went in. I asked to speak w a manager and was denied. First off this is a move to avoid loosing the monthly membership fees. Second I havent used my membership in months and would like to believe some businesses have decent enough customer service not to put in place multiple levels and angles to keep out money... horrible service.
We joined when the gym opened, but we moved out of the area with no local Lifetimes close to us, although one is being built in our new area and set to open next fall so we were going to place our membership on hold instead of cancelling. We were told that was no problem they would take care of it for us and then now we are getting billed again this month for a full family (of 6) membership fee so my husband calls and talks to Tyler who says unfortunately it was not a 30 day notice (even though it was 3 weeks notice) so we are being charged another month. Even though we have been living an hour and a half away for several weeks now so instead of suspending it we are now having to pay full price for another month. We were going to just place our membership on hold and pay the $15 a month until next September when the new one opens by us but thanks to Tylers poor customer service and the way it was handled, this month will be the last month we will be paying any money to Lifetime Fitness and are cancelling completely. People be very aware of all terms of cancelling and all fees involved because they will not help in any way shape or form!!! Not customer service oriented at all, which I know you should expect at some places sadly but not when you have been a member for 5 years and paying for a 6 person family membership costing $165 a month.
Looks cool, and its probably why people want to get there. I went there to check it out and one of the first question I received from my consultant is if Im familiar with prices? Well, I guess I appeared too poor for them. I had to ask twice to show me facility first, I was expecting thet they show me everything and make me wanna join, but nothing like this. Looks like money is much more important for them then people. But I do like that they are kids friendly, for extra cost though ;) and you only will get two hours a day for daycare. Overall, not bad, but could be much much much better
I was a member for two years, and enjoyed my time there. I never had any issues with the staff, and as for the equipment, I always cleaned before and after I used them. Its not the friendliest of places, but great state of the art equipment. I cancelled my membership because its a bit overpriced for single user month to month, and I can go to other gyms for much less.
Good but way over priced and rude
3 Stars no way. This place is 10 STARS! If you think 89.00 is not worth joining this world class exercise facility, you are wrong, Swimming pools, basketball courts, and every up to date exercise machine available to man. 1000.00 a year for your health is a bargain. Join today!
Nice facility, but signed up through my business and never talked to a sales rep it was all done online. They required a card to be put on file and when i called to ask if any monhtly charges would be charged they told me no (lifetime told me no). Well left the company and moved out of state where life time does not have a club. Guess what happens next? They charge my card and when i go to call they say i have to talk to the general manager who was in the club but was busy and would call me back. A week later the general manager never called after me leaving 3 voicemails. I had to call the corporate office to cancel my membership, once again just a gym being greedy and not caring about customer service just about the money. My suggestion is make sure you read the fine print, the sales reps and club are looking for money not going over details of the contract with you and making sure you have the best experience possible. Which you would think would be there priority since they are a high dollar club.Amenities- A+Customer experience- FThey are friendly and willing to work with you until you try to leave... Never signing up at a lifetime again.
This is the best gym Ive ever been to. People who gave it a bad review are the kind of people who dont like to work out and are bitter. This place has everything and the price is super reasonable. Its great for the family as well. The group classes are amazing and give a great workout with results. The spa is awesome. The locker rooms remind me of a country club. Its super clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Love it and dont ever want to go anywhere else.
I love Lifetime gym and all the great services they offer.
