They were great to work with until the check cleared. Micah -- my sales rep -- was communicative and quick to get to work, but during the installation improper materials were used that will cause the new roof to age much faster than it should and as such will require unnecessary repairs in the foreseeable future. This was flagged upon the walk-around review with Micah the day after installation and I was told it would be fixed within the week. After the papers were signed I have not heard back and my messages have been read but not responded to. This occurred just over 1 month ago now and I have not heard back since the day of the inspection when this agreement was made, despite sending follow up messages.If you do work with Conrads roofing, dont let them leave your property or close out the job unless every single thing is accurate and correct, as they may ghost you like they have me, leaving necessary repairs undone and eliminating the opportunity to access the supposed warranty.

Initially I was impressed with the sales man. After waiting over a month they finally got to my roof. This where it went down hill. I recognized from the beginning that my house is over 100 years old. Originally cedar shack with asphalt singles over that. I was concerned with what the condition of the slats and rafters would be.Was told by the sales man not to worry that they would get supplemental from the insurance company for unforseen weaknesses. Had I not been home to watch the progress these unseen weaknesses would have just been coveredThe salesmen assured me that he would be here when the workers started and would check in periodically during the course of the job to make sure everything was going well. He never showed up. As a matter of fact I never saw him again. I had to ask them to stop a couple times while I called the office to voice my concerns.Part of this job was to to rebuild my front porch cover. No one was aware that this was part of the quote. I had to bring it to their attention 3 times.My roof came out okay. But the communication between sales staff and installers was non existent. Imo when you are paying this kind of money it shouldnt be the homeowners job to police whats going on. Very stressful!! didnt go with the cheapest estimate Conrads estimate was middle ground. I would not use them again because of the lack of communication all around. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there are no leaks or issues that might pop up.As a side note Moses, the sub contractor that rebuilt my porch did an amazing job. I felt bad for him . He was called in at the last minute and his job was made more difficult because the main roof was already complete .

We own a 2 story classic craftsman home near Cherry Street and Utica Square, built in 1907. The back to back hail storms in April 2020 had roofers backed up and overloaded. Water was leaking heavily into the kitchen and dining room on the first floor, so we needed a quick response to minimize damage. I picked 3 roofing companies (having a large number of 5 Star Google reviews) and called to get quotes from them. When I spoke to John Killian at Conrads, the day after the leaks started, even though it was raining he had men out within a couple hours to tarp the roof where it was suspected the leaks were coming from. I had not yet received quotes for replacing the roof, so John had no assurance that Conrads was going to be my pick, since I had not yet gotten any of the 3 written quotes. While waiting for those 3 quotes, I asked John to bill me for putting the temporary tarps on the leaking area, since I wanted to be fair to them, in case I decided on one of the other roofing companies for the re-roof. John quickly replied that they were not going to charge me for the temporary tarp solution.A couple days later, when I got the quotes from all three, one was $600 less than Conrads and the other was $1,100 more, so Conrads was right in the middle, with a fair price. During the process of making my pick, John was extremely responsive with every call, getting back to me in a matter of minutes. The low bidder was equally responsive but I picked Conrads because of the sense of urgency that John exhibited during a very tough time, in which it rained almost every day for two weeks. He found a way to squeeze me in, to get the new roof installed, on the first rain free day that popped up, knowing that I had an active leak. They got the new roof on in one day on May 12, 2020.Besides a very high quality job, there ended up being a totally unexpected surprise when it was all said and done. After having made my initial partial payment to Conrads (while I was arguing with the insurance company to cover water damage inside), John asked me to sign an Assignment of Insurance Claim, allowing them to deal directly with the insurance company, in which they could secure more money from the insurance company than I could argue for, due to their much deeper knowledge of code and other issues which warrant a higher level of claim payment than what the insurance company initially wanted to pay. Although I had never done an Assignment like that before on hail damage insurance claims on about 5 different properties that I have owned over the years, I was a bit hesitant at first, not knowing whether that would work to my disadvantage, when it was all said and done. Well, it turned out to be an excellent decision, since Conrads was a Rock Star in dealing with the insurance company and I am extremely happy that I trusted them to do that, with both Jordan and Tori in the front office taking the reigns with the insurance company negotiations. If you choose Conrads to do roofing work, you will not be disappointed because they will not only deliver a quality product, but you will find them to be extremely professional, responsive, and fair. Dont bat an eye. After all, I think that over 200+ 5 Star reviews on Google, pretty much says it all.

A young man named Zayne stopped by my house to do a roof inspection after he stopped by one time before. I figured out what was wrong with my roof and I was worried it was gonna be expansive but Zayne helped me file a claim with my insurance company and all I had to pay was my deductible.

Expected the premium shingles to take a couple of months to come in and in just 4 weeks we had a new roof. Very professional in the inspection, installation and especially the follow-up and continuous contact that Micah kept throughout the process.

I have had a very good experience with Micah from Conrads Roofing Company. He has come to our home multiple times to inspect the roof and explain things I didnt understand in a way I could easily comprehend. He also had someone else come by a separate time to look at other issues that we have going on at our home (chimney and siding) that was not roofing and guttering. He has been very professional and responsive thus far. We need our roof replaced and are in the process of getting everything started. Micah agreed to come meet the insurance adjuster whenever he comes and will work closely with us throughout this process. He has been very helpful and seems to really know what hes talking about and care about the customer. I will come back to update my review after service is completed, but as of now my experience has been a pleasant one and so far so good.

08-17-19 1:00 p.m. - I have waited over a year to provide this review because I want to be as objective as possible. I had a complete roof replacement performed by Conrad in May last year. The salesman was very friendly, insurance appraisal and payment went smoothly. However, the roofers evidently backed their truck into the front of my house. I understand accidents happen, but none of them admitted to their mistake. I heard a crash that morning, but it wasnt until the final walk-around with the salesperson that the damage was discovered. He was honest and pointed out that a window was broken and my siding was torn up. It took them several attempts at repair, but I was finally satisfied with the result. Then, in June of this year I discovered that my patio has water damage. I called immediately and made an appointment. The repair guy was a no -show. I called spoke with the owner and he had someone out the next day. There are still two spots on my patio that get wet when it rains (and we are expecting rain the next 2 days). A worker was supposed to come out yesterday, but when I called at 4:00 p.m., the office asked to reschedule for 8:00-9:00 a.m. today. It is now 1:00 p.m. and still no one has shown up. Im attaching pictures so you can see what my 1-year old patio looks like. Please note these are 3 different location, not 3 photos of the same spot. Hope this helps you with your decision whether or not to hire Conrad Roofing.Update 09-08-19 - Conrads repairman came out on 08-19-19 and installed a 5-inch metal trim around the problem area. At first I didnt think it helped, but after several weeks things seem to be drying out. Still bothers me that my new roof looks like this, but I guess a new coat of paint will help. Im attaching all new photos and a video so you can see the dried-out spots, as well as what the metal trim fix looks like.

When she found the issue, she showed me several pictures of the damages area on the attic side (no other company went into the attic despite my suggesting it... I didnt have to offer it to Jennifer, she suggested it) and explaining how we should go about fixing the issue (timeline, price, etc.)I found Conrads Roofing to be reasonably priced with excellent execution!
