I have been going to Life Connection Counseling on and off as needed for 20 years this Fall. The staff is unfailingly polite, and my counselor (Janis Sharpe) has made all the difference for me as I deal with bipolar disorder and anxiety. As a practicing Christian, I have found the counselling in a Christian context to be extremely helpful. I fully recommend Life Connection Counseling, especially for Christians of all denominations and faith approaches.
My husband and I have been working with Kyle to help us with boundaries and instilling secure attachment with our (now) 3 year old. As an attachment parenting/extended breastfeeding family it had been a struggle finding support from a professional the got us.Kyle has helped us understand our daughter in amazing new ways from a developmental and an emotional standpoint. Each week we leave with new tools and increased confidence as parents and partners.
I would recommend looking into other options when considering going to life connection counseling. I have had the worst experience from the first time to my last time the office staff on my first visit was rude and I felt like I was not welcomed. My counselor does not give any advice and prints pages out from Google and says have a nice day...I can do that at home Ive been to several counselors throughout my life and the experience that Ive had at life connection has definitely been the worst!! There are better ones out there people learn from my experience and keep looking!!!
There are a number of excellent therapists with a wide range of specializations. The ones I have seen have been extremely knowledgeable and professional and I have never had an issue with office staff.
Great people, good atmosphere, I really benefited from my sessions there.
